Hello,
I'm on a Galaxy S2, using Cyanogenmod 12.1 with a Lollipop 5.1 android version, when i try to install the Gapps, with the recovery, it say there's no enought internal storage, so i use Odin to re-partition my sdcard with a PIT, so when i try again the gapps installation, there's no error messages, so i restart my phone, and I saw that my sdcard did not appear, and i think she's broked or not mounted... Please i need help, if you need more information, juste ask me.
Thanks

Hey guys. This is my first time installing anything on my phone so I'm going to sound very unexperienced but heres what ive done.
*Verizon Galaxy S3 i535. 4.1.2
*factory reset the phone to beign with (nothing important on it)
*got successful root
*downloaded cyanogenmod from cm website
*used goomanager for reboot
*created backup of internal storage, boot, and data
*wiped dalvik cache, system, data,cache
*went to install and tried to find cm files but were nowhere to be found.
So now I'm currently restoring to backup so i can reinstall the cm and gapps but I'm not sure if I am installing them correctly. Could somebody please inform me of the right way to get the files from my computer to my s3. Thanks so much.
Just a personal preference, but I move all my flashables to my SD card, in a unique folder, so they're easier to locate. Everything you've done sounds right... just save CM to your phone, then use a file manager to move the zip to your SD card. You should find the file easier on the SD card.
So, I have/had a N5 on stock 4.4.4 rom, rooted & Xposed installed with TWRP & a lollipop preview on MultiRom.
Was installing the new Lollipop .zip. In an act of hurried stupidity, I wiped my phone, including the internal storage.
Which for some reason also wiped my NANDROID backup. I thought that is not supposed to be wiped even when doing an internal storage wipe, BUT it did.
Now, all i have is TWRP on my phone with no rom installed.
I tried connecting my phone to the pc to see if i can just transfer the rom file onto the internal memory, but nothing shows up when i connect my phone to PC.
after some searching, I came to know via this threadhttp://forum.xda-developers.com/google-nexus-5/general/how-to-wipe-internal-storage-install-t2575150 that i can use the ADB sideload to install the rom, using TWRP.
The problem is, when i connect my phone to the PC, the phone doesn't show up in the device manager.
So i cannot install the drivers & android SDK itself.
So, How do i Install a rom onto it?
I have a PC & a MAC, so i can use either of the machines. But i don't have much technical knowledge about stuff, I did all the above modifications with the help of tutorials & guids. so ELI5 please.
Please help!
Thank you.

Storage = including sdcard. You didn't need to do that.
If you have the latest TWRP, it has an MTP mode in the mount menu so you can simply copy a ROM.zip to the storage. Try enabling it and see if it shows up in devmgr.

Thank you for the reply.
Turns out, the TWRP i have does have the OTG option under the mount option.
I downloaded the zip from an Android Police article. I bought the phone in india & hence had the KTU84Q build of 4.4.4, So i downloaded the file mentiond in that & tried flashing it via OTG. But it is failing to flash the rom.
it shows errors like: failed to mount, Error executing updater binary & then error flashing zip.
So do i need to do anything else before flashing it?
I'm downloading a 4.4.4 rom. will see if that works. Until then, please help if I need to do something else.
Thank you.
EDIT: I flashed CM11 & it worked perfectly. then tried flashing the 5.0 zip again, but that failed. So i guess something's wrong with the zip file.
Hello!
I am in a bad position.I deleted my android os while trying to root my phone(dont know why). I have installed twrp recovery and tried to flash custom rom but it couldnt be installed succesfully. I found a video guide about installing cm12 and while i was trying to follow the steps i realized that my internal storage is only 47MB , so i cant install anything... My device is htc one x+ with 64gb internal memory. I dont know what i am supposed to do to solve the memory problem.
Thank you in advance.

The internal storage partiton (/sdcard) is NOT where you install the ROM. The roms are installed on /system partiton.
If you don't need anything on your phone then just wipe /system /data and /cache to free more memory.
Now install the ROM again.

I am a complete newbie to rooting. I followed the kingoroot guidelines and rooted my Idea Aurus 3 phone. Root was success. The next step I did was downloading custom recovery and cyanogenmod ROM from here to my memory card
I flashed the custom recovery with flashify. The next step I did was wiping all data from the device by entering in to recovery mode (including cache and everything)
I was hoping I could simply install zip from sd card. But when i click on this option, I cannot find my sd card nor zip file (I checked most folders including emmc, etc, sd-ext and couldn't find SD card. The custom recovery name is Phylz touch 6
Now basically I have a phone without OS and all I can do is accessing custom recovery. I don't have a back up too
I can also see an error log "Cannot mount custom path"
I formatted the memory card to exFAT from exFAT 32 hoping that would work, it didn't help as well.
Also tried to connect phone to pc using USB (thinking I can move rom to system memory), but wouldn't detect phone memory
Now, is there any way to get this fixed? Any help would be awesome
Thanks!!!
