[Completed] can't access forum using Tapatalk - XDA Assist

Hi
Today as many times in the past I can't access the forum using Tapatalk app from either my Nexus 6 running latest Pure Nexus build with Marshmallow or my LG G Pad 8.3 runnig official Rom with 4.44. In the past clearing the apps cache and/or data solved the problem but today nothing helps, I keep getting login net_config error
Some while ago I created Tapatalk account signed in using G+ and in the past clearing data caused program to ask for username and password but today even after clearing data and cache, uninstalling the app, rebooting the phone, re-installing the app and adding xda-developers site it trying to login without asking me for the username and password and if you tap on me icon on the bottom right corner it shows the profile screen with sign out option. Tried several different 5.2 and 5.3 versions with the same result. Have no clue where it takes login info.
Any help is appreciated

Hi and thank you for using XDA Assist
Yeah you're not the only one, it happens also in my case. But i think it will be solved, it is just temporary and it's not an XDA problem but a tapatalk one.

Anyone getting market download errors (495) when trying to update?

I have no success updating my apps, I get an error 495 for the updates. I have cleared the cache, and still persists. Any ideas?

Having this issue as well after updating to the new Google Play app. Although, I'm unsure of whether it's the apps fault or the fact that I got a new modem. Will be testing with another wi-fi connection today.

Maybe synchronization with your Google account? You could try to go to settings and synch your account or remove it and re-add it. Things like that. If you did everything you could with the app then the account may just be acting up.
I've noticed the Market/Play will tell me an update is available when it's not and randomly the tablet will tell me to log into Google account with no loss on WiFi connectivity. I usually reboot to solve that. Good luck.

are you rooted? i have the same problem when updating apps. it justs hangs there.
problem fixed at last!!!
I finally managed to solve the problem. Just follow these steps, but bear in mind that i'm using a custom ROM so it might be a little different with you. Go to Settings > Wireless and network > Mobile networks > Access Point Names (or APN). Now select the APN that u are using. (I chose MTN Data since i'm MTN. Now go to "Proxy". There should be a number in there, delete everything that's in there and leave that field blank. Go to "Port" and clear everything as well. It worked for me.hope it works for u too. Let me know.
Yeee Peeeee!!!

Hey there
I'm running latest stock-rooted-deodexed Darkman_RS's 4.1.2 on my 8013
I've been getting this message lately, not right from when I flashed and debolated.
I've searched for that string on App manager and Titanium Backup to see if wiping data helped but I cannot find it.
Help please? thanks!
Factory reset still a problem reflash the rom .
jje
Go into settings, accounts, find your Google account and tap on it. On the right hand side tap on your Google account again and scroll down and disable 'sync internet'. You probably find this stops galls crashing.

Delete your google account and sign in again, no need to factory reset or any thing

[Q] [HELP] 403 Google play error, help!

Hello awesome people at xda forums!
I had my N5 for about 2 weeks now, for the first week i've used stock, but i had to try som new roms/kernels so i installed cataclysm rom with franco kernel. I had no problems everything worked great, and google play worked. On my old phone i had xposed framework, and a few modules. I've downloaded it on my N5 and got "keepchat, bootmanger, greenify and gravitybox. Everything still worked great, i used some of the features with gravitybox and enabled some feature where i had to reboot my phone. Something i about statusbar, not really sure though. I've hot rebooted, and my phone kept crashing "system ui crashed" and i tried normal reboot, still crashing. I've factory reset with twrp and used a stock 4.4.2 backup i had, and i was about to download busybox then i got some errors. I think i got a 920 error at first, I've searched the whole web and found a solution. (Or i thought i did) Then it gave me a 403 error, I've spent my whole day trying to find a solution, but could not find any. Heres what I've tried:
Reboot phone. *same issue*
Wipe cache and data from google play, then reboot. *same issue*
Sign out of google account, then wipe cache and data from google play and google services framework, then reboot and sign in. *same issue*
Make a new google account and use it to download apps. *same issue*
Wipe dalvik cache and cache from twrp. *same issue*
Install a update for google play *same issue*
Check for proxy, had none.
I think my APN is fine, not sure though.
I've mixed some of the options above, but still with the same stupid error "403"
My question is, is my N5 bricked? If not, is there a solution to this problem?
Best regards,
Kristoffer
If your phone turns on in any capacity, it's not bricked. That term is only supposed to be used when your phone is rendered completely useless and turned into a paperweight or wait for it.... a brick.
If I were in your shoes I would just flash the factory image from Google and start over again. That'll get you back on your feet.

Disregard my previous post. I just read an article that says apparently everyone is having play store issues today and getting the 403 error.

Cm 11 m4 rebooted self and now all accounts missing

I am on cm 11 m4 stock kernel and its been crashing/rebooting on me occasionally. Earlier today it did so and now all my accounts (2xgmail, fb, twitter, cm)and text messages are gone. Other data appears to be intact such as XDA and untappd. Anyone able to provide any tips to help figure out what the hell is going on and possibly where my accounts all went?
Not at a PC now so I'll have to do some searching. The XDA app searching is not so good...

sounds like data corrupted after a crash. do you use fsync off? if it crashes often for you, id look for a new rom thats more stable than cm(no, cm isnt the epitome of stable).
Unless fsync is defaulted off in bone stock cm then no I don't.
Likely going to go try some others after this incident.

I've seen this happened many times before I don't think it's a ROM issue but more a recovery issue. try rebooting one or two more times to see if everything works as normal I notice sometimes the data partition wont mount correctly and hence the lack of accounts
Seen this with stock too update to twrp 2.7 and see if the reboots help to mount the ddata partition.
I've rebooted multiple times but it didn't help with bringing back what was lost. Tried fix perms also to no avail. Just updated to twrp 2.7 and did another fix perms but no change. Now that I've re-setup a few accounts those are staying just fine and new SMS messages since the problem are there. It's odd because it is acting like I wiped data but only for apps that have an account under the system settings menu.

Google Now Error

I bought the One plus One a few days ago and when I tried to set up Google Now, it gave me "Check your network and try again" error. I've tried clearing cache and data and even a complete factory reset. The issue is not the connection as everything else is working perfectly and Google Now is working perfectly on another Nexus 4 and Galaxy S5 I own. Any help on this issue would be appreciated
When i flash a new rom and set google now up again , i also get the error once but then i just repeat it without clearing cache or anything and after that it works
