I just installed the GGR Gorans Goodrom on my u8650 and also updated my cwm recovery to version 5. something. I try to update any app or install a apk and it just reboots and never installs. I have it seto to install apps to sd card which is plenty big enough but it wont even do that. Please help. Thanks
install gapps from the post...and do a full wipe...

EDIT Never mind for now I think I figured it out. I installed latest google play store apk and now my apps update and install. So far so good. Thanks
hi,i have a xolo A500s...i had rooted it and deleted the basic file explorer,music player,browser and a few other apps...my phone got reset and now i dont have any of those apps...especially the file explorer...plus i had changed my msg and contacts..so i cant access any of them...without the file explorer i cant open my storage to install the app i have in my sd...i dont have google play either...plz help.....is there any way to recover the basic os with the basic apps?? i have android 4.2.2 ..

Do you have installed a custom recovery?? If not installed, use this --> CWM A500s
When you got working CWM you can easily flash GApps (google Play) -->http://d-h.st/lHg
Feel free to ask if ya need sth else...

BOOT into recovery mode [Power off ---> * press volume up + power botton]
simple put both files on your sd-card.
first install CWM
then restart recovery
the install GApps
any you're fine

You putted it in the ROOT of your sd card? not in any folders? Are you sure you have root acces?^

Well i found one in baidu cloud but i cant download. it is said to download the app first> register.
But i cant register because it requires national china mobile number can somebody upload it somewhere? or share a link?
I m doing this because i need root and recovery for my device to
1. Stay at latest and greatest
2.Stay stock as possible
3.Delete Korean junk(bloatware)
4.Install Xposed(modify)
5.Clear the korean typings in the phone.apk
6.dual window(unlimit the apps)

well in instructions clearly said
install KK stock
root it and install cwm
put SU (compatible with lollipop), LP stock, Philz (compatible with lollipop)
flash LP stock(dont reboot)
flash SU & PHILZ(the reason i m searching for stock lollipop zip)
wipe& reboot.
Is there a way to install CWM directly from 20b firmware??
I have downloaded official cm12.1 nightly builds and installed it . But the gapps wont install i have downloaded 5.1arm64 , pagapps but none of them installed
please can any 1 give me correct link of gapps supported on yuphoria

I have a rmx2155 (Realme 7) and there's a software update for my device. Where is it downloaded to and how can I stop it from being deleted after installing?
I want to extract and patch it. And If there's an update anyway, then why should I download it twice, one for installing and one for patching on PC?

Why not find the update on the internet and download it from the web instead of trying to download and extract the OTA update?
