Qi wireless charging is here. - LG V10 Accessories

Though LG has not yet released their Qi back yet or any information regarding when they plan to, I've seen the Qi wireless charging receiver sticker for sale on eBay.

Worth risking twelve bucks if it just plain doesn't work. But like yoniinfante said, maybe not worth risking cost of new phone if it catches fire.

wow i might get this i did get them for the notes from china and they were great, and they dont catch fire the power out put isnt high enough but there is no fast charing on those things well untill they up the voltes which might stop your cell signal.

How would it catch fire.. lol its just a coil. They sell diy kits.
Anyways here's some backs with nfc and qi stickers already installed. Links thanks to OP.

Can the chips/sticker's be installed with the stock back cover or does it have to have a new cover?

Stickers can be put on your back cover but you're gonna have to remove your old one. Ive done it on my G4. YMMV at your own risk!

Doesn't fast charging have more to do with the current (amps) delivered by the charger and the logic in the phone's charging circuit than with the Qi sticker?
Choetech does have a fast Qi charger that they claim is compatible with Samsung Note and S6 edge.

Does anybody know if it would it be able to fast-charge an LG V10 with an aftermarket Qi sticker, or will it just charge at slower speed?

I just ordered this one from AMAZON,a pre-assembled QI/NFC enabled cover.

While it closely resembles the OEM cover, the material is a hard plastic, according to a description from another seller on e-Bay.
I went with AMAZON this time,as this one is currently 1/2 the price of the indentical one from e-Bay.
EDIT:
Now that I've re-read the description, this one too says it is of (p)leather construction.
So,I'm guessing this listing is just as the others, but, using a render of the OEM Cover w/some editing (V10 Branding is absent, otherwise,a dead ringer for the original).
Either way,it's an inexpensive cover,it'll do regardless, but, still waiting for the real deal from LG to become available...............................

Yeah, it seems to contradict itself, just a translation thing, I believe, as the description clearly addresses both the sticker & the cover.
I'll contact the seller to verify both the appearance & what is included & update when I get a response.

Tried to find one someplace other than China but no luck. I'm going to roll the dice and hope that now that they are being produced, I can get one from a US seller sooner than when Amazon and eBay promise delivery in mid-late December. With my luck, it won't happen, but I'll give it a shot. :silly:

Not too worried about delivery dates @ these prices, regardless of where it's coming from.
Once the free battery kit arrives, I'll seldom plug-in or wireless charge.
It's nice to have though, I'd rather have it & not need it than vice versa.....

Got an initial response from the seller just moments ago :
They thought I was talking about the color choices.
I re-iterated my question for clarity & requested actual photos of what was being shipped.
I'll keep you posted on whether this is a battery cover only,or,a flip case w/charging capabilities.
I'm still hoping for the former,I've tried several flip cases & no one has mastered a design that works well when the flap is folded back,I.E.,they all suck.

I would recommend the iBolt XPro Dock. Looks to be big enough to handle most any case as well as supporting devices up to the size of the Note.
As an added bonus it puts the device into docking mode automatically.
I agree. the Ibolt is great.

i had this dock, it wobbled everywhere, all the little extra features are just annoying. also required 2 hands to put the phone in as for the samsung dock one hand works.
The Craigsdocks dock is far and away the best charging dock I've ever used.
It is VERY low-profile. Much better looking, sturdier and less intrusive than the iBolt dock (and easier to use). At the same time, it offers true one-handed insert/removal. Extremely easy. No docking your phone and then attaching the charge cord. It all gets done in a single one-handed operation.
And it works with all the large cases. It even works with Note II and probably the III when it comes out. So you buy one dock and use it for ANY 4" to 6" phones that have the MicroUSB plug at the bottom of the phone. It's unbelievably easy to use and you don't have to worry about buying a new dock every time you buy a new phone.
Which makes the ~$60+ price tag easier to swallow.
http://www.craigsdocks.com/samsung-galaxy-s3-s4-note-ii-car-dock/
Also, you can easily retrofit the dock for charge-only cable, analog USB audio cable or even USB-OTG/USB-DAC audio cables. Any of the three fit and can be quickly swapped out.
I plug my USB charging cable into a 2A charger so I get full 1900 mAh charging rate while driving.
Look how tiny this thing is. Less than 1/2 the size of that bulky iBolt dock. Amazing that it works with S4 or Note 3 phones.
And I just draped the single cable down the back of my dash so it's all very un-intrusive.

