after all this I was able to log in with my account and make reset , 100% working
You guys are badasses thank you so much you are my heros!!!
Just wanted to say thank you as well, worked perfectly!
Finally success!
To date, 29 April 2016 @10.33PM EST, this trick worked on my Samsung Galaxy S6 Verizon, SM-G920V, but with a setup.
Literally 26 hours after making the fatal mistake of hard rest via the button pressing instead of within house from the Settings, I managed to find this workaround, but worked only because I flashed the ROM to 5.1.1 from 6.0.1.
One word of note, you must swipe from bottom up, like using an iPhone 6+, to access the settings option, the gear clog icon in the upper right on the panel, after swiping up .
For the record and I hope this pops up on some one else's Google search, I give a brief account of my working solution.
Encounter this problem, when I did a factory reset from Recover Mode. That was a mistake. I could have done a factory reset from Settings.
After searching, finally hit upon the idea trick of downgrading.
The easiest approach was using Odin 3 (ver. 3.10.7 I used) on a PC, Mac is too buggy requiring Heimdall installed and having the PIT file.
On the PC, I just needed the correct and older firmware for my model Galaxy S6.
To date, I had current ver. 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) and I wanted 5.1.1 (or earlier). I found 5.1.1 but flashing and installing 5.1.1 using Odin3 on PC did not work. I was confronted still with the Samsung account login problem.
Among the many searches, I found this forum and the streamline easy process. It work!
So, for those with 6.0.1 (or greater for those who come across this later),
1. Find older firmware, e.g. ver. 5.1.1
2. Downgrade by flashing using Odin3 on a PC. Using a Mac is too problematic. And yes, using Windows on a virtual machine as I did, running Windows 10 on Mac (Maverick) using VMware.
3. Then, apply the method described.
4. Apply the follow-up procedure too.
Thank you and good luck.
This worked perfectly on my 5.0.1 Galaxy S4. Samsung and Verizon were completely useless in helping me with this but you guys are champs! Thanks!!

Mate you are a diamond! I just bought an S5 from the original owner & they had no clue about any Samsung account & they sure as hell never set one up when setting up the phone for first use!
Hours spent reading & have tried just about everything to the point where I was simply ready to replace the mainboard & then I find your post like a shining light Worked first time.
I did it this way.
Connected original handsfree Samsung headset to headphone jack
Pressed & held small oval connect button on headset - S voice opens
Tell S voice to "start settings" (may take 2 or 3 attempts but does open settings.
Once in settings then navigate to security page & continue as per your original post.
Fantastic & oh such a clever way to use KNOX to get past this & take back control of the phone! :good: :good:

Aeh, I'm an expat in Taiwan that purchased a 2nd had s5, but when it arrived the Samsung account FRP was still active. Like my friend above, I've spent hours online watching, reading, doing anything to bypass that crap. Your method, though I used sidesync to kick into the browser, was the only one Samsung hadn't nixed. I appreciate your post; thank you.
Bypassed using Side sync, installed solo launcher and the works the only problem for me was that I tripped my Knox crap.. so it wont let me install knox did any one have this problem or is there another way?

Try factory resetting again, and use side sync to kick into the chrome browser. Go to the website for google play. Download Knox from there without installing solo launcher first. If you need to, you can create a new Samsung account in Knox to bypass the FRP. Once you have unlocked your phone, you can add your actual Samsung account to restore all your crap.
I wasn't able to follow the OPs exact instructions, but I was able to get into Knox and create a new account. Hope that helps

Hey man, I just did this exact bypass again. My exact steps were as follows:
-Open sidesync on computer
-Connect s5 via USB
-Choose to use Google Chrome when prompted
-Navigate to google play store in browser
-Download & install Knox
-Once installed open
-Follow on screen instructions to create Knox account
-Once Knox has created a "secure work space", open the "apps" page
-Open Knox settings and select "Add account"
-Choose to add a Samsung account
-Choose to create new account
-Create new account and and click verify email
-Once verified and the new account has been successfully added, reset the phone and sign into the FRP with new account information
_youre_in_
-Cruise through the setup wizard and link your google account/whatever to restore your crap.

Does any of this actually still work? These assholes at Samsung locked my phone somehow because I used apk sideload to install a new firmware. I have no access to my own phone anymore and I can't get any of this working.

Hi!
I got an Note 3 for a test but there was a Samsung account before it activated... I did not know the password for it, so id did wipe it within the recovery. but now when I start the device it still asks the Samsung account information.
Rooting option is not an option because it`s not my device, but just for the test. also I can not find the my locations software version ( SEB) for it, so I could try to flash it using Odin.
Any other options to get rid of the Samsung account verification option on setupwizard?

Sounds like the Reactivation Lock has been switched on. There is a guide on the forum somewhere, however it's not as simple as ABC.

