I just accidentally deleted this inbuild app. After that my devise started to lag a lot. Then I formatted it. Now everything is working fine except the google services. I cannot add my google account now, cannot use any google app including play store. Following errors keep poppin : "com.process.google.gapps not responing", " play services not responding " for now I've disabled the play services and play store so the errors r not popping anymore. Please tell me if installing a rom will resolve this?
I'm using Micromax Canvas Express 2 and have installed CM 12 ROM.

Solution for unfortunately Google Play Store has stopped
This appears to be the solution to the error message unfortunately Google Play Store has stopped.
After more than 10 long hours of beating my head against this problem, I found it is not play store that is stopping but one of its subordinate processes. That is com.android.vending. I downloaded and installed that .apk, and the plat store was fully functional again.
Of course, I had previously cleared the data and cache for the Play Store app after uninstalling all updates.
You have helped me many times. Here's hoping this helps you.
Hi,recently i just flash and using this stock rom (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2560915) . After that when i try to install or update any apps from play store i facing error issue that says "error retrieving information from server.[RPC:5-3]". Can anyone solve this problem.I am very appreciated if anybody can solve it.
Can you go into your settings and clear the cache from the Google Play store, then clear the data from the Google Services Framework and force stop it. Then restart your device and proceed to Google Play and see if the issue persists.

Since last night i am unable to download apps or update apps through the google play store. I get an error 905. The phone was rooted . i have cleared data/cache in the download manager app , google play store, google play services. rebooted the phone but to no avail.
I have returned it to stock image without any custom recovery as well.
I created a new google account to check if this was a problem with my id , but this hasnt helped either.
Could you please help me out

Just uninstall the updates of the Google Play, and restart your phone. You can read the full explanation on http://technogiga.com/how-to-solve-error-905-in-android/
Hi everybody. I have a problem with my phone. I recently wiped datas, and reinstalled everything. Now, Play Store says to check the connection and retry. Also, Google Play Services crashes regularly (an IllegalArgumentException, something about ContentResolver and it couldn't start doInBackground because of unknow URI).
I already tried:
* Removing data for Google Play Services, Google Framework and so
* Uninstalling Xposed framewrok temporarly
* Using a VPN<br/>
So now I cant send and receive messages (I use Google Messenger) or use Google app.
I would wipe eveything, but I did already 3 days ago (no status bar), and two weeks ago
Thanks in advance friends

and after that directly update Google play services