Hmm, I just noticed Craigsdocks re-vamped the style of the dock. It's now slightly larger looking and the USB-Cable install looks easier to swap out, but not quite as clean looking as before when the cable was angled towards the rear. Now it's angled straight out to the right.

Thanks. I watched the manufacturing video. It's definitely not a Made in China stuff, but the price tag is hefty. However, considering it's quite universal, it's a good (not great) price. I remember before Amazon and eBay were flooded with cheap stuff, this kind of things used to cost around that much if not more.

I have just got an S4 and will be alternating between the Spigen S-View case and a Zero lemon TPU case with the 7500 battery. How do you adjust the Craigs dock USB port to take in to account of the distance from the back of the case to the USB port? If it is easy to adjust then this would be perfect for me.

On my older version, there are a few allen type screws. The newer version looks like there is just one screw.
So you move the charger port forwards and back. Once you get to the spot where it perfectly slides into the phone, then you tighten down the screw.
On mine, it was super stable. I've not had to re-adjust since I originally set it up months ago.
The dock works with any case. But I don't know if it works with 7500 extended batteries? Might want to double-check with the Craigsdocks guy. He's really good about responding to questions quickly.
Yeah, so you see how the arrows I put in this pic go up and down? That is how the charging port adjusts.
It does not adjust left/right (not necessary) but it does adjust up/down for thicker vs. slimmer cases.

[VIDEO] Samsung Galaxy S5 Water Damaged - QI Wireless Charger

(forward to 1:16 if you just want to watch the underwater video)
The only reason I pulled this out of my thread is to make sure it is visible. The question arose whether or not an aftermarket QI receiver will cause the Galaxy S5 to leak water. The answer is in the video. You can actually hear the phone start to malfunction. I knew this was a high risk trial. It was a gamble and I lost. Well technically my wife lost. She now hates the Note 3 I have her using .

If you look at the picture above, you can see the smooth path around the inside of the device that the seal on the battery door matches up with. Sometimes you will notice air bubbles come out of the phone when you submerge it. This is probably because water is allowed to get into areas up to the seal.
Now look at the QI receiver pad's ribbon cable that protrudes on the top left. One of the QI prongs is located within the seal path. Naturally the ribbon was in seal path as well. In addition to this, the small amount of bulk added under the cover could have been just enough to affect the small seals. Perhaps you could cut the ribbon ever so slightly, and do other modifications to make the pad thinner. Who really wants to do that and re-perform this test though?
I am definitely not accusing Samsung for any failure on their part. There are articles about the S4 Active having issues and AT&T doing on time courtesy replacements for those devices (unmodified). I checked with AT&T for S&Gs to see if there were any reports of S5s with issues. They said no. Only time will tell. This is not a warranty issue anyways because I modified the device.
The setup was tested with in a bathroom tub with the device off earlier in the day. It passed. No water seeped past the door seal. I should have tested it a few times at various depths up to 12" and moved the phone around to encourage water to get in. Starting at 1 second, 5 seconds, 10 seconds etc. Small tests would have minimized the amount of water that could have entered the phone without detection.
My recommendation is to not use the device on purpose for underwater photography. Take measures if you are going to be in an environment which could potentially result in your phone getting wet. Make sure all the seals are in tact and do not press buttons while the phone is submerged. It might not be a factor but why try?
If you ever notice water getting into your phone, no matter what make or model, turn it off immediately, take out the battery, and inspect. Upon inspection, should you notice any moisture, dry the phone for 24-48 hours at a minimum. This phone DID NOT die immediately. It actually just got worse over time. I should have dried it for about half a week I'm thinking. Remember, it's not really the water that does the damage to the circuitry. It's the electricity that is running though the water and shorting out components. Water seeping into the display probably isn't good in general but just trying to make a point. Initially it was only the home button that was malfunctioning (registering as being pressed the whole time). Screen was fine and everything. Then it had problems turning on. Hours later, when it did turn on, the screen was going. Hours after that, the screen would not turn on at all.
Please like the video and subscribe so my wife doesn't kill me...
**ADDED**
Underwater wireless charging . Explains where the water probably came from and demonstrates the failure.
The S4 Active actually has a snap in the center of the device. Your S5 does not. Just a random tidbit.

