I have a lucid 3 that was a gift to me from an old friend. I'd live fully customize it but there is close to no development done for this phone.
To manage things worse there's an issue with the current software. I baby sign in to my Google account from the built applications wizard. I can't get on the store or use any of the built in Google apps note the apps that rely on a Google account being attached to the phone. It says that the connection is unsecured, unreliable, or non existant.
I really need a full stock recovery to begin with. This issue began after a master reset abd ding a second one produced no changes at all.
And any custom Rom that is functional would be amazing. I love this phone and i'd love to really are what it's capable of doing.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi there,
I'm sorry but I can't find anything related to your question/device except this thread but not sure that help you: [FAQ] LG Lucid 4G by Verizon

my phone is somewhere here at home but i just can't find it. i want to install an app that lets me ring it remotely but the wifi is turned off so i was wondering if there is any way to turn on the wifi using my google account or something. is that possible? it's an xperia z if that even matters.
Hi,
I doubt that will be possible. Even if you could get an app remotely installed, You'd likely need to open it and set it up on your device before you could use it.
I'd say asking in the general forums will get you more attention than the Xperia Z section, and this isn't really device specific, so asking here would be best...

Good luck!
Thank you. Thread closed.
Got this tablet as a random gift and just want to use it on my desk to use for youtube, facebook, twitch stuff like that
is there any way i can root this and maybe put a newer version of Android on it?
Also does anyone know of accessories to make a tablet more desk friendly like stands?
Hi,
I can't find anything relevant on XDA for your device. You can ask for help with it here,

Good luck!
Hello Devs! I used the Build Prop editor (I am not rooted so not sure if this makes a difference) to change the split view value to true, told it to save & reboot, but the device does not reboot.
Should I be rooted for the change in value to save? When I open the app to view the setting again? My device has reverted back to the value of "False".
Perhaps I need to change some permissions or something first? I have made no other alterations to my G3 (other than downloading a few apps and customizing every hear & there).
Thanks in advance for any help you can suggest.

Hi,
You will need to register on XDA and ask for help in this dedicated help thread for your device,
> LG G3 > G3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting > [FAQ][HELP THREAD] LG G3 | Ask any question | FAQ in first post [Noob Friendly]
Good luck
So sorry! Trying not to be the typical "noob"
Sorry Devs. I had clicked a link that allowed for "quick questions for non-members", thinking I would have no need to be a member on a "developer site" cuz I'm not a dev. nor do I wish to be. But then I got interested in watching more of your videos & decided to go register so I can learn all the good stuff & post smart questions.
Long story short, I've now registered, got thru the "Noobie Instructs" and am now researching my device. I'm sure I will have many more questions as I go along, but see that your site is a treasure trove of information.
I was really hoping to avoid all this when I got started watching Youtube, interested mainly in some simple tweaks, but see now that I will just have to wade thru the shallows & learn as much as I can about Droid platform.
At worst I will at least be a smart user, right?
I NEVER should have allowed myself to be sucked in by Apple way back when, now I'm starting fresh with Droid cuz I wanted full control of my devices. Guess that's gonna exact the price of taking the time to learn about it smartly, so I Donny make changes I could be sorry for later!
Hello,
I've had 4 phones stolen from my store during a break-in and one of them is still configured with our account, so I can install software through the Play Store.
I also have the Life360 locator activated.
But even with these features the police can't seem to find reason to look into it.
Is there a way for me to install any software/app that can either record conversations or take/upload pictures from the people who stole it?
I'd like to recover the phones, especially since my insurance won't pay for them.
Thanks in advance.
Hi there,
You can try something from this thread:

Hi, I recently paired my samsung galaxy note 5 bluetooth with a stranger, who wants me to transfer a video i was taking for an event. I paired and transferred the video over to him but I cancelled it mid-way coz the file was over 700MB in size. The whole process probably took about half to 1 minute. My concern here is whether within that short period of time, was there any possibility that my phone would have been compromised, hacked and my personal data taken ? Thanks.

Hello, and welcome to XDA!
It's conceivable. BlueJacking, BlueSnarfing, and BlueBugging exists. And personal info is rather small. Not to freak you out, in that time it's possible for the other device to download your encrypted passwords top be cracked at a later point.
Probable is a different question. Depends partly on how much you trust this stranger. Personally, I would be looking to change my passwords just in case.

Hi Jim, thanks for the info and pointing out to me the right threads to go to. I will post my questions in the relevant threads. I have also registered myself an XDA account.
On your comments on resetting the passwords, I think I will do it. Though it will be quite a big exercise. But better to be safe than sorry. Anyways, curious to know, besides my encrypted password,s what are the other data that someone might be able to retrieve via bluetooth within that short period of time?
Cheers,
Raymond

I'm no expert on security; what else comes to mind is IMEI and cell phone number, maybe even address book. Unlike the password things, there really isn't any control over mitigating that.
Hopefully your encounter was on the up-and-up.
