Yes you're good to go( southern texas)

Good to go in Las Vegas NV on both ATT and TMobile

Good for TMo & AT&T in Austin, TX and Bay Area, CA

Getting mine today .. AT&T Honolulu ..
works great - popped the sim in and went right to full bars!

I'm on ATT in NYC and I am on the 2nd week on BLU Pure XL. I have Note 4 Tmobile and Note 3 ATT.
ATT LTE coverage is just a hair below that of the Note 3 ATT but overall the radio on the Pure XL is better than both Note 4 and Note 3.
I rarely lose LTE, maybe some spots I get 4G HSPA instead of LTE coverage here is decent..

Dayton Ohio here.... On cricket(at&t network) and coverage seems to be good

LTE Coverage in Bakersfield CA?

I thought for sure that Bakersfield CA had LTE coverage. I know my verizon buddy's can connect no problem but whats the word on AT&T LTE coverage in Bakersfield? All I ever can connect to is HSPA+

You might wanna look in to flashing a better radio for your device. Head over to the one X dev thread, there is a radio thread where you might find a solution to this problem.

According to AT&T's coverage map, Bakersfield does not have LTE
http://www.wireless.att.com/coverageviewer/
Only Verizon has LTE in Bakes. As for at&t......they probably have the worse reception in town. Or at least in my area (Rosedale). With so many customers (since the Cingular days) and limited towers, hours that seriously suck can range from noon til 6:30 pm when trying to access internet or data.
I feel you on that I live around ming and new stine and rush hour is killer. I'd expect at&t and its huge market monopoly here would have deployed lte months ago. I guess I'll have to wait until 2013..

Woot!
Bakersfield LTE is up for at&t now, not to impressive I linger around 12mbps and peak at 22. Hopefully broader coverage will bring things up in terms of speed.
They actually lit up Bakersfield Monday night about 8:00. Its been a good strong signal. Signal also seemed to have increased for HSPA+ phones. Ive been getting 16-25 down and 12-16 up. The AT&T map hasnt been updated since the middle of July, so it wont reflect Bakersfield until they update their map again.

T-Mobile Variant on ATT, Data Speeds

I've seen mixed information about how well TMobs One S will run on AT&T. So I have a couple questions to clarify...
1) I understand that it won't support LTE bands, but is AT&T HSPA+ supported?
2) What's the fastest down speed I could expect on AT&T?
3) Would I have any less coverage area by using the TMob One S on AT&T than the unlocked int'l version?
Thanks a lot!

Right it does not support lte but it does fully support att HSPA.
Theoretical max is 21.1mbps.... I see a average of about 4 and a max of about 9 in the DC area. Which, I might add, is better than my wife's galaxy nexus.
You actually get better coverage with unlocked tmob one s than the unlocked Intl version... the Intl version does not support att hspa bands.

I really appreciate it. I wound up finally finding a good, more recent thread right before you made your reply, but maybe this will help someone else down the road as well. I'm trying to decide between One X and One S on Att so this was a huge help!

Galaxy S6 Verizon

So the S6 on Verizon is $600. I want a cheaper price, but I want LTE on T-Mobile. Does Verizon's S6 work with T-Mobile's frequencies?

Why wouldn't it? The Verizon S6 supports AWS Band 4 which is what the majority of T-Mobile's LTE network is...
For sure Tmobile LTE will work on Verizon phones including iphone 5s 6 6+ Nexus 6 and LG G3
I have not tried the GS6 but it should work
I'm curious about it's GSM ability as well. I am going to London next month and am hoping I can buy a prepaid SIM there and be good to go. I am grandfathered on the unlimited data with Verizon so I paid full price for the phone, it should be unlocked or unlockable for use overseas, no?
guys i will answer for you.
I bought 3 SG6 from Verizon and none of them connect to 4g, fine with HSPA+, LTE, Edge, and everything else but forget about 4g
Lte is 4g

On T-Mobile they appear to actually have 4G and LTE networks. Not sure what the differences are underlying the two, but it is actually a meaningful distinction with T-Mobile. I just recently did a "test drive" on T-Mobile and learned of this (it was rather confusing at first because I'm used to 4G = LTE on Verizon).

Any definite answer as to if Verizon S6 will work on T-Mobile for voice, edge, 3g, and lte?

Blu Pure XL on T-Mobile?