Thank you for confirming what was already highly speculated to be the case. Unfortunately your efforts will not stop the slew of idiots who think their 3rd party Qi receiver hack will still leave their phone IP67 compliant.

True but it's also a shame that they always make the phone thicker. I purchased one for the S4 just to give a little feedback and never used it again.
If some people got them and did a case compatibility thread, that'd be nice.

The oem cover is only good if you don't intend to use a case, there is quite a small percentages that don't use cases, and many case manufacture won't make one case in two size to accommodate the two sizes of covers.
This is probably the first phone to support wireless charging with IP67.

It will be good, but it doesn't seem like they will with their past experiences, the market is too small to open a production line.
Why would anyone be surprised about this outcome. Pretty expensive lab experiment too. That had fail written all over it using a 3rd party device like that. I would not try underwater video even with the stock phone. I think the intention of making this phone IP67 rated was more for the accidental toilet, sink, pool drop, etc. If you want to do underwater video I would suggest getting a GoPro.

I agree on this, the ip67 is only for safety measures and not for anyone to put into water on purpose.
Thats why when members asked me about ip67 in my post regarding qi receiver, i just totally ignore them.
So you added thickness to the back cover using the qi receiver and say the phone is water damaged. Why didn't you test it with the official samsung qi enabled back cover?
Because I make Youtube videos? I was 75% sure that something was going to go wrong. I could live with the outcome. If you can't, don't even try.
Have you ever seen drop tests?
- Added underwater charging video which also shows about how much water gets in with an aftermarket wireless pad stuffed under the cover.
- Added picture which illustrates what was probably worse than the ribbon cable being in the track of the seal.

I have ordered a oem Qi S5 cover. I'll post when I get it if there are issues (but since I am in Canada and have ordered from US, I suspect that I will be late to the party and we will have the answer already).

Ahh got it. Thanks! I have been watching threads and I totally missed these pictures.
Well, agreed that this is unfortunate (but in hindsight, expected).
Looks like it adds camera protection thankfully. I'm loving my Ringke Slim though so I'll have to decide. I have the black cover coming.
I guess the only real perfect solution is to have the QI capabilities built-in so that variances like this don't happen.
Thanks again and I'll check the thread a bit closer and see the comments, etc.

Welcome...
I was bored so I threw another device in the water. Nano coating... I like...
Unfortunately I learned this the hardway today I forgot the qi pad would probably not allow the seal to complete and now my phone is in a bag of rice sitting on the window sill hoping and praying, I also oredered a new battery in hopes to fool the at&t associate into thinking it is a manufacturer malfunction fingers crossed
Oh no my video was pointless. Jk.. Sorry to hear that though. The longer you can wait the better.
Don't blow into the phone either thinking you can get the water out. You'll probably just push it deeper.
PM me if your run out of options.

Yes its thicker but hardly any differenece
Only thing is we can use it more with Plastic covers
but its not not bad & i prefer to stick with the original back charging cover from Samsung

I would say almost the same time charging like with the wire

PMA Charging Behavior

I know most are still trying to figure out the Qi vs PMA thing. I have converted to PMA and I am wondering if this is normal. I place my phone on the powermat overnight and wake up to only 96-99% charged. What I have found is the phone fully charges but then will stop itself from charging and drain. When I had a Qi charger on my other phones they stayed topped off. It seems this is a protection mode but I am wondering if it is necessary. My hope is a custom rom can disable this and we can keep out phones topped off on PMA chargers. Anyone else seeing this as well? Thoughts.
unrelated and I'm sorry for the off topic. but I am interested in the PMA charger and just don't have any experience with them. how does it compare to Qi. particularly I am interested in heat generation and charge speed. maybe in relation to USB charging as well as Qi charging

