[Q] How to define the standard calendar?

Hey @ all,
hopefully someone can tell me how the default calender can be defined?
I got the last OTA update (TMO branded device (rooted) with Android 4.1.1 and Build 3.16.111) and i have still the problem to find the option to define the standard calendar for new appointments.
Each time I insert a new appointment the standard calendar is "MyPhonebook" which is an useless TMO app. Each time a have to change it to my Exchange or google account. The last setting is not saved.
Questions:
Where/how can the default account/calendar be defined?
Is there a possibility to remove the account MyPhonebook, which seams to be a system app?

Can't answer your question directly but I have always used Jorte (free from the Play store) it can import data from google calendar and I like the interface.

non existant contacts appear in dialer

Hi,
This happened to me on several roms (Right now I'm on CM7.2) ;
When I start to manually enter a number on my phone dialer - i see contacts that are not in my contacts list. How do I delete them ? Where are they coming from ?
I lent the phone to a client of mine 2 months ago for a week, but since then I completely deleted the rom I gave him and I have different sim and memory card, So where are the contacts coming from ?

go to settings -> synchronization
and check what accounts you have synced there (gmail, whatsapp, facebook etc.)
next you can display or undisplay them in the contacts app "display" setting.
It probably comes from the gmail account.
make sure you see the unnecessary contacts on contacts app and delete them there.

[Q] HTC One S How Change my Google Account Picture

Hi guys. I have HTC One S from t-mobile. I am am trying to change my google avatar picture across my google account. I changed it using a computer in google+ profile settings. I see the change in my gmail account when I login to gmail using a computer. However, in my android phone I still see the old picture in my Gmail account. My friends still see an old picture when I send an email to them from my phone.

[Q] Default Google account in Lollipop

I have 3 Google accounts.
1 personal, which is my main account for apps and email. The others are official and education Google accounts.
The personal account was used to set up my phone (Moto X 2014 on Lollipop), before the other two Google accounts were added.
Here is the issue that apps (both Google and non-Google) seem to be picking one of the other accounts as the default account. E.g. when signing up for a new service like Twitter, it would assume that my official account is the main, whilst it is actually the personal. I know that the account can easily be changed by selecting the other, but it does not work for all apps as mentioned below.
The same issue has been described here:
Now when I receive a contact via WhatsApp and I click on it to save, it would automatically save it to the wrong Google account, since the phone considers that to be the main account even though it was not used to set up the phone.
Does anybody have an idea where to change this? I have experienced this on Lollipop on both the Nexus 5 and Moto X 2014. The problem did not occur on Kitkat.

This ****ing sucks. I have the same problem. Some apps just randomly chose an account instead of the first added one.
Why is there no default option?

Google contacts not synched on mi4i

Hi All
I have realised that i have missing google contacts and could not find a way i can import contacts from google in miui.
I signed in and only 170 contacts have been imported ( i remember i had 400+) and some of my new friends are missing.
Yes my contacts were in sync with google.
Any idea/way i can have them back?
Also how can i use google.now launcher in miui (only if possible)

Have you already reviewed your hosts file to be certain that you are not being redirected from google domains? Can you reach gmail throught your mobile browser?
