Hi,
I 've got one Sensation from Malaysia, after a week the official rom update warning come up to the phone, I confirmed it, but after the update phone is stunt at the beginning green HTc logo.
I had the exact same problem with my Desire HD and I had solved it with gold card then I had installed a new stock rom with gold car.
However, as far as i see there is no specific gold card method for Sensation and I am really stuck right now.
I would appreciate anyone who has an adive on this.
Thanks in advance....
seems like a bad download..
you can try to run the RUU of your device if its available
IS there anyone who can help me on this, i really can not find a solution, i tried to flash the rom however it gives the identity error.
I would really appreciate if you have some comments.
Regards
My phone also can't install an official update too, but it because of my phone is already S-Off.
I did not try S 0ff or any other option, but I do not know wheter I can do it while I am only access to the bootloader menu.
I am not obsessed with the official I can also try cooked roms however I just request an advice how I should move forward at this stage.
I only want to get the phone back to the working condition ...
I would really appreciate if any expert can comment on that.
Thanks in advance.
Regards.
As long you did not root your phone, then just send it back for warranty claim.

Thanks for your comment, but unfortunately the phone bought from abroad.
Warranty is not valid in my country.
I had the exact same problem with my DEsire HD and had solved with stock rom & gold card combination.
However there is no gold card for Sensation...
Hello guys,i really do need some help from anyone who has been able to reflash over a faulty ROM firmware on their android phone.
I own a HTC Desire Z which is fully unlocked to ALL networks here in the UK.My problem with my phone is that the letters N & J on my on-screen touch pad don't work when holding the phone up right to text but they work when i tilt the phone horizontle the 2x letters work no problem. The slide out keypad works no problem as well.
I phoned HTC UK Support and the guy told me that it's a fault or problem to do with the ROM firmware and it needs reflashing,i went to my local phone repair shop and the guy verified this but told me that he doesn't do the ROM reflashing anymore.
I've never attempted any phone modding or rooting on HTC and Android devices although when i had the iphone 4s i successfully jailbreaked it using the relevant pc software.
Which software do i need to be able to reflash my phones ROM firmware please guys and is there a step by step tutorial i can follow that will make it as easy as possible ?
Thank so much fellas
Hi all,
Was wondering if anyone can give me some advice!
I desperately need 4.3 jelly bean on my htc one sv, as I need to use the low energy bluetooth.
Currently with the help of the forum ive managed to unlock my phone through the dev centre, ive flashed the recovery with twrp and installed superSu. But I have not seen any posts regarding 4.3 jelly bean in the htc one sv threads.
My question is would the 4.3 jb for the htc one work on the htc one sv - if yes what should i look for to know the right file
Or is there any other way for me to get the low energy bluetooth runnin on my phone
heres my phone deets
k2-ul pvt ship s-on rl
hboot-2.21 000
os-3.11.61.10
jb 4.2.2
Much thanks in advance if anyone can give me any assistance
@devinell
There is currently no 4.3 Rom available for the HTC One SV. As for using the one from HTC One, no, not directly as their specs are much different from ours. You would need to port it, as well as work on the kernel.
However, as it stands right now, 4.4 with Sense 5.5 is due for arrival sometime between March and April.

Assuming one has the experience and expertise or even the will to learn, porting is possible. But its all trial and errors along the way as you go about debugging any possible issues so that whatever is actually being ported gets resolved and works properly. Requires knowledge, patience, and free time.

When ive finished Uni its something I will indeed get into as time is a factor, but for now I think my only escape plan is to put kit kat on my old htc desire and use that for development instead -
Thanks for all you advice amigo
Hi Nerds,
I just get my new HTC One ME from China and I wonder that there is still no specific way to root it. The hardware is allmost from the M9 Plus. You can compare the ME to M9+ (gsm arena website) sorry not aviable to post links yet ^^. the difference between this two devices is, the ME got no aluminium case and there is no 2nd Camera on the back side. And unfortunately no USB 3.0. but the same chipset cpu and gpu.
my question is, can I root it with the common HTC ONE M9 PLUS files. I really dont want to brick it, so i better ask =)
thanks!

Well, i think there's already a recovery for m9ew, but in chinese:
http://bbs.mgyun.com/thread-44535-1-1.html
someone here with good Chinese might help you to download it and upload it to somewhere easier to access.
It may be tho' in Chinese inside TWRP so you'll need a dictionary possibly. Or you can try extract it with https://github.com/xiaolu/mkbootimg_tools and replace the ui portrait resources with english inside twres, then repack.
And to answer the question: I wouldn't try it with m9pw (m9+) recovery, very high chance of failure, at least not without a full RUU zip to make sure you can restore phone to stock.

Yes,the hardware of ME is almost same as M9+. But don't use the same recovery for it only if you already have a RUU.
Bellow is a english version recovery for ME from http://bbs.gfan.com/android-8014295-1-1.html
download:http://pan.baidu.com/s/1kTs0fNh
password:8ft8
and then you could flash root file.
Reminder:
1. You’d better have a RUU .
2. flash the recovery and initially go to the recovery will break your system from OTA. If you would, try to repack it.

Unless you have a unmodified system image backup, you won't apply OTA from original hTC update. If you can get the OTA file somewhere and extract the firmware. Flash it manually and follow the ROM chef to flash custom ROM.
I didn't find out any custom ROM released on the above website. You need to join their QQ group to get one and I don't have a QQ account ( china mobile phone number). I am happy there was a XDA forum to share information for M9+.
hello, i have m9ew with radio 1405. can anyone guide me into installing GAPPS ?
I got mine from HK so it came with gapps. where did you find yours in China? i could not find anyone who had the ME in China. With regards to Gapps, did your phone come with HTC market? if so u can usually get gapps directly from there. its an app called gms or gsm, i cant remember exactly. then you run that app and it will install gapps automatically, just follow the onscreen instructions. That was the case with my M7 dual sim.
any updates on this? solutions?

First of all thanks for prompt reply, I can't read Chinese myself so I didn't dare too but I unlocked the bootloader officially in case I figure out root method.
The phone is doing great though I miss rooting tools but I face a serious issue which is overheating which is so frustrating for me.
It makes it lagging and slow and I have to let it cool down to regain its full power
