Hi all, i'm looking for some answer,
after searching a lot i found nothing so i want to make extended custom battery using such spare battery like http://www.alibaba.com/product-deta...063887.html?spm=a2700.7724838.4.14.pfOHDO&s=p
or from any other set confirming size (LG G3??).
Question is, what type of batteries these are? are those safe for smartphone? have i made a wrong or risky decision ??
another Question is from this link : http://www.aliexpress.com/item/2x-1..._77_91_80,searchweb201644_5,searchweb201560_9
the seller claimed that the battery capacity is 2100to 2500mAh... Hows that? its true?
TIA
(sorry 4 my English)
On item description is specify 2010mah. Anyway, i dont think is better than stock battery.

problem is I don't want to carry an extra device liike power bank. our stock battery was from 2013, technology developing day by day. so that um xpecting more power in same size of a battery. is my xpectation is too high??
Motorola Moto G 1st Gen battery model is ED30 with 2070 mAh power.
Motorola Google Nexus 6 battery model is EZ30 with 3025 mAh.
Connectors on both batteries look same.
So you can try using EZ30 battery in place of ED30 if connectors work and battery fits ok inside moto g 1st gen.
If this combination works then you are good to go with that awesome compact device-- Moto G 1st Gen.

...not a battery either? 5000mah is slim plug in when phone use permits.
I search a battery like : http://youtu.be/VSGNUrpwIno
But a 3000mAh battery.
The n5 doesn't have a replaceable battery.
but the battery on the inside can be removed and replaced... even if it isn't the conventional way, it sort of is pseudo replaceable...
Well, check amazon. If they exist, they are there....if not, they don't.
No.

Be careful, even on devices with a replaceable battery, extented battery (like 3500 mAh, etc) instead of 2000mAh are, in general, fakes ones.
(Already tested to check it with a "Gold 2700 mAh" battery for an Optimus 2x. The battery died 3 day laters and, during thoses 3 day, I did'nt notice any betters battery stats...

Just have found this, but I would be suspicious.
Most non OEM batteries have false claims to mAh. Search "battery boss false claims"

Ok guys i added a LG G5 Battery TrendON+Charger to my First Post. Have Fun
Is those big batterys really bigger than normal or is it only like value printed to battery? Its weird that if its possible to add bigger battery with same size than original, why LG didnt do it then?

I'm not sure but you buy one to try out. My batteries for the G4 seem correct
Has anybody tried/tested these high capacity batteries?
Do they fit the phone? Do they last longer?
Got mine on Saturday and still can't tell yet.

Ive got the 3200mah battery but there isnt an app that confirms the actual capacity. As far as longevity...it feels the same as 2800mah honestly. I'll run a test and report back.
Uhh, judging by the images on the webpage that 3800mAh charging case isn;t actually made for the G5. It appears to have a microUSB connection instead of a type-C and also the camera cutout is completely wrong. I suggest removing it from the list unless someone has bought it and can confirm that the images aren't representative of the actual product.
As always be wary of batteries from random manufacturers on alibaba. Every single time someone's phone explodes in their pocket the investigation discovered it was a non-OEM battery from China.
From my experience with my old galaxy s3, any battery that claims to be a higher capacity than the stock and is the same size, normally is garbage. The fact of the matter is, if there was a way to get more power into the same amount of space, lg would've done it in the first place with the OEM battery. So unless you just want a cheap extra battery that may (or may not) explode, I'd suggest sticking with OEM or first party stuff.
Ok well my G4 with all these battery apps. They all tell the same capacity 2800mah as there's a chip in the battery/phones/kernel that the capacity stored and locked to 2800mah. Now I have an App. That you can edit the battery capacity in the settings. I'll link it in a few
Battery Monitor
No. That is not the case for 'every single' time a phone has set on fire at all.
My question is simple is there a compatible battery available but of more MAH FOR MOTO MERLIN to put in my phone ,Now don't reply that it is not removable ,I have assembled and dissembled my phone twice. THANKS

No, there isn't... the problem with current battery technology is to get 1/3 more capacity you need 1/3 more size.

Hi,
I am trying to replace the battery of my Droid Razr HD. I ordered an EV30 replacement on Aliexpress but I just saw they delivered an EV20. It takes about a month for packages to arrive so I am wondering if I can use the EV20 in the meantime. Will it perform ok just last less time.? It seems to be from Motorola.
Specs: EV30 is 3.8V 2460/2530 mAh (min/typ) 9.3/9.6 Wh (min/typ)
EV20 is 3.8V 1750/1780 mAh 6.7/6.8 Wh

The devices are different and the battery are different. The batterys are also different and are not the same size. Also the xt926 hd is a calf device and the xt912 is not. A calf device has snapdragon firmware. I hope this enlightened your understanding a little.

Thanks for the explanation
I actually went ahead and put it in because the replacement is not going to come for a while. After half a day everything seems to be working. The battery life is not good but that makes sense since the capacity is less.
The battery was the same size just a bit thinner. I do not know how snapdragon firmware influences battery compatibility.

Glad it working for you but if if issues arrive take the battery out. If you ever have any problems I have an extra battery just sitting there in a package. I have two one is the 3330 that came out of the hd maxx and the the other one is the 2530 I took out when I replaced the motherboard. I dont mind giving up one. They both work and have full cell capacity. I held onto them just in case the battery in my current hd took a crap. Also the 3,300 mah one works in one of my other devices wich holds more ram 2gb.
Hey I want to buy a new battery for my lg g5. Should I buy original LG battery or go for third patry battery with bigger capacity?
If a third party claims a higher capacity than stock with the same dimensions, get as far away from it as you can.
So an original battery is a better option?

For sure.
If battery has a same size compared to original one it can't have bigger capacity.
Buy a white one called Yishda.
It has good reviews and now I'm on my second day with 2.5 sot so i believe it can reach around 3-4 sot depending on use.
I'm on fulmics 5.5 and batery runs better than the original which is 2 years old.
I think it's the best battery i bought after 2 failures, one claiming to be 3200 and that it's original but barely lasts 2 hours sot.
