What is the best battery for s4? I am buy aliex. What is your suggestion
I am sorry very bad english
I purchased the Anker 5200mAh battery a few months ago. Performance is great and I actually like the added bulk. I can easily get two days of battery with heavy use.
Anker 7800mAh. Best thing I bought so far. Makes your phone's weight similar to brick, but it's worth it. Lasts me 2 days.
My battery is not original may be it is 2600 mah may be ))) my screen time is 2 hour
What about the ZeroLemon ones? I've heard they're good

I've been using ZeroLemon 3000mAh batteries for the last year or so. They're great. They add a tiny bit of bulk to the back of the phone, no big deal. You should know that they malfunction and deteriorate after like one year so you have to replace it then ASAP.
zerolemon 7500mah user here for a year now and this beast battery is still performing well...
heavy gaming ( clash of clans ) it gives me 13-15hrs Screentime...
charge it when im sleeping...
Moderate usage no gaming data connection on ( when is need to check something ) off when not in use. roughly 2-2 1/2 days.
my s4 can act like a powerbank aswell by the use of an USB OTG..
Ye, it is very nice choise! I have bought it to

Back then i had 2 choices.
To buy a new original battery which i am not sure if im gonna recieve a legit original one or just another knockoff. ( same screentime 3-4hrs max )
Or to buy a zerolemon which will definitely give me a better screentime guaranteed
Using the ravpower 2800 mah battery. I don't think there's a huge difference, but it lasts longer than the OEM, obviously because it's newer, but Aldo because it has that extra 200mah.
Can't go wrong with this battery, and it's only $10, compared to the ridiculous prices they're charging for the OEM version. Also, way too many counterfeit batteries out there to order an OEM.

But not real happy w/ it so far seems to drain faster than my Anker. Will give it a few charge cycles first to see if it settle down. Batterey Stat only showed it was about 3800 mAh, which is to be expected.

Wanted to try this higher capacity ebay one, it seems to be working a bit better as it settles in.

Still not sure about this thing...seems to be drainer faster the more I use it. Was charged to 100% the other morning, just sitting on my desk no use, dropped to below 60% by noon. Contacted seller , who suggested draining it completely then recharge. Will give it a few more tries, and return if it doesn't improve.
Popped my Anker back in yesterday, thing works like a boss.

So you're saying that in testing through actual usage you've seen better results?
All conditions being the same, you've determined that the new battery gives you a longer amount of time between charges than the stock battery does?

yes, it last longer than the stock battery.
I bought three of these batteries, because they were like $1 each from China, and all of them are no different than the stock. Grab a tool and check the actual capacity and you will see that they are exactly the same spec as the OEM battery.
By the way, this is very old news. Did you search before posting? I didn't think so.

JK or not, he never did say it was an "internal" battery.
I bought one of these, isn't really 1600 but works good as a spare once my original dies completely.
I was thinking about buying a 1500 mah battery from ebay then I read a thread stating that the Inspire 4g stock battery lasted longer. The "Mah" rating is not industry regulated so basicly a manufacture can put 1600 mah on a battery thats 1100 mah without getting reprimanded or fined. So be carefull where you buy these batterys from and make sure the Co. is reputable first.

The technology itself is the cap. For this size this is the most juice you are going to get, unless they figure out a way to pack more energy cells into the same amount of space. Which they haven't. Don't be fooled. The battery that came with phone is the best available for this phone.

All that did is calibrate the battery. It's not going to hold any more juice than the space allows. It's physics. Until a new technology comes out...

I work as a firefighter/paramedic so I have long periods of time where I can't charge my phone...I've purchased several batteries from ebay, the classic white/black ones with charger for 11 bucks...i even got the extended one too...
But they all seem to die in 4 hours...the first couple days they last for a long time...the whole day...but as time goes on, they last less and less time.
I've tried several roms currently on thunderbird but think I am going to try ICS... but I think the batteries are the culprit. Any ideas?

Yeah...I just got my 3500MaH in today. Running videos back to back so as to run the battery down and charge to full. for $7.69 plus the $5 for Express Shipping, I jumped on it like a starving man jumps on a steak. Came with 28% charge...took about 2+ hrs to run it down til it shut itself off. Charging it as I type this comment.
[Edit 1] OK, I've fully recharged and calibrated the battery. One short call and a movie. Battery went from 100% down to 62% then 55% in less than 2 minutes. I rebooted and it suddenly dropped down to 15% within a 3hr period. Will try a 2nd recharge to see if it does any better.
[Edit 2] After fully recharging and calibrating a 2nd time, the battery drain is a lil better. Now 90% after being off charger for 4hrs 24 mins. Hopefully, it'll be even better after a 3rd recharge.