Well, I have seen it compared to VHS vs Betamax and that is the truth. If you are old enough to remember that battle then you understand. If not, I would say it this way, Qi is VHS and PMA is Betamax. Sony and betamax had a much better product but VHS won because more companies jumped on board. I have used Qi charging on my last few phones. Its easy and works well. Overall though, PMA charges faster with higher voltages and I do not find my phone nearly as warm. It also has magnetic centering to keep the phone in the middle of the coil. There are some quirks, like the one I am asking about in this thread. I never had this problem with Qi. Its more of an inconvenience as in the morning, I have to take my phone off the charger and replace it. It will re-engage and charge to full again. I really think this is a protective measure.
This would seem to be a serious issue as well considering this and the lgg2 spend an hour plus at 100%.I really don't want to move to PMA, this may actually be the show stopper thanks for posting
If PMA is better then why are so many against AT&T using it?
I don't give a hoot which is better or not. The effing problem is that there isn't crap for options when it comes to PMA. If my only choice is that flip case, then I go without wireless charging. It was ridiculous of AT&T to go in this direction when NO ONE else supports it. LG didn't even bother to make a charging back for it. That's what bothers me the most. If i had to buy a new PMA charger fine, but give me something to put on my phone.

Stinks you can't just buy a replacement back, but you can remove the charging circuit from the circle case and install it in your original back. It's a tight fit, but that's what I did. Also, it stays topped off at 100%.
No problems with losing charge here. In the morning it's full 100%. Took a few times to find the sweet spot on the powermat but I am happy. First time using wireless charging btw.

It's a tight fit due to the metal disc located in the center. The circle case has an indentation for it where the stock cover doesn't. Had to reposition the bottom part one time so the cover would snap on.
Just took my time. Heated with a hair dryer. Peel a little. Reheat and peel a little more. Rinse and repeat until I had it all the way off. The glue is pretty stubborn.

What king of chargers are you guys using. I have those Duracell Powermat with the iPhone 4 cases AT&T was closing out at $10. Maybe that's my problem. I'm using the same case so it just about has to be that. I'll buy a different one if needed but mine definitely stops charging at 100% and then drains. Another weird behavior is before I had the PMA and used a USB, the phone would alarm over and over when it got to 100% telling me to disconnect the charger. Anyone else see this? I thought this was weird too but I was using a 2.1 wall usb charger and not the stock one supplied in the box. It doesn't do this in my car though.

Ok that's the same one I am using accept it had an iPhone case. Mine definitely quits charging when it hits 100%. Are you sure yours doesn't cut off as well? Even when I am charging the portable battery, the mat will quit charging when it is full. The little light on the bottom of the mat turns off as well showing it is no longer charging. I have 2 of these mats and they both act the same way.

It's always 100% when I pick it up.
Ok, so was kind of perturbed that AT&T went this route as already have a few Qi chargers that I invested in. Am thinking of still moving forward with the upgrade as it appears the PMA chargers are cheap at the moment. For those that are using the PMA charging, how's the charging rate / how longer does it take to fully charge? Also hows the heat when charging? This is one issue I do have with my Qi chargers in that if I do not place my S4 in the "sweet spot" the phone gets excessively warm.
Also question to americasteam, how's the bulge on the back of the phone now that you have transplanted the PMA coil. Can you still fit the phone into a standard case or is it too big now? If possible would be great if you could post a picture of the side showing the increase in size. I mention this as I went thru this with my S4 and and had to search for a "thin" Qi adapter that would still allow use of case. Most caused to large a bulge and prevented certain cases from fitting. Since there is presently only one PMA Coil available, like to know how well the transplant worked (size wise).
Thanks

The case looks like it might be slightly raised where it meets the volume rocker on the volume down side. I have no idea if it was originally like this or if it's caused by the charging coil. Also, I don't use a case so have no idea what effect it would have.

Any case will work fine as long as the opening of the Micro USB port is wide enough for the adapter.

