[Completed] Help please, new about -400€ Phone - XDA Assist

So I recently decided to buy a new phone cause my nexus 5 is getting a bit sluggish and its screen is cracked. I was going to buy the 5x but then I realised it cost 480€ in Europe. Which is a bit too much. So I'm looking for a about 400€ phone which is not ugly , is quick and can be rooted stock Android is preferred. So basically a nexus phonenbut not a nexus phone. Thanks sorry for my bad english

Help choosing device

Hello all. I am unsure if this question belongs in this sub-forum. I have been through the QUESTIONS DO NOT BELONG IN GENERAL post, but i think this is not a Q&A.
So the reason i have this question is that im at a standstill. I was set to buy the Nexus 6, but the size and price made me change my decision.
Anyway, now i have rethink and im undecided between the Nexus 5 and the Oneplus one. The main reason im undecided is related to roms and software.
By looking at the N5 sub-forum here in XDA i see thousands of posts when compared to the OPO. I am worried that even though being a bit less heavy spec-wise the N5 might keep more developers working on it then on the OPO. Therefore more roms and software for the future.
Related to hardware i know the opo has better specs. Rounding up the HW differences what makes me undecided between the two is the RAM and the better battery life.
So iam currently stuck between these two phones and ill have to make a decision soon, i will be buying one of these in about two weeks.
Thank you for everyones help.
Best regards
you can go for samsung note 4 it`s so good
personally, between those two, I'd go with the Nexus 5 (just barely) for the exact reason you said: dev support.
Now if it was Nexus 6 and Oneplus One, I'd go Oneplus no question because of the price difference yet great specs on the One.
not matter what ,if i want to buy a new phone ,i will buy the latest
model for certain brand,if the latest model cannot satisfy my needs with their
price or size ,i will go for the latest model of other brand .that is my suggestion,
guessing samsung latest model is good .

The One Plus One is an exceptionally good piece of kit for the price and runs cyanogenmod which is a fantastic OS
Hello everyone and thank you for the replies.
I have decided to go with the One, i have been going through lots of forum posts lately reading from persons who changed from N5 to One, and in the bigger picture most ppl are calling it a good decision and a improvement.
It seems to me that the N5 is really a good phone, and imo its a better looking phone then the One, but following all my readings, the screen and the Ram in the One make a solid improvement over the N5.
Regarding my biggest concern, the software devs, well im just going to have faith in the One community. The device already runs one of the most popular roms and i have recently found out that the One is a supported phone for the franco kernel.
All in all i think im doing a good decision.
Right now im crazily sourcing funds to buy it, while i wait for my invite...
Choose OnePlus , it's a monster .
I personally like the Stock Interface more than custom UI's .

[Completed] Deciding on a new phone...

Hey folks,
As of now I'm a Nexus 5 user and it's been the best mobile phone experience I've had in years. I'm switching to a new carrier with the option of an upgrade and checking out if there's any better options out there or if I should stick with my device. I was looking into Nexus 6/6P but that's been a mixed bag, so not entirely sure. I will not consider moving to Apple, and I do like getting my updates straight from Google. I'd consider getting a device that I can easily unlock and flash a ROM (unlocked bootloader only). Any suggestions? The LG devices seem to be getting really good reviews, but I'd like to hear some real world reviews on this other than a website person using it for 2 days.

[Completed] Asking for a guidance to find the true path of android.

I don't know where I should post this, so I came here.
I'm a note 5 owner, but I love pure android more than any other UI *including crappy touchshiz*.
I wanted the Nexus 6P originally, sadly, it wasn't available locally at first place, but now, it is.
Don't be surprise,locally, Note 5 32GB costs ~530$ while nexus 6P 64GB ~ 570$.
I have to sell my used note 5 and pay additional ~150$ in order to get the 6P.
I'm really confused, is the 6P worthy to do so?
*I wish that I can find a user of both phones who can give me some advice* :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying:

switching from the nexus to a new mobile

hey guys i got my nexus on the first day and was to date one of the best smartphones i ever had. but its also my third nexus because i had to send it to google because every time the power button glitched and kept it in a bootloop. so i wanted to look for a new smartphone which is almost like the nexus 5. i wanted to spend about 300€ so i ve looked up a huawei p8 lite, one plus x and the zuk z1. but i dont know which one they all seem pretty solid. so i'm asking for your help now =)
This is the N5 forum, not the "What's my next phone?" forum.
Here is a dedicated thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1620179
oh didn't know there was a thread for that. then i can guess this thread can be closed

Help finding a good phablet (6+ inch phone)

before anything let me say to the mods that i searched and there was no thread relating to my need. the recommendation thread doesn't fit my question so i hope this doesnt get deleted.
so, i currently own a huawei mate 7 which i somewhat hate but since i got rid of my nexus 5 late last year i have no choice but to use it. luckily there are new phones available now and later so ill hopefully have at least a few choices.
at the moment im looking at the oppo r9+ but i would really appreciate as many suggestions as i can get. the recommendations need to be of phones that are 6 inches and above. ideally with a snapdragon soc and hopefully with custom rom support. my current discontent with my mate7 is the lack of custom roms and thats due to huwei not helping by releasing sources.
i plan on waiting to buy my next phone till after i do extensive research this time around (never again huawei!..... NEVER AGAIN!!) so suggestions about phones possibly coming out next year are ok. thanks in advance for any and all help!
We have a dedicated thread for such questions here,

Many opinions to be had there, so I'll close this thread! :good:
