Hey everyone just wondering if it would be possible for anyone to theme the genie widget to match the desire rom? Since modaco latest rom coming with this app, it is one of my favorite apps but it sticks out like a sore thumb using it with the Sense UI!
If this would be possible it would be really awesome and maybe modaco could include this version with his rom so everything matches!

I posted this one in the Desire rom thread. Just delete the .zip from it's name. I found this in the G1 forum a couple of months ago. I'm sorry but I can't remeber who posted it there. This one has a transparent background.
Thanks man but doesn't seem to be working, uninstalled the old genie widget but can't install this one even using ADB I get [INSTALL_FAILED_UPDATE_INCOMPATIBLE] Sucks now I am back to no GenieWidget at all lol

Thanks man appreciate it but not exactly what I was looking for LOL What I meant was one that matches the black transparent background of the clock/weather. That does work though, don't want to seem ungrateful just not what I was looking for.

Well, It did not break my phone! It is actually pretty speedy, and everything seems to work, nice job
I guess I will run it for a while and see if it breaks, but so far so good, although I am not a huge fan of the Nexus Launcher, I suppose I can get used to it.

includes HTC sense?
Very Nice.
Music works. tested with android player, mixzing, last.fm, iheartradio
Facebook works.
Video works. tested with mixzing
Youtube works.
HTC_IME works. *shock*
swype installs and works.
camera works
camcorder works and records.
3d acceleration works tested with labyrinth lite and dice
i don't have no real don't works at the moment...

the only thing that doesn't work are the same things that don't work with the original stock mytouch such as wifi tethering and google voice 3.0+

Did you read anything? how can people help you if you dont even know what your looking at. Its for the fender mytouch LE/ 1.2 which is a 32a.
Very good job, I like everything about it. I prefer black/darker themes but this one just works. No problems except for some reason Swapper will not start.Has worked all every other rom and themed version but it will not start th swap partition. Oh well, its not like I "need" it, just got used to having it on in case.

Meltus audio hack says it works but does nothing.
Htc and reg music fc every time they are opened.

Does anyone have a working HTC Sense LiveWallpaper for CM7 or can make a version that works with CM7
Unfortunately, the HTC Sense Livewallpaper is ripped from HTC Sense Froyo.
So most likely you have to wait for a HTC Sense Gingerbread phone with the livewallpaper first. If I'm not wrong, you can't really hack the Froyo one to the Gingerbread rom because the libraries aren't updated yet.
Is musashiken's post the final answer with this? I too would love this to work with CM7/GB. It's one of my favorite live wallpapers. I'd be happy to 'buy a beer' - actually make that a couple beers to anyone that can make this work!

Alright ladies and gentlemen, I am glad to finally bring you the Evervolv series of ROM's.
First thing I would like to say is that this rom would not be possible without the CyanogenMod team. I am merely here to bring you how I like my phone setup and give you more options over a base build of the gingerbread genre. My qualifications are inferior to what is required on some of the fixes that were made. Thus I rely on the CyanogenMod Team for their expertise in these fields.

* 1.2.0a3 is a nightly build, not sure how stable it is
* 1.2.0a2 is the confirmed stable build

Is this CM7?
No, this is a build that started from AOSP. However, some of the fixes and few features have been derived from the CyanogenMod Team, including the CM kernel.

It's not 100% ready for mainstream use but I expect that to change in the next day or so. Also, there are a number of tweaks and modifications that were part of the Savaged-Zen ROM (my old dev team) that I wrote which I plan on bringing into Evervolv once time allows.
That said, expect some cool stuff to happen with this ROM over the next few weeks!

Tried it out. Hardware functions seem to work well. Was able to Bluetooth pair with my laptop and transfer a file (can't find my headset ATM). WiFi seems to work well, GPS lock was quick indoors. I don't know if it's just the weather or what, but GPS seems better than CM7. That is, if I exit Maps and do some other stuff for a few mins, CM7 would always try (and struggle) to locate me again, even if I haven't moved. This ROM seems to retain that info better, if that makes any sense.
Status bar notifications seem to be working. My wifi icon turned green when connecting to Google services, but not the signal bars--don't know if that is by design.
Power widgets are nice and work well.
Sent and received an SMS without problems.
Really like the slide up dock tray in the launcher!
Forgot to test hotspot...

For an alpha this is very stable and snappy.
Just a constructive remark: the choice of the font needs to be re-evaluated, it makes certain things very hard to read...not very "ergonomic" to the eyes...

I agree with the change of font and we've talked internally about this matter. I'm going to post flashable zips with stock and good looking fonts soon. The default font included won't change but I will offer options soon.
There is a thread in the evo4g forums that offer over 300 flashable fonts. They work with this rom and are worth looking into. Personally, I prefer the Ubuntu 10.10 font offered in that thread.

I haven't flashed this yet, but see if replacing DroidSans.tff & DroidSans-Bold.tff in /system/fonts does the trick. You could pickup the CM7 fonts, or try any other True-Type font.
EDIT: Type Fresh, created by XDA member openback, also lets you change fonts. http://www.xda-developers.com/android/type-fresh-change-fonts-on-your-rooted-android-device/
Just tried it, pretty smooth. A few things that bug me: 1, the colorized icons, maybe make a flashable zip that make them stock again? 2, the font, already been covered so I ain't gonna say much except that when I flash the Ubuntu font, some letters are boxes, happens in other ROMs too. Fixable? And that's all I gotta say, otherwise I really like it, good job!

Yes, preety much. There are also different ones that have a little more customization.
Does it replace the default launcher, or does it just place another layer on the of the other? like a skin