Yep, very good! I bought several of them. Great for kids tablets because if they don't shatter the screen, they break the charging port. The magnetic charging saves the port.
I ordered one of these cables a month ago from the eBay link in post #9 by Tiker above, it just arrived a few minutes ago and I have to say I'm a bit disappointed. The photos above (perhaps the one the OP got was a bit different from mine) show that the microUSB portion of the cable sits flush with the bottom of the Flex 2, or at least the photos shown make it seem that way. Of course the one in the OP was from a name brand (PLESON) and not a totally generic piece of crap like the one I got from the eBay seller so please note this entire post is a rant about the cheap one - the PLESON one is apparently "what this should have been" so, my comments below are about the cheap one from the eBay seller.
The one I got is too long in terms of how far it juts out from the Flex 2 as pictured (if you click these thumbnails you'll get the full size images so, be aware):
The cable itself seems to be of decent construction but that's about all I can say at this point. The microUSB aspect needs to be roughly one-half as long as it currently is to get it flush against the bottom of my Flex 2 - and yes it is most definitely pushed into the microUSB socket as far as it will physically go so no I'm not just lightly pushing it into place and complaining about it. It's obvious the one I got is a cheap one, you can tell much by looking at how badly the microUSB housing on the plug is: it's all dented and bent with a lot of non-smooth surface issues in the one picture above.
There's a possibility that each of these could be completely different; the OP's model appears to be pretty close to flush as already noted, but in my situation that's just not the case. I measured the length of the microUSB plug itself and it's 9/32" which is quite long indeed. It seems like the length should be ~3/16" which would make it damned near perfectly flush when inserted fully on any microUSB port out there.
This of course makes this cable and the magnetic aspect of the microUSB plug completely useless to me unfortunately. Another thing: the microUSB plug is so loose in my microUSB port that when I gently tug on the cable - hoping to cause it to separate as designed because it's held in place by that magnetic force - guess what happens? The whole thing comes unplugged from the phone but the microUSB plug stays attached to the cable because the magnet is just a bit too strong.
Oh well, it's not like I paid $30 for this or something, just about $4 shipped so, it's not worth going through the hassles of returning it to China for a refund. I'll keep it, might find some use for it at some point, who knows.
Another problem: the pogo pins in the cable end aren't fully "loose" on the one I got - in fact, one of the pins was half-stuck in position and not fully extended. I had to take a pair of forceps and pull it out to get it working properly again; my needle nose pliers were too thick to get a grip on it but the forceps worked fine - I highly recommend getting a decent pair of forceps if you're into working with small electronics components.
I fixed that issue and it does work but again the issue with the plug sticking out too far is the main one. It's such an amazingly simple idea but I suppose it's in the execution to get it right but then again I did choose to save some cash and I did buy from the eBay seller so, I'll take the blame on this in the long run.
Do I recommend this for anyone else? I would have to say no because you might end up getting one like mine where it just sticks out from the bottom of the Flex 2 way too much - on mine it's literally 1/8" out from the phone. The press images in the eBay ad show it completely flush against a device it's used with and that's just not the case. microUSB ports are standardized so they should all be exactly the same depth from port end to deepest insertion point and this plug on the cable is just about 1/8" too long honestly but it's following the standard I suppose. Wish I could just cut it to length but that would end up destroying it entirely so that's not a workable solution.
Great idea, crappy execution would be my opinion. Had high hopes for this to save wear and tear on my microUSB port(s) as I'd probably use it on my next device when I replace this Flex 2 but, as it is I can't make use of it in general so it'll just go in a drawer till some reason to pull it out happens.
Buyer beware, that's my advice. The OP seems to be really happy with his/her cable(s) so that's nice, but I'm definitely not with mine. The pictures in the eBay ad technically aren't even the product I bought - the pictures show one (they're renders more than likely) with a 3/16" microUSB plug length which is of course spot on where it should be and not what I ended up getting.
Good luck...
ps
Note that the one I got from an eBay seller is not the same item that the OP got from Amazon and after looking at a review video of the one from Amazon (the PLESON brand one) it does apppear that those are using microUSB plugs that are definitely a bit shorter, not by much but enough to get the plug to sit as flush as it can against the device when inserted. It's quite possible (and likely) that the cheap POS I got from the eBay seller is one that just doesn't have any quality control and uses microUSB plugs that are, as stated, just too damned long.
My issues are with this cheapy version, spending more money on the obviously higher quality one from the Amazon seller (at 3-4x the cost) will probably be much more useful to anyone interested.
@br0adband I am still using it on all my devices and G Flex 2 is still working fine charging at QC 2.0. I also have another pair by Yootech too which cost $15 from Amazon. Too bad I have the 6p and 5X now which uses Type C ,they don't have any of this type yet. On the safe I always order from Amazon because of the easy returns policy.

