[Q] Rooted Nexus 5 - 4.4.3 Cannot apply system update

System update cannot be applied:
1) download system update
2) tap reboot and install
3) start installation
4) got error message "Error!" after 5 seconds
/system/bin/app_process has unexpected contents
E:Error in /cache/blablablanumbershere.signed-hummerhead-KTU84M-from-KOT59H.d174d546.zip
Status 7
1) Tried to wipe cache data
2) Then install ADB update - not success after an hour
Did somebody have the same problem?

Install this from the play store
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tassadar.multirommgr
Use it ONLY to install the recovery at this stage.
After it's done reboot, make sure you're still rooted.
Apply update as per normal, should work with this new recovery .

If you're rooted, do not bother wasting time with OTA updates
Just download the full rooted stock ROM in android development and flash it without wipe from recovery.
It's actually fewer steps anyway.
OTA = revert system changes and/or kernel, reboot into recovery, flash the OTA , boot to bootloader, connect to pc, fastboot flash recovery, reboot into recovery, flash supersu.
Rooted stock = reboot into recovery, flash the ROM.
No brainer really. Flashing an OTA if rooted is a fool's errand.

[Q] Update failed B122SP06_B123SP03

Hi,
I'm trying to update my MT7-TL10 with the OTA update called "B122SP06_B123SP03". When the download is finished, the phone reboot into recovery and tries to install the update but fails after some seconds.
What I already did:
Flash original recovery
Unroot
Factory reset
Update with SD card: fail
Update with HiSuite: fail
What may be related with update failure:
I installed the xposed module and tried to change build.prop file some weeks ago.
The original recovery is not the right one maybe, how to know?
The current ROM is MT7-TL10V100R001CHNC00B122SP06

HKC P776A Android Tablet Stuck in some sort of CWM/TWRP Boot Loop

Ok I have posted a thread on this before but there was nothing useful on it so I am re-posting.
So I have a HKC P776A android tablet (NOT HTC, IT IS HKC) I got it rooted like three years ago and went to install a update for Supersu and I pressed the CWM/TWRP update mode, now my phone is in a boot loop maybe a CWM/TWRP but !!! I CANNOT ACCESS ANY TYPE OF RECOVERY MENU NOR THE OS!!! so please don't tell me to go into recovery mode, HBoot mode, or connect it to my PC I have already tried and it doesn't work and I don't have CWM/TWRP installed. When I try to put it in HBoot it comes up saying

Finding Update Package...
Opening Update Package...
Verifying Update Package...
Installing Package...
Then it reboot and nothing happens I dont even know what it is trying to install maybe the CWM but I don't know exactly. I have finally found a stock ROM Update package and I put it on the SDcard (EXTERNAL STORAGE) but it didn't install. The update package is a .img file so maybe that is the issue but its the only file for it I have found so...
Also I am wondering if I could get a CWM .img file and put it on the SDcard (EXTERNAL STORAGE) it would install the CWM and it would work but thats just a theory so if you know what version of CWM my tablet uses please let me know or post a link.

Error when installing incremental update

Hi, I tried to update my moms OPO but when I downloaded it through settings and after reboot and some time it showed only - error word and that's all. Then I tried to use cyanogen update tracker to download the zip of the update and then update it through recovery. When I went to the recovery and started the update after some time it showed me e: failed to load /sideload/package.zip and there's was something more but I don't remember what.

[Q] Cannot flash ROM to MID GS-703 tablet

Hello everybody.
I have a 7" android tablet from 2014.
Model: MID GS-703
board id: EM_M63_V1.1
CPU: AML8726-MXS (amlogic)
DDR: 1GB
NAND FLASH: 8GB
The device is soft bricked. I can boot it.
First logo appears, then second... and it just stays like this.
I can boot into the Android system recovery <3e>
I can wipe Cache and Media but whenever I try to wipe data/factory reset, it gets stuck on "Formatting /data..."
I have tried installing some of the firmwares proposed here and there from other sources, without success:
EM63_TF_Update_20140507
EM63 Upgrade Firmware 2014-05-19
EM63 Upgrade Firmware 2014-12-10
I have tried installing them via an SD-card and via ADB sideload.
It returns the following message
"Finding update package...
Opening update package...
Verifying update package...
Installation aborted."
Have I missed something? What can be causing it to abort? Thank you in advance for your help
