asus zenfone 5 (a500kl) Touch ruined after a number of root's - General Questions and Answers

Hi,
(apologies if there are spelling errors)
I have root and changed rom for the asus zenfone 5 (a500kl) WW a few months ago.
after a exchange of some rom's the system reacts slowly and I'm seeing the system does't receive updates.
I decided to unroot the device and switch back to the baseline version.
after that the touch started to make trouble and not respond. I'v a stripe in the screen that through the touch is slight.
moreover, I still have the options of development, despite the device is unrooted/locked (checked with "root checker" program and "SuperSU" Writes I'd not have root) and I can't root the device again. I tried to root again in every possible way but the device isn't rooted!
what can I do to solve the touch problem at least? (guess that need to be replaced hardware, BUT I CAN'T ROOT THE DEVICE!)
help please
device info:
asus zenfone 5 - T00P(a500kl)
android version 5.0
Baseband version: M3.5.23-A500KL_10137 (this is the Hebrew version)
Kernel version: [email protected]#1
Build number: LRX21M.WW_Phone-12.4.5.58

[Q] Ouku Horizon update

Hello all.
I have a Ouku Horizon (p801w) bought through Lichtinthebox.com
I am very happy but I would like a other version of Android.
I'm no expert on this, so I ask your help.
Now I have:
Android 2.2.2
Baseband version iris_p800w_V1.20
Kernel 2.6.35.7 root @ scm-Perf # 3
Build number FRG83g
software version iris_p801w_V1.21
Hardware version IRIS_MP
I would like Gingerbread, but a newer version of Froyo is also good.
would you like to give to a HOW_TO?
hi
did you were able to rooted it?
I rooted mine but when I tried to backup the rom so I can flash a new one
it boot loops now I'm stuck...
boot ouku horizon : universal Androot still doesn't work
i tried androot on my ouku and it doesn't work. you say you managed to root it?
how did you do?
i'm on linux mint and my phone in on froyo.
I obviously tried to boot with the latest version of superoneclick. it opens properly etc BUT it keeps saying "waiting for device"
regards
How to get Root to flash this phone as described in the Russian forum forum.china-iphone.ru in this topic viewtopic.php?f=37&t=14382
careful though
i sure don't understand russian. according google translation, this just tells you how to use superoneclick on your ouku.
with me it didn't work so far.
i'm trying again and i'll come back with more info if it works. if there is no more message after that one, just make a educated guess.

WM8850-Mid Remove firmware

I searched and found a thread about how to root my device and install firmware. So, I rooted first which worked. Then I tried a firmware from this site, namely MaPan7650B. When I did this my tablet boots up like all is well but my touch screen does not respond anymore. So, I need help removing this firmware to go back to defaults. I have no idea how to do it.
I'm desperate.

First, you should need to know which actual model of your MID.
MaPan & a few variants model mostly came from Eken W70 by different modules, mostly they change using different Touch Panel Chip Controller, you should have know it.
Even Eken W70 is came from different PCB version that they modified the board quite frequently.
Try to browse the "FirmwareInstall\config" folder, you should see the Brand name & Model no. .fwc file.
To select the right one to flash your device is just put the "+" in front the .fwc file.
If you haven't found one suitable, just try to search the different source of W70 WM8850 firmware, you might see a collection of different .fwc config file there.
Give a few tries, then you should able to find out what Touch Panel Controller is using.

hi
i recently bought a zenfone 5 T00J ( this is what it displays in the system info).

I can not do any update because my firmware version is displayed as ASUS_T00J_WW_user_2.99.40.6_20140927_8163
according to Asus hompage the latest firmware is: V2.20.40.13 ; last time i checked i had no timemaschine...
asus.com/ae-en/support/Download/39/1/0/2/96nqlxHp1VKV4Rdz/32/
can anyone please help or advise me how to get rid of this "akward" firmware version??
either by downgrading or upgrading....
thx in advance
There is no update like 2.99.When kitkat was first introduced,it had the problem of APN, but in update V2.20.40.13(WW),it was solved. You should try for this update.I am having this update and it is the latest one.

Bought a refurbished phone, get rid of apps (Vendor) auto-installing on first boot?

General Phone information:
Device: SM-G920F - Knox Tripped, phone was bought refurbished with 5.1.1 installed.
aTerminator™_G920F_DPAD_M.6.0.1_1.5500.Dev.EDGE_XE U - Android 6.0.1
3.10.61 SpaceX MM RC 2.1 - Link
Rooted with SuperSU 2.67
Flashed phone after cleaning up all data on it first (Clean install)
Problem:
Whenever I flash a new ROM from scratch, or recover the stock rom on the device, there are approx 5 applications that reinstall themselves on the very first boot of each ROM. Those applications are vendor-specific (Telenor, Norway). Are there any hidden partitions that makes this happen?
Why does this happen (a little explanation, so I understand how it works )? And how could I remove/prevent this from happening?
When I bought the phone, it was not locked to any service provider, but presumably it was before. The phone was informed to be a demo model at a store for about 2 weeks.
I haven't got to try any methods yet, as I am unsure about how and what this is.
Thanks for any responses, if you need any information besides what I entered above, just comment and I'll reply.

Here is that tool.
Firmware can be downloaded from the official website.
You can flash the zip normally
flashing
1.Select the model number.
2.Then select wipe data -> yes
3.Give the directory of the zip file.
4.Select the device
5.Then click the green arrow
Will try this thank you so much!
