Could you guys please post some tips when migrating from note 4 to note 5. I'm thinking of the best way to bring over my apps, documents and music. Contacts obviously carry over with google. No need for photo/video transfer.

Verizon cloud or Samsung smart switch. Btw, apps are also transferred via google. So you've just got docs and music. Buy yourself a $5 otg usb and transfer them manually.

I went from the DE Note 4 to the Note 5, and used Helium. Some apps aren't able to be backed up, but for the most part, Everything gets moved over.
Here's an XDA video link.

I'm looking for a way to have my phone and tablet "be as one" where it has the same apps and information. This is not limited to the Note 2 and Note 10.1. I have a Nexus 4 and Nexus 7 as well. I use mostly the cloud heavy apps such as dropbox, and google drive to keep information in sync.
Will titanium backup be my best bet? Back up on one device and restore on another. Google play does a decent job restoring all apps at start but I download on one wont be downloaded another (with same google account?)
All and any input is appreciated. What are you guys doing with multiple devices? Thanks!

I linked up my Galaxy S5 to my Galaxy note pro 12.2 using SideSync 3.0 and it works great being able to use everything on my tablet from my phone. But I cant transfer pics or files using a drag and drop like the instructions explain. Any advice?
Use Dropbox or another cloud tool... Dropbox and Google+ canautomatically upload pictures, i.e. backup your stuff too... I hate tools that limit themselves to specific Samsung (or other) devices...
Just my opinion ?

Are the files going to&from a MicroSD?

I just recently purchased a Nexus 5 online and it came pre loaded with Android M, which I was excited for. However with me using the camera a lot, Android M is not for me. (Camera pictures flipping, app crashing, etc.)
Can someone provide a stock lollipop ROM, or let me know if there is a way to downgrade and keep stock? I am all for rooting and flashing, but with Nexus devices it's just made for stock OS.
A flashablr tar.md5 file would be preferred because I like to use Odin, but otherwise a .zip will work too.
Thanks!

Yes, I dropped my galaxy s5 and there was no external damage, but the drop damaged the internal sound card. So all audio was heavily static.
I used a website called swappa.com to buy my new phone.

I paid $225 for a Mint condition Nexus 5. Came with box, original cables, still had plastic on the camera and screen. Came with 2 cases too. Not to mention 1 day shipping.

Just a tip for all who might be interested.
I was pretty stressed about losing my snotes from my note3.
I simply copied them to my Google Drive and then downloaded them onto my new note 5.
Then grabbed a file manager from the play store (ES File Explorer) and moved them to the system folder called "snote data'
Then opened up sNote and they automatically imported.
Happy camper.
Do you back up to Evernote as well? I'd be interested in seeing if some of my old notes from when I had the Note 4 would populate on my phone when I get it.

No, i never used Evernote. i was reading forums where sNotes from Note 2 were incompatible with Note 3, but since my Note 3 synced sNotes no problem to the new 5, i'd imaging you wouldn't have any issues coming from a Note 4.
Why couldnt you just use Samsung Smart Switch to sync/send S note from note 3 to note 5?

I didn't even realize such an app existed until I read about it in the manuals that came with note5

You can also use your samsung account. I have had all my snotes and scrapbook items follow me no problem from note 2 - note 3 - note 4 and now note 5. Also any change that is made automatically updates any other device like a samsung tablet as well.

Hey you should check out the video of the 10 hidden features of the Note 5, I believe I saw a trick in it on how to get more features added to the s note app
Anyone able to recover old photos from the Note 4 I forgot what the program was that sync with Google account.
Try photos. It's by Google I believe, that's what has been backing up my pics for years. I hadn't even noticed for the longest time.
Thanks they were waiting on me ?