In reality it was so simple...
For other guys that have the problem like me:
After the wipe via recovery turn on your phone.
In the first screen when you must choose the language, go in to the Accessibility options.
Go to Text To Speech Options and in the settings find the option to download other and Install Voice data.
Just choose to install any voice data.
At this point it will ask you to log in to the Samsung account. You can create new one or just log in with your existing one.
When the download has completed go back to the start and keep on setting up the device as always.
At this moment it will ask you to log in with the Samsung account anyway, but at this time log in with the same account with witch you logged in when you downloaded the Voice Data. Vuola! You are in.
Then go to Security Settings and uncheck the Reactivation Lock, to disable this option if you don't want that anymore.

Google Account Issue
It appears that this is an account issue, for some of us. I am having the same problem on multiple devices with my Google Apps account, but my gmail account is working just fine on those devices.
Google is evidently aware of it, and its gotten a little press on Android Police. Whatever you do, don't listen to what people are saying and factory reset the device. IT doesn't help, and all it winds up doing is removing access to all of your paid / no paid apps.
A small discussion has sprung up on the Google Wallet forum here.

i have had this issue on ics not on jelly bean before my fix for this normally was less radical than an factory reset
Suspects:
1. Google Play Store
2. Google Services Framework
3. Download Manger
Step 1 remove all Gmail accounts from settings menu under accounts (i do this because i want a clear start like when you did a factory reset)
Step 2 locate Google Play Store (android market app) in settings menu > applications > all > Google Play Store
2.1 Force Stop
2.2 Uninstall Updates
2.3 Clear data & cache
Step 3 locate Google Services Framework in settings menu > applications > all > Google Services Framework
3.1 Force Stop
3.2 Uninstall Updates
3.3 Clear data & cache
Step 4 locate Download Manger in settings menu > applications > all > Download Manger
4.1 Force Stop
4.2 Uninstall Updates this does not get update make sure its enabled
4.3 Clear data & cache
Step 5 do a restart for good luck
Step 6 Open Google Play Store and setup you Google account again
Step 7 Open you favorite email program and setup you account
Basically you just did a factory reset only on Google Play Store & Google Services Framework & Download Manger
Good luck hope this helps helped me a few times in the past
Don't waste your time with this. It's permanent, account related, Even a factory reset and reflash doesn't fix it.

For those of you who cannot get Google now to work because you live in “Other countries", here's a fix that works for the Nexus 5 running the official Android 5.0 Lollipop released yesterday (Thursday 13th).
Here are the possible problems you ran into:
1. In Google Search's setting, you are unable to "flick on" Google Now with text "Google Now requires location services which are not available."
2. You signed out of the Google account, cleared Google Search app, uninstalled updates from Google Play Services, and signed in again. But after you click "Yes, I'm in" in you get a simple message saying "This account is not eligible for Google Now"
Be sure that your device's language is in English (United States)
Fix:
1. Download and install Market Unlocker (I am apparently a new member and not allowed to post links)
2. If your country blocks Google Play (eg. China), download SpeedVPN
3. If you are logged into Google: Settings-->Accounts-->Google-->*Click on your email*-->Three button on top right-->Remove Account
4. Go into Settings-->Apps -->Clear data for both Google Play Services and Google Search
5. Now open Market Unlocker --> Enable Unlocker (Default should be Verizon United States, if not, swipe right and choose that)
6. Turn of the phone.
7. Important: remove SIM card
8. Turn on the phone, connect to wifi, and open SpeedVPN -->Choose "United States"
9. Long press on homescreen -->Settings--> turn on Google Now
10. Log in and you should get your Google Now working.
11. Put back your SIM card
Hope it helps guys. Let me know if you run into any problems during this process.
UPDATE!
HERE'S A NEW METHOD THAT WORKS FOR LOLLIPOP ON NEXUS 5 as of February 1st 2015
This method has also been tested on Nexus 4 running Lollipop 5.0 as well. Here are the steps
1. Make sure you are rooted and have a working VPN
2. Download and install "location report enabler"
3. Run it and grant root access
4. Restart phone, turn on airplane mode with Wi-Fi on
5. Set VPN to country like America or England
6. Clear data for Google Launcher, Play services, Play store
7. Settings--> Location--> Google ----> enable location
8. Sign out of Google account
9. Back to home screen, use Google search to "remind me to buy milk"
10. Go through sign in steps
11. Back to home screen and swipe left. Voila!
Again if you have any questions please comment!

