[Completed] dual boot tablet Android 4.4.4 brocken - XDA Assist

Hello,
I have a jumper EZpad mini 2, purchased in China. For 120 €. Actually, everything was nice only the Android 4.4.4 had no Play Store and a few angry Chinese apps. After i got root the chinese apps were no problem any more. But i tried very much thinks to get the play store running .... at the end I unfortunately made the mistake of copy files that were intended for another tablet, directly into the system directory via root explorer. Since this i always get "Setup assistant" (or is it setupt wizard in english?) has been closed and googleserviceframwork has been closed. (all the time.. so again again and again) So I tried a factory reset. Even though I was almost clear that it will not help. Now i cant pass the beginning setup where you can chose your language and wifi because i still get the Setup assisatant failure.
But I tried to reinstall the Google Service Framework and the Setup Wizard with the ADB-tools but he wallways brings:
Failure [INSTALL_FAILED_OLDER_SDK]
When I go into recovery mode I have the option to load an update by ADB or internal memory.. I also have the possibility to get in a mode where he waits for fastboot commands...
Unfortunatly Jumper provides not roms or updates. It was even hard to get the USB-drivers for that Tablet
How can i fix my android problems?
Is there a universal CWM which also runs on that tablet without destroying the windows 10 funktion? Unfortunately, I've found so far no specific.
Can I repair the Setup Wizard and the framework still somehow?
Here are the key figures for the tablet:
Dual Boot Win 10 and Adroid 4.4.4
CPU: Intel Atom Baytrail T Z3735F Quad-Core Processor
Screen resolution: 1920 x 1200 (16:10)
RAM: 2GB, DDR3L
ROM: 64GB
Best regards
Prakti

Starting to think I have made the wrong choice buying one of these, no matter how hard I search I cannot find any Infomation on how to root this.
It is a great tablet but just can't root it
OK I have managed to root it this is how I did it
I came across this post for rooting Rockchip 3066 tablets.
How to Root Teclast A10 Dual-core
The tool is all in Chinese but you don't need to read whats happening anyway. The tablet reboots itself twice. After the first reboot I had to hard reset.
These are the steps.
Install app on Windows (7Pro x64)
turn developer mode on device (Sumvision Cyclone Titan 9.7", Rockchip 3066, Mali400, Android 4.0.4)
plug the device in and wait for the tool to recognize it
click the button next to the only english word on the app 'ROOT'
wait a minute or two and the device reboots
i had to hard reset here
turn on device again
after a minute the tablet rebooted
walla, Rooted rockchip 3066 device.

I have managed to root my tablet (natpc x210) using this method but this is the way had to do it, to get my laptop win xp 32bit to see the tablet i had to install ADB Driver this is a setup file then I attached the laptop put the tablet in usb debug mode, then I started the software and it automatically sees the tablet, then just click root wait for it to finish and that is it rooted,
Worked a treat for me

OK now I have managed to root the natpc x210, I would like to edit the build prop to make it think it is a Samsung Galaxy or Nexus 7 to give me more options from the market.
I have done a lot of searching but still not sure what to edit as I don't want to brick the tablet, I have installed build prop editor but could someone please tell what to change in the build prop.
Cheers

[Q] Toshiba Excite Go AT7-C8 - how to install Linux?

Hi,
I hope this is the right place for my question.
I just bought the Toshiba Excite Go (AT7-C8) which has an Intel x86 processor and runs Android 4.4.2 (KitKat).
(Unfortunately I am not allowed to provide the link to the product page as a link, here a few specs:
Processor*Intel® Atom® Processor Z3735G (2MB Cache, Up to 1.83GHz)
Memory1GB (on board)
Storage*8GB eMMC
)
Since it has an x86 processor I was hoping I can install somehow a Linux system on this tablet. I would like to run some home automation applications (EIBD, Linknx and openHab) which I currently run on a Geode LX 800 system. I think this here is much more powerfull with nearly the same power consumption.
Unfortunately I have no idea how to do a Linux installation on such a Android based system. Did anyone already try this and may have a small tuturial?
Thanks a lot,
Ron
Nobody has an idea or hint?
Was someone able to get root access to this tablet?
I can't even move any app to the SD card.
I start to hate this tablet, as many applications are not available for it and I can't get a Linux system set up either ...
I would appriciate any suggestion.

[Completed] Help me break my Q90 9 inch Allwinner A23 Dual Core rubbish tablet

Hello all, thanks in advance for your help! I have a problem and am looking for some advice as I have tried everything I can think of.
I own this cruddy generic tablet which somehow became riddled with malware and I recently realised after a factory reset that the malware is actually pre-installed. I'm pretty sure I know what the offending applications are (one of them is even named 'popup' - well cheeky) but I am unable to remove or disable them, including through 3rd party software like AVG and Avast.
I think I need to root it so I can either get rid of the malware or install a custom rom. However all the root applications which I install on the tablet fail; when I get error messages they're usually to the effect that the tablet is not vulnerable to a given exploit. Most of the PC (Windows 10) applications I have installed have failed to recognise the tablet which suggests a problem with drivers.
I have tried these things:
- connected to the device (mass storage mode) and browsed the tablet successfully
- verified that debug mode is enabled
- installed generic google adb drivers
- uninstalled those and other drivers, then installed pda.net, allowed it to install drivers, connected successfully using pda, KingRoot etc still failed to connect.
There is one thing that sort of worked. OneClickRoot failed to connect initially (same as the others) but seemed to connect successfully when I selected the device manually (which I found by plugging in the build #).. However it's not possible to verify because it cost $40 which is probably just throwing good $ after bad and anyway I'm not willing to admit defeat yet!
Here is the spec:
Model #: Q90
9 inch
Allwinner A23 Dual Core
Android 4.2
8GB
Build #: phpq23083121891
Thanks again in advance for your help!

[Completed] How to create dual boot android / win10 tablet (intel cpu)

So recently I got this cheap android 5.1.1 tablet with the intel cpu.
So I am into this kind of stuff with rooting devices trying different methods/programs.(NOT PROFESSIONAL)
Then I wondered can I somehow make this dualboot win10 and android at the same time...
because I did tried like 10 root aplications and it didnt work eventually so I was pissed of really bad.
After researching for 2 hours on google and ending up with crapware and screen sharers.
Hope someone here help me..
Device information: Casper VIA_S7, android 5.1.1(32 bit) CPU: x86 64 bit (SSSE3)
By the way is it possible to run one of the OS's from micro sd because of the low storage available on the device *16GB*
*If needed i can provide the detailed information of the device or other kinds*
Hi !
Dual boot isn`t as simple as it looks , it needs to be developed for your device but as I have tried to search , your device isn`t listed here on xda
You can ask here where maybe other users with a similar device can provide more feedback !
Good luck !
