Hi,
My phone is bricked (totally dead+usb not detected+doesn't boot at all) because i formatted it without installing the new rom. (sp tool was taking too much time and I had to stop the process)
now the phone does not have a rom installed and I cannot boot to recovery mode aswell. everything is gone !!
and the biggest problem is that my pc has not been detecting the phone while it's plugged in via usb cable since i formatted it. :crying:
maybe, can i just install the rom in sdcard then i boot from it?
my phone is versus pioneer p1 ( a.k.a gionee pioneer p1)
Thanks.
Hello,
Welcome to XDA.
If your device doesn't charge, has no LED when plugged in, won't boot to any mode, no vibration when press power and PC gives no sound when device is connected then you are probably hard bricked, if that is the case you'll have to take it to a repair shop, there is a good chance they won't be able to fix it.

Picked up a used LG Volt from eBay for cheap, seller said device is user-locked. First thing I noticed is this is a Boost phone and there is a Sprint sim installed. Thought someone might have been monkeying with the internals. The phone is pattern-locked. I have tried every conceivable combination of button presses/holds and the device will NOT enter recovery mode. All I get is the LG logo coming on and the notification light glowing, then the logo and light disappears, then the logo comes on for a couple seconds then back off again and keeps repeating this cycle.
I connected it to my PC but, since I can't unlock the screen I can't set the phone as a removeable drive and it does not connect to the PC. I have installed the LG Drivers and tried to put the phone in DL mode, however, it is still not recognized by the PC. If I open up device manager on my PC and then plug the phone in the device manager rolls up and back down again like it is trying to figure something out, but the device still does not show up . I have installed/uninstalled the drivers and rebooted my PC several times in hopes that it would connect. I have tried a couple of Android managers on the PC but they don't recognize the Volt either. I have booted the PC into Linux and tried to work with it there but, again, it is never recognized. I have read several post concerning flashing in DL mode, even installed LG Flash Tool, but since the Volt isn't recognized the procedure comes to a halt. I read about ADB but I can't unlock the phone to set debugging and, I believe, the phone needs to be recognized by the PC.
If I could just get past the pattern-lock or get the PC to connect to the phone I feel I might have a chance fixing it.

I have a zenfone C, it is bricked now. When I turn it on, it shows the Asus logo, then bootloops after a minute interval. When I connect it to pc, the charging icon appears. I cannot enter into recovery mode, and I cant flash a new rom because it cannot be detected by pc. I have intalled isoc, including usb drivers but still cannot detect. This fone has no warranty anymore.

Hello, and welcome to XDA!
Since you cannot get the device to recognize on a PC, I doubt this will work. From my standpoint, it is your last hope:
> Android Development and Hacking > Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting > Asus Zenfone C bootloop
If you run into problems, can reply in that thread as well (once you have an XDA account).
Hope this helps, and good luck!

Hello.
I have a problem with my lenovo tablet
During flashing a older stock rom in, I selected incorrect rom and now the device doesn't boot.
Doesn't react to holding any combination of volume +/- and power.
Doesn't react to power button at all. If I plug it in to a charger, it doesn't show the charging animation.
SPFlashTool is unable to do anything after I pick the device, it sees it but is unable to flash it in. (I will attach logs after I get home)
Windows still detects a MT65xx Preloader after I plug it into a USB port. (I have removed the MTEK vcom USB driver since the flashing attempt)
Is the situation still salvageable? Can I somehow still give life back to my bricked device?
Thanks in advance.
Well, almost a year later I've bumped into the exact same issue.
Anyone knows how to solve this?
Damn...
----EDIT----
I've managed to sove this. Had to open the tablet and remove the cable that connects the battery. Once reconnected, the tablet was able to be powered on.

Bricked Lenovo Tab 2 A7 10F
I was trying to flash TWRP and get my Lenovo Tab 2 A7 10F to root but during the process i don't know which scatter file i chose since it the scatter files were more than 1.
So i tried one by one all of the three scatter files and tried to flash but I don't know which scatter file i chose. So i removed the USB from my tab since the bar at the bottom wasn't progressing and now the tab won't turn on.
KINDLY SUGGEST ?? :'( :'( Otherwise my dad go angry on me. PLEASE !!! PLEASE !!! PLEASE !!! PLEASE !!! SOMEONE SAVE ME _/\_

I just opened the back cover and disconnected the battery cable. I didn't remove the battery.
Anyway, you can search youtube for videos that shows you how to open the back cover.
Cheers!
Thanks for the help!!! had the same issue

Hey, i was in the same problem some weeks ago.
I finally figured it out after spending 2 nights continuously, so here is what you need to do.
1. Carefully open the back cover of your tablet and find the square connector which connects the battery and disconnect it.
2. Now download the stock Kitkat rom for the tablet from xda.
3. Install vcom drivers for mediatek 65xx.
4. While the connector is removed plug the cable to the computer or laptop.
5.Then connect the mini usb to your charging port (Again the connector should not be attached to motherboard).
6. Load scatter file in sp flash tool uncheck preloader, MBR and SEC_RO.
7.Then hit the start button and wait for it!
8. Now remove the cable, attach the battery connector to motherboard. AND BOOT!!!:good::good::victory:
If this help you please give a thanks.
hello friends I have a problem with my samsung tab 2 SGH - i497 when trying to install a custom recovery through the application Install TWRP , now my tab will not start, or load, nor can enter into recovery mode or download mode , please ayudenme I can do to fix it .
Hello,
If your device will not charge, will not boot to any of its modes, has no LED when connected to charger or PC, does not vibrate when power is pressed, will not connect to PC or is not recognized by PC, then unfortunately the device is probably hard bricked and is dead.
There is a chance that a Samsung USB Jig will help you boot it to download mode, they can be found on eBay for $3-5 US. If you get a Jig, insert it in the microUSB port on the device, if it works, it will force the device into download mode and you can then connect to PC and flash your stock firmware or possibly only the stock recovery to replace the custom recovery that bricked your device to recover the device if you are lucky. There may or may not be some other steps required after getting the device recovered to get it correctly repaired, or you might get lucky.
If that doesn't work, then your only other option is to send it in for JTAG service at the repair shop of your choice, you can find them with a Google Search.
Your device probably has a locked bootloader, as do most Samsung devices in the past 2-3 years. Attempting to flash these devices with locked bootloaders with anything other than the devices' current stock firmware or newer results in a permanently bricked device, some can be recovered but not in all cases.
In the future, regardless of how familiar you are with android and flashing, always familiarize yourself with these kinds of details about your specific model number before you do anything to your device. Good luck.
hello friend thanks for replying, I'll try what you tell me usb jig to force download mode, but the problem will be the entry is different from a normal samsung, it is wider, similar to an iPhone...

Try something like this along with the USB jig.
Samsung Tab USB adapter
Connect the adapter to your Tab then connect the USB jig to the adapter. If the jig is going to help you that will work.
