[Completed] Please direct me to the right link for Samsung Galaxy S4 SCH-1545 help - XDA Assist

My phone is a recently rooted stock Lollipop 5.0 that is frozen on a screen that says "Downloading... Do Not Turn Off Target!!" after I tried to install TWRP
I don't know how to use the backup that's on the SD card (Titanium).

Hello,
Welcome to XDA.
If you used Odin and you successfully flashed the TWRP file and you got the green pass, pull the battery and then put it back, hold volume up+home+power buttons and it should boot to recovery.
If you flashed TWRP by another method than Odin and it booted to download mode instead of TWRP when you tried booting to recovery, make sure you were holding the correct buttons as stated above to boot to recovery, if you hold volume down instead of volume up it will boot to download mode instead of recovery.

[Q] Samsung galaxy Gio S5660 Will Not Enter Recovery

Hi all,
I am trying to put cyanogenmod 9 on my Samsung Galaxy Gio. Following these instructions found here
Download: px-CWM-v2.zip
Place it on root of your sdcard
reboot to recovery mode
install this cwm from recovery
results in me not being able to boot into recovery (after following the above instructions). The phone said that the installation was successful.
When I try to boot into recovery all I get is a black screen with the Samsung logo on it. If I try to turn it off it just goes into a boot loop. So I am unable to continue with the next part of the installation process.
If I remove the battery and put it back in then power on normally, the phone boots and runs normally.
Current OS: Froyo 2.2.1 XXKB9 (Baseband XKB8).
Model: GT-S5660
Rooted: Yes (used SuperOneClick).
Can anyone tell me what has happened and how I can fix it?
Thanks for your time.
Best Regards
Bidski
Just an update.
I can still get into download mode (hold vol -, home, and power button simultaneously until yellow "downloading..." appears on screen) and I can also get into emergengy downloand mode (hold vol -, vol +, home, and power button simultaneously until sansumg logo and "Emergency Dload" appear on the screen).
But I still cannot access recovery mode (hold home and power simultaneously).
Using Odin (version 4.42 I believe) and the download mode I can re-flash the original stock ROM and this allows recovery mode to work again as normal. However, attempting the steps that I mentioned in my first post lead to the same result.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Best Regards

OK, I have gingerbread flashed on to my galaxy gio. All seems good and I managed to get recovery flashed and have done a backup. Recovery seems to work fine too. I used a different version of recovery that I found on this site that says it worked for rfs and ext4 partitions (trying to find this post again ).
My question now is do I need to flash an ext4 converter before I flash cm9?
Best Regards

Got recovery from this post.
I also downloaded the ext4 formatter from that post, but have not used it yet as I am not sure I need to or not.

Download original stock rom from http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/?page=3&t=1&o=1&m=GT-S5660&r=4#regiona
Boot into download mode (hold vol -, home, and power button simultaneously until yellow "downloading..." appears on screen).
Connect Odin, load the original stock ROM into Odin and flash.
Odin should reboot your phone once it has finished its business.
Good luck.

I used samsung kies to recovery it back turned out my phone can't be on now. Odin can't detect my phone too.
I suggest to flash an Original Firmware, ROOT it, Have CWM (Clockwork Mod) installed and proceed with your custom ROM installation

[Completed] [Q] ironically bricked S5 mini

I bricked my phone when installing custom Rom. after installing the CM mod, I tried to install the TWRP recovery, it asked to reboot phone but after it shut down it haven't ever turned on again. Now I cant enter recovery mod since the factory recovery is missing and the new one didn't install completely. when I do a normal boot my phone automatically tries to enter the recovery mode, but then shows "could not do a normal boot; odin mode..........udc start. and is stuck on "downloading....do not turn off target..." any help?
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. You're going to have to flash the stock firmware with Odin and return your device to stock. Start here, http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...08-2013-odin-3-09-odin-1-85-versions-t2189539. And if you have further questions see your device's specific forum here, http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s5-mini

[Completed] How to unbrick phone (soft brick) mtk6752? (NO RECOVERY)

Was trying to flash a custom recovery (cmw) using mtk dd tool, adb as I have seen from the tutorial. I followed the instructions but when my device restarted it goes into bootloop. Pressed the power button+volume up it takes me to the screen where i will choose recovery, fast boot or normal. When I selected the recovery it doesn't into it and just power offs instead same as to fastboot. Normal reboot just takes me to bootloop again.
Device: Meetu m11(I guess) but when i bought it its Lenovo
Aliyun OS
MTK6752
Android 4.4
How will I get past the bootloop? Also I can't find any stock rrecovery . I can't flash anything. Hope you can help me.
Thanks!

[Completed] how to repair j700h

I had flash custom boot logo.....and when I turn on the phone its vibrate but not show. Boot logo and not booting ...after i flash stock ROM but its not showing boot logo nather booting what should I do please help and reply
Hi there and welcome to Assist,
Download the stock firmware for your J700H from sammobile and flash via Odin. All should be well afterwards.
If your phone still gets into a bootloop, boot to recovery and wipe cache partition.
To enter recovery mode on your device, follow these steps:
1.If your phone is on, turn it off.
2.Press and hold the Volume up button, the Power button and Home button at the same time until you see the Samsung logo, and then release.
3. navigate with volume buttons and select with Power button