I'm curious if anyone in the forum has bought the Blu Pure XL and used it on T-Mobile? Supposely the LTE support is "limited", but I would like to know what that might mean to me in the real world........
I recently took my Verizon-branded Samsung Galaxy S4 and ported it to Walmart Family Mobile (which runs off T-Mobile), and I've had some baffling issues. Time for an upgrade. Considering this device, but only IF it will work well with T-Mobile... thanks
Yes, it works on TMobile. I get 4G LTE on it. I'm using it around the Bay Area, East Bay and Sacramento area in California.
I'm surprised you can take any Verizon phone - which runs on CDMA - and use it on TMobile - which uses GSM.

Yes Verizon phones have cdma and GSM bands and I know ever since the iPhone 5 and the galaxy s5 Samsung and Apple phones from verizon come factory unlocked for GSM use.

Works fine in San Francisco bay area, Las Vegas, LA, San Diego & Austin TX. I had no coverage in Orlando,FL only.
I'm using it on t-mobile and have not had connectivity issues anywhere I've traveled.
The only thing missing on T-Mobile is LTE band 12, which is faster than the other bands present (provided you live in an area that has band 12.) I live in Dallas/Fort Worth and IN a band 12 area, and my LTE performance is usually the same on my LG V10 (which supports band 12) and my BLU Pure XL. I've had no problems (other than some minor bluetooth issues, that seem to have been resolved with the latest update.)
I came from a T-Mobile G4 I pre-ordered, so I had it a long time. Got the BLU in December. As far as I can tell, the Pure XL actually gets better and more consistent signal then the G4 did, I use about 40gb of data a month. Very consistent LTE signal in covered areas, and even rural signal is very good; I drive a lot.
I live in Dallas/Fort Worth area as well.
I have no issues with my Pure XL on T-Mobile. Since it doesn't have support for band 12, LTE coverage inside buildings can occasionally be spotty, but it just goes to regular 4G with full signal, no problem. I'm in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

Works great for me on T-Mobile and never have problems with getting LTE. I'll take some speed tests and report. I work about 30 miles from home so will take both areas and list them to see if that helps.
Springfield Illinois checking in, I use T mobile and works great... fast lte (30+ MB down, ive seen as high as 45 i think
Works great on T-mo for me in Denver.

Working for me. T-Mobile in sim 1. AT&T in sim 2.
Sent from my PURE XL using XDA-Developers mobile app
Works great in Livermore CA 94550.
Still want to switch to net 10 though, as I had previously.
Net10 Customer support is really bad......
The Pure XL works well in South FLorida ( WPB, Broward and Miami-Dade) on Tmobiles LTE network. Occasionally, I will drop down to 4G but 99% of the time, 4G LTE is available in my coverage area.
Down- 44Mbps UP - 27Mbps

Singal question

Hello guys. I had a T-Mobile Galaxy S7 but i sold it months ago so now i wanted to go back to the Galaxy so i got the international unlocked S7 G930F. I notice to start that it does not says 4GLte never only 4G. So i was thinking maybe the international name for 4GLte is just 4G so i let it pass but now i notice places where i had 3 or 4 bars 4gLte on the tmobile one, with international one i see 1 or 0 bard 3g or H+. Until now i have no call drop. But my question is. Is the T-Mobile better for signal to use on tmobile network or is the tmobile showing me fake signal while the international is showing me the real deal? I still have time to return it and get the tmobile one i just got it for the 8 core processor. Oh and i have a nexus 5x and he connect to LTE too were the G930F connects 4G and the nexus is unlocked too so i dont undestand.

Hi mate
4G or 4Glte they are the same , marketing mostly , some firmware show it as 4G other as 4GLTE or LTE all are the same
http://www.pcadvisor.co.uk/feature/mobile-phone/whats-difference-between-4g-lte-3605656/
Regarding signal strength the only way to know who is saying the true is with a signal meter , apps like PhoneInfo
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2709931
have a monitor where it shows you the signal strength in dbm and not just an image , with a dbm value you can truly compare

Thanks man. I used LTE Discovery and they both connected to LTE using band 4 and the strength is the same. They both turn to full GSM while on call and then back to LTE band 4 after call. So is marketing thanks.

That sounds about right , voice calls use GSM , unless your regions have VoLTE , LTE is used only for data . cool is all clear now
