I've rooted my htc one x and after lots of struggling with custom ROM i have decided to change it to stock one. still my 3G data network doesn't work, 2g network does work. i am wondering is it the problem with my operator or my baseband. please help me out.

I am suddenly facing issue with N/W in SL.
I am in India and have an airtel prepaid connection and for the past 3 days, though my phone shows n/w coverage, i am not able to make calls.
Moreover if someone is tryin to call, even they get not reachable message.
After some time, i then get an SMS that i had a missed call from so and so numbers.
I am not sure why it could have happened. I have tried CM 9 A12 and CM 10 A2 in my phone over the last few months but i am currently back to stock DDLF2(rooted).

Please try the latest rom 10.1 alpha 7 and see if issue persists.

Will do that, but the problem is i doubt that would help. Can it be an issue with the modem of the rom?
Hi All, I have recently updated to lollipop 5.1 and since then don't have 4G access on my Moto G. I am on pay monthly O2 (UK) and they said to me that on their side everything seems OK. I can still use WiFi when at home. Not familiar with (smart)phones. Any help would be much appreciated, Thanks.

Hi every one plz help me my set Lg G2d800 not support 3g only 2g is working ... First it was kitkat 4.4.2 no i did upgrade it lollipop but its problem didn't solve plz help me what i do for this probalam

4g is the same as 3g, and 4g LTE is the same as 4g.
Hi I have a samsung galaxy s6(sm-G920F) on 5.1.1 non rooted, the problem i am facing is that the lte stopped working without any reason, i didnt drop it neither i updated anything it just stopped working now i only see the E sign on the network bar, i couldn't find any answer for this so any help is appreciated

But it shows LTe sign on top when i insert the simcard in some other mobile

Why did you create 2 threads for the same issue?
Anyways, what data network mode did you select? It should be LTE/WCDMA/GSM Auto connect.

Hey there.i m sure these senior members will help u out on this one.i had a similar problem after updating to os 5.1.1 and using it for some time on my s6 the 4g LTE icon suddenly disappeared and never came back.I tried using 3g i could not even get the 3g icon.All i could get was the E or Edge icon when turned on the mobile data.I made sure there's nothing wrong with my network.Both of my sims are working fine with 4g and 3g on another handset.I hv been using it at the same place.Tried to search this issue on internet but with no luck.I hope u ppl.help me and this guy out.I hv tried different settings.All of my settings are same as in my other handset.No issue with the settings or the firmware.I m totally blank now what to do.Kindly help me on this one.Could not find a better place to put my question.Any technical help would be really appreciated.

Maybe you can flash your old radio from previous rom where LTE works? Did you try flashing roms before it happened?

I tried flashing the same rom 5.1.1 but no luck :/
Ite was working on the same rom as i didnt updated or did anything
Suddenly it disappeared :/
The same problem mentioned above by john_sparrow
As i cant downgrade from 5.1.1
