[Completed] Issue with play store website misidentifying architecture with N5 port on Note 3 - XDA Assist

Hi there.
I've realised an issue with regards to the Google Play store website (as opposed to the play store app), as a source of apps. Specifically this relates the roms ported from 64bit architectures such as the S6/Note 5 roms for the Note 3. Because now the play store recognises my device as a Note 5 (64bit), but in reality my device is only 32bits. So therefore, won't apks of the incorrect architecture be sent through to the device?, and is there anyway around this?
Obviously I can still use my devices app, but sometimes it is more convenient (as when I'm trying to recharge my device) to access the play store as I'm charging.
cheers in advance.
M

[Completed] [Q] lg g2 quick remote for s4 without root

I had lg g2 and now i bought galaxy s4 and i want to transfer the quick remote that it was very useful for meto s4 without root because watch on needs wifi and I usually used it out of home and I cant find always wifi.If anyone knows the way ,please help me!
Hi,
If that was a proprietary LG app, it likely won't be possible....as apps like that rely on the manufacturer framework to function. Perhaps you can find an alternative on the play store.
Feel free to ask in your device section for ideas,

[Completed] Verizon lg lucid 3 vsv876 Rom help

I have a lucid 3 that was a gift to me from an old friend. I'd live fully customize it but there is close to no development done for this phone.
To manage things worse there's an issue with the current software. I baby sign in to my Google account from the built applications wizard. I can't get on the store or use any of the built in Google apps note the apps that rely on a Google account being attached to the phone. It says that the connection is unsecured, unreliable, or non existant.
I really need a full stock recovery to begin with. This issue began after a master reset abd ding a second one produced no changes at all.
And any custom Rom that is functional would be amazing. I love this phone and i'd love to really are what it's capable of doing.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi!
Is your device using the bada software? If so, you can browse through here, and likely find answers, or can try asking for help here,

You likely need to be running Android. But I don't know much about your device, so research may lead to other ways. :good:

[Completed] No streetview on Chinese tablet

I have a cheap Chinese Android tablet, identified as a "SRE 10" running Android 4.4.2 Kitkat. Kernel 3.3.0, Quad core A31 cpu.
I downloaded Google Maps from the play store and that seems to work ok, though it is the "phone" version.
When I tried to use street view, all I got was a blurred blank screen. I went back to the store and downloaded the separate Google Street View app because I assumed that that must be needed in addition to Maps.
But no. Street View still does not work.
I am beginning to think that the Chinese origin of this device means that street view is disabled.
Any ideas?

[Completed] ePoS system running on Android and connect to another Android device instead of a...

Hi all
I've got a little food truck coming together and was looking at installing an ePoS.
There are many companies out there offering hardware and apps but not quite what im looking for.
I'd like to use an Android as a waiter/ cashier device and then send the order to the kitchen's Android device. Currently looking at using 2 Samsung S2 9.7 devices. The normal setup for all ePoS apps that I've found is that you can have a cashier/ waiter android but the order is sent to a BT printer or through a server to a standard EPSON (or similar) thermal paper printer.
i'm pretty sure that what i'm looking for is readily available but i'm not "feeling lucky" in my Google searches.
I don't want the added hardware like barcode scanners and card swipers. Just a couple of food orders from one tablet to the next.
If anyone can lead me in the right direction, I'd be truly grateful.