Same for me, I just cannot get it to work. Tried several times, also uninstalled the updates of Google Play Services. And yes, I am rooted...
I also removed my Exchange account and disabled all device administrators
When it says account not eligible and goes back to google search just make it remind something (eg - remind me to sleep in 10 minutes) before doing anything else and it should automatically enable google now and take you to google now. Worked for me and hope this helps yall

Interestingly I didn't even get to try it out.
Google Now worked after following the steps mentioned by dollarside. However, it was probably the 5th I've tried.
Might be related to Market Unlocker that didn't seem to work at first. I used the guide from here (including proxy settings) and downloaded the latest version (3.5.1). After rebooting I made sure that the app actually said Market successfully changed (I had failed before after the reboot).
Another reason could be that I used Astrill VPN before (with different US servers). The last and successful attempt was with SpeedVPN.
In the end I cannot say what helped. Being persistent turned out to be successful. This time.
it's work for me in second try without rooting or using market unlocker.
on my nexus 4 from Iran
Perfect !:good:
Works on 5.0.1
Many Thanks

Yay the new update (Google App 4.1.24.1672412.arm) works with the old trick I used.
The old trick if anyone needs it (Needs root) -
Install Titanium Backup. Install a File Manager and a Launcher. I used ES File Explorer and Nova Launcher.
Find and download com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox-2.6.7.721924.arm version of Google Search and copy it to your phone. (Won't post the link because it's not allowed. You can find it in Androidfilehost)
Open Titanium Backup and tap on "Backup/restore". Scroll down to Google Search and tap on it. Do a backup by tapping "Backup!!" (Just in case) Then tap on "Un-Install!" (Make sure you have a different launcher installed before doing this!!")
Restart your phone.
Open the file manager, navigate to the folder where you copied the Google Search 2.6.7.721924 apk and install it. Open it and it will ask to Opt in to Google Now. Tap on "Yes I'm in".
Download and install the latest update from APKMirror Google App 4.1.24.1672412.arm.
And you are done! Feel free to remove the other launcher and file manager.
WARNING!!, Google Patched This Guide in Latest Version of Google Play Services. DO NOT UPDATE GOOGLE PLAY SERVICES TO LATEST VERSION. You can still Disable FRP if you have FrpUpdateIntentService. But if you don't have it. To Make Disable FRP Work again you can do this. Downgrade Google Play Services. or Modify Google Play Services APP. Before Doing My Guide. Download And Install this http://viid.me/qwsapn .apk to be able to Disable FRP Lock. It's ModifiedNote. They Patched it because it was disabling important security.
Here's Instructions i made this solution i think it work for all android phones !
1. Enable Developer options and check "OEM Unlocking" (tap 8 times build number in phone info)
2. Go to GOOGLE PLAY STORE, search for DisableService App after that install it
3. Open This APP then go to tab SYSTEM
4. Search for Google Play Services
5. Search for Frp Uncheck Frp Service !
5A. Allow Root Access!
5B. Uncheck FrpUpdateIntentService
6. Now You Have FRP Disabled (YOU CAN'T HAVE ADDED GOOGLE ACCOUNT WHILE DISABLING, THIS INCREASE CHANCE OF BRICKING DEVICE!)
7.After it, you cannot add google account via settings it will say Application "name" Has stopped
8.Download QuickShortCutMaker
9.Search for "Manager"
10.Open IT
11. Search For Enter Email and Password or something
11A. IMPORTANT DON'T SELECT SECOND, THERE'S 2 OPTIONS MAKE SURE YOU HAVE SELECTED 1 ONE
12. Open ... Tab then select Login Using Browser or something
13. Write email address then password, Wait for logging in Window will close and you will go back to quickshortcutmaker
FINISHED ! Your Phone is now FRP Unlocked With Google Account ! You can check FRP Lock Status with google account in DownloadMode , Enjoy Your Custom Roms etc
No more Custom Binary Blocked By FRP Lock
you can have custom recovery with google account, IMPORTANT: don't delete your google account ! if you delete you need to go back to 8. step again !, have fun -Tested On My SM-G531F Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime lollipop 6.1.1 Rooted Unlocked Now FRP Unlocked-- Tested 5 times! Frp lock is Google Security Factory Reset Protection That Blocks Custom Binaries and more Factory Reset Phone other way than settings while FRP Lock is enabled You will get Verify Your Account, sometime's you need to bypass it in order to access your phone.
Not working m using latest play services
!!! Important !!!
GOOGLE PATCHED THIS METHOD.IF YOU UPDATED GOOGLE PLAY SERVICES TO LATEST VERSION. YOU CANNOT DOWNGRADE IT USING .apk that i attached HERE!.
You need to have a bit older Google Play Services to disable FrpUpdateIntentService. Latest Google Play Services is not downgradeable anymore.
Latest Google Play Services Has Patched Frp Lock Disable by hiding "FrpUpdateIntentService" without disabling it, it's impossible to disable frp lock with google account. it's important to disable FrpUpdateIntentService for FRP Lock disable method to work.
USE AT OWN RISK, IF YOU HAVE CUSTOM KERNEL THEN IF GOOGLE PLAY SERVICES WILL UPDATE SOMEHOW THEN YOU WILL GET "Custom Binary Blocked by FRP Lock"
To avoid Custom Binary Blocked By FRP Lock when google play services updated
Then you have no choice. you need to live without google account added.
(1 Downgrade Google Play Services Method still exists. ask me in private for more info about that downgrade)
(Maybe it's still Downgradeable, but there is 61% it's not downgradeable using apk anymore)