I also agree with the ET4G 1800mah OEM battery. They are 20% more MAH than stock and last almost exactly 20% longer.
When you say your phone dies in 4 hrs, is that 4 hrs of constant screen on time, or 4 hrs of idle/sitting around time? 4 hours of screen on is going to be pretty good for this phone and I could not get that much on the stock battery. With the 1800mah I could probably get a bit over 4 hours screen on time.
On the other hand if your phone is dying after 4 hours of mostly sitting idle, you've got a problem, most likely a software problem. Flash back to stock, fully charge the battery, and then give it a test and see what happens.

Im going to put a larger capacity battery in my Desire Z and I wanted some recommendations. Also, normal sizes (as in demensions); None that come with a additional cover to compensate for the normal size this making the phone bigger.

Hi,
I'll also went with the Anker. 2 Days without charging even when using custom roms... Definetely a good choice for this Price!
riahc3, if you ask for advice, don't argue about there being higher capacity batteries, if you want the mugen go get it, but if you asked advice in the first place then don't get annoyed when people don't give you the answer you want to hear. Sorry, that's just the way I see it.
If you're after numbers rather than advice, take both. Look at my screenies, yeah I know I'm a light user, under clocked and had a sneaky charge in between but this was on CM10.1 build 15 which supposedly has battery problems, and as you can see I listened to music for a couple of hours as well. Also everyone else here has gotten at least 2 days between charge with Ankers.

I am also thinking about buying a new battery but I think that it doesn't matter how much mAh of the battery has. I think that real question is how will be after 6 months of usage. Most of these aftermarket batteries are start good but after few weeks or months they become useless. So we need real user feedback. Is there anyone who uses any of the aftermarket battery more than few months?
I've started to use JellyBaby v1.5 ROM and I've decided to buy new battery instead of new device.

I don't know about battery life of iPhone 5, S3, Note2, etc but I think that under normal circumstances battery life of our phones should be 2 days.
Do you use home-screen widget or lock screen widget? Does they have any effect on battery life?
aftermarket battery? you're better off getting a oem, a lot of aftermarkets don't live up to the levels they advertise.

Will it be an issue during charge ??
CBS, using a bigger battery than stock is fine. I've used 7-8 and4oid phones with extended batteries and have never had an issue. they will however take longer to charge due to the increased size.
I used to use a zerolemon 7500 mah battery in my galaxy s3. It was great. Took twice the time to charge but well worth it. Only plug it in to charge at night.

No problem. Sounds like a 7500 mah battery sounds like it will suit your needs. Internet, gaming, streaming movies and music will take it's toll on even the best batteries. A 7500 mah battery will last me all day with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and gps all day for work. The average user will get 1-3 days depending on use. With the right rom and kernel can do wonders.

Glad I could help. I haven't used the NFC on my s3 or my s4. I tried playing with it but it's not a need. You guys will be happy to know if you buy a wireless charging receiver it will fit under the stock battery cover as well with the zl 3000 mah battery. I love wireless charging. No more laying in bed and reaching around on the floor in the dark trying to find the cord for my phone.
How are you guys feeling about this battery? I decided to try it out, back when I had the GS3 I bought one of those 9000mah batteries and it was an extremely rare day that I went below 50% battery, so I went for the 6000mah anker battery here since it is cheaper.
I definitely feel like it has extended life, but it feels like it's only about 50% better as opposed to 100% longer life. I can usually make it to the end of the day now, whereas before I was putting it on the charger when I'd get home from work every day.
It all depends on the use of the phone. I know people that make 3 days use with Zerolemon and some make 18 hrs.

I bought the 2 ankar batteries that a rotate with the OEM. they are very good and worth the money.
only complaint would be there is a plastic piece on the bottem of the battery that locks it into place. I left it in my car a couple time and it melted and fell off. so now on one of the batterys it fits loose and sometime makes my phone reboot from being knocked around. but i added some tape to the bottem and it fixed the lock and i dont have the problem anymore. it only happened with one of the batteries.
is the battery life better on the anker one? than the original samsung battery

seems comparable, I don't use the stock battery that much since I can quick charge or swap for a full charged (using the external charger included with the 2 pack)

I've had pretty good results. I went 2 days 6 hrs with 7:15 screen on, 20 hrs wifi, 34 hrs 4g screen on 50-60% brightness
i'll be posting a thread in a bit on it.
I posted (at length) on my experience with the 3220mah battery here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=60356709&postcount=7
Hope that helps
I just got the Anker 3220 last week & so far it does seem to do a little bit better than the stock battery. Not by much, but I've definitely noticed that I don't need to put on on the charger as much.
