Hey friends recently there has been loads of ROM comping up but porting recoveries has become completely stale and sulking. No DEV has taken interest either. So I am opening a Project Thread where everyone can participate in getting latest and awesome recoveries to our mobile .
PROJECT AIM:
1. Porting Latest Recovery

WHO CAN JOIN : Any one can.. the recovery.img is open to all .. If you dont know how to edit recovery.img you can be really helpful by being a tester.
RULES:
1. Person who ports the basic recovery even if it is unstable will get the main credit for porting
2. Do not complain about the recovery.img if it is unstable. Please Report the BUG
3. If you are agreeing on being a tester , you are solely responsible for any damage to your mobile.
4. All people who help in solving bugs will be given credit
5. Please don't post a stable recovery under your name if you aren't the original porter. Request the original porter to post it any other forum or ask his/her permission if you want to do so.
6. All suggestions are welcome!

As most of you would know twrp supports heavy themeing and it is also very simple to theme. This is because it woks on a very simple .xml . You can start trying to theme by just changin the folder lood text clor etc..Maybe later we will get to xml theming.

Go to TWRP folder in root of your phone internal storage ( VVIMP) , if itz not here create one
Create a folder called theme in TWRP folder

No .. it is possible... Philz has added MTK support .. in his version 6... check out... I made mistake.. In that ketornel where the main bootimg should be same as recovery. Fstab boot.IMG... I am busy with M E ROM too.. !

CWM Touch for Ace was a bit old and outdated compared with others recoveries. Now it seems one of the most functional.
PhilZ Touch is a CWM Advanced Edition that adds all the features you could ever miss in CWM.
It is a well proven recovery for many phones,It also adds a full touch interface a completely configurable GUI.

This is an unofficial port of TWRP for Samsung Galaxy Pocket Plus. The original work code is done by @Alonso1398 but since he disconnected his updates for our device I'm carrying this project from now on

TWRP is an open source, community project that was originally formed to work on porting WiMAX to CM7 for the HTC EVO 4G. After their work on the EVO 4G they wanted to work on a project that would work on more devices than just the EVO 4G and they settled on working on a recovery. Today TWRP is the leading custom recovery for Android phones.
A custom recovery is used for installing custom software on your device. This custom software can include smaller modifications like rooting your device or even replacing the firmware of the device with a completely custom “ROM” like OmniROM

How to take a backup
1 - Open the terminal emulator.
3 - type "su" (without quotation marks).
3 - Grant root permission.
4 - Type "dd if =/dev/block/mmcblk0p6 of=/sdcard/recovery.img".
5 - Go to the root of the device's internal memory (sdcard) and copy that backup to a secure location.
How to install
- Installing as flashable zip
1 - Download the TWRP recovery.zip and place the root of the memory card.
2 - Reboot your custom recovery.
3 - Select install zip from SD / choose Zip.
4 - Choose TWRP recovery.zip.
5 - Then reboot to recovery.
6 - Enjoy TWRP installation mode.
OR
- Flashing as an image
1 - Download the file and place in in the root of the device's internal memory (sdcard).
2- Open the terminal emulator.
3 - Type "su".
4 - Type "dd if=/sdcard/recovery.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p6".
5 - Wait a few seconds, then restart the device and enter recovery mode and enjoy your TWRP.
OR
- Installing with ZIT flasher
1 - Download ZIT Flasher, recovery.fstab, TWRP recovery.img.
2 - Install and open the ZIT Flasher.
3 - Press in settings, click on recovery.fstab, look for the file and press it.
3 - click MAIN, press in BROWSER, search for "recovery.img".
4 - Restart the device and enter recovery mode and enjoy the TWRP.

This is just a TWRP recovery made for Symphony M1, flash it via Mobile Uncle tool, or Rashr, or flashify or any flashing tools or via adb push, your choice!

Installation:
Method 1:
1) Install Rashr from Playstore
2) Open it, select Team Win Recovery Project for Symphony M1
3) When prompted to go on recovery, select yes and voila you have installed TWRP on your phone
4) Enjoy!
Method 2:
1) Download Mobile Uncle tool
2) Select and flash recovery file from downloads