hi

I need to have some help with remove FRP please
I have a galaxy tab s3 SM-T825c tablet
FRP bypass
I have discovered a new bypass method that could be used on most android.
I spent 3 days searching and exploring to bypass a Google frp lock on a Alco pro12 tablet. Finally I was able to bypass it and get to system settings. There are a few complications as I had to switch to "guest user" or else it comes back asking for previous acco unt.
Steps are as follows:
1) tap "add network" on Wi-Fi selection screen.
2) type in anything and long press to access "share".
3) long press on Gmail to access app setting.
4) click "data usage" and tap "app settings".
5) click three dots in upper right hand corner and select "manage accounts" click "ok".
You will now be in the device settings menu to be able to do whatever you see fit.
I hope this helps someone as it did me. I DON'T condone theft or unlawfully accessing someone's device.
I gave my daughter a chance to be responsible and she failed. Luckily for her I finally figured this out and her $300 paperweight is now usable again.
Good luck to all!!!

do you have updated link for apk
i have discovered a new frp bypass, to do it you just have to be lucky i guess
1. buy a phone where the seller had the bootloader unlocked, or bypass the setup screen to enable the ability to unlock the bootloader and do so (if you still can idk)
2. flash twrp
3. flash your rom (if you dont want to use stock)
4. mount /system, use the file explorer to go into /system/priv-app
5. delete the setup folder (contains setup.apk of course)
6. reboot
its been literally 15 minutes so idk how permanent this is, but ive added my own google account and everything seems working and in order. htc u11 8.0.0 btw.

Some versions of the Android kernel are out of date and they allow you to do some trickery to get into the settings via the keyboard or a help link within the FRP itself.
It's a matter of luck, he is no moron.... It is you who is the frustrated moron, please refrain from name calling out of sheer frustration. lmao

I know that it’s not easy and it needs patience and repetition, yeah never give up guys do it again and again until you get it ????
Thank you.
Two questions:
1: the older method (from that Spanish video) worked for me. And even though there are error messages the first time I open any Google app, simply turning off the notification will stop it from popping up again. So I've been doing that with no real issues. Does the new method bring any other benefit other than "no need to even mute the notification the first time"?
2: do you know the risk level of these methods? Like are we opening up a major hole in our phone or Google account for potential dangers? Sorry if this is a dumb question. I am still paranoid about using my real Google account through these methods.

I was able to get GSM fully working, without any error notifications popping up whatsoever.
This is what I did (trying to remember from memory)
DISCLAIMER: I take no responsibility on anything bad happening to your device, this worked for me but might
not work for you! Thank you for understanding, I'm just trying to help others here.
1. Download the LZPlay Backup from here:
https://wetransfer.com/downloads/2d...ff5f170d938bd334e98ba2ce20200330034834/8659bc
2. Move it to a memory stick and connect to your Mate XS through OTG
3. Go to Settings -> System -> Backup -> Huawei Backup -> External Storage -> Choose the USB storage and restore
4. Download and extract this file to e.g. root of your phone:
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1mhS8tDhXf4AUtpfh9--8Dg8-MJgc_OKv
5. Install the Google Account Manager from the zip
6. Go to Settings -> Users and Accounts -> New Account -> Google. Follow the instructions and add your account
7. Install Google Frameworks from the zip
8. Install Device ID app, I used this:
https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/evozi...release/device-id-1-3-0-android-apk-download/
9. Using the App, check if there's anything on the Google Services Framework, if there is, uninstall Google Play Services
10. Install modagain1gsm.apk from the zip
11. Check the ID again using the Device ID add, and close all applications
12. Clear data + cache on Google Services Framework (you can try also uninstalling and reinstalling but my device froze
when I tried to do that)
13. Check ID again and close all applications
14. Uninstall Google Play Services (again, if your device freezes, try first clearing data+cache and force stopping it)
15. Install com.google.android.gms2.apk from the zip
16. Check the ID again
17. Reboot the device
Now after these procedures I was able to install Play Store APK and install all applications normally without any error
notifications popping up.
thanks drfroz ill give it another go tonight.. just to ask does Netflix, Hulu, work ? is there a benefit to keep trying vs just disabling notifications ?