Battery Replacement

Does anyone know where to buy a replacement battery for the Moto X Pure? The only one I have found is a 2800 mAh on amazon, which is less than the 3000 mAh stock battery.
Hi, search on Ebay for Motorola FX30 battery, there should be two sellers shipping from US (assuming you are in US...). It is around 30 something. I just purchased one that's delivered today, will have to see how it goes... Yes, these are OEM batteries listed as 2800 mah or so, I think it is fine. I think the battery rating is 3000 mah is the average or something like that, but 2800 mah or so is the minimum guaranteed capacity.
I have been hunting for a replacement battery for more than a month, tried two previous sellers that don't actually have them in stock but still accepted my orders.

Yep. I did the search too. I live in a decently large city and for those few cell phone repair shops who would even work on the phone, their source for the battery: eBay.
Somehow I got shipped two batteries... One is cameron sino, another one generic no brand... weird. I am going to use the Cameron Sino one...
OK, the battery is installed. It is lasting normal now, I think, but have to try a few charge/discharge cycle to see how good it is.
One corner of the back cover is not sticking too well now, I may need to apply some more glue to it.... :/ It probably is no longer water proof....

Oh boy, and this is now $10 cheaper on ebay! http://www.ebay.com/itm/302268743972#rwid
well... it's worth it even at $35 that I paid, no complains.
Update: never mind, it's out of stock.
I ordered one today off Ebay. I'll be looking up the tear apart video. How difficult would you say it is to take them apart and get back together. Mine comes with the tools. Anything else I need to purchase to be ready?

Adhesive to reapply the back cover if not included. Be careful when removing the back plate to prevent damage.
Use the AccuBattery app to calculate the capacity of your battery. I have also tried to purchase an original Motorola battery (Germany) but was not able to find it, so I settled for generic items of 2800 mAh.
my motox has like 40-60% original capacity and needs a new battery bad... but i have the wood back on mine so and dont feel confident in getting it off without destroying it...

Be that as it may unlike some reports I have seen my wood back fit tight and nearly seem less I would need to begin prying near the rear mic. And hope the heat gun got the glue soft enough to let me peel the wood off. Just seemed like a lot of dangerous work just to have the phone continue with the weird glitches it has developed over the 2 years I owned it. Way I see it the next owner can take that risk the phone is in mint condition except for software glitches and battery wear and a weird pattern the silicon case liner left on the wood but that rubs off and will probably go away completely if left out of that case. I still have the box and bumper and I think 5 cases for it as well as a unused glass screen protector to replace the haloed one on it. I bought every case under 15 dollars on amazon trying to find one I liked... All were either too cheap feeling or had some flaw. The one I think I liked the most was the semi hard Beatle in blue I tried using heat to remove the frosting on it and warped the case a bit but it was a clear case. I did get a clear case but it turned yellow very quickly...
I bought a vhbw battery and it's quite good!
Got it from eBay from a German seller.

Battery replacement
I'm about to take the plunge. I have the new battery and adhesive sticker for the back. Based on the video I watched, it seems to be a straight forward process. I did not order a new back because mine has the diagonal ridges on it which would seem to indicate that it's just a simple plastic back.
Wish me luck!
Update on the replacement: I followed the directions from this video to a T ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YZYsfBqnEbU ). Everything went great except for one thing not shown in the video - when removing the buttons, be aware of the 3 tiny spring pins the buttons press against. Mine came out and I did not realize it until I put everything back together. The phone powered up as soon as I plugged the battery connections in but now I could not turn it on or off and no volume control either. I decided that as long as I could keep it powered on, I could control volume thru settings.
Monday, I was leaving work, and in trying to get an idea of battery usage/stats, I did not keep it fully charged. My boss called me and immediately afterwards, the phone died. So, knowing I could not power it on, I headed to Best Buy and picked up a Moto G5+ (64Gb storage/4Gb ram) for $299.I had not planned to replace my MXPE so soon but that's life!
Hey, I just got the same battery, vhbw, but this question is for anyone here who replaced their batteries:
Did your batteries come already curved? I was in the middle of installing it when I realized it's not curved and I'm scared of bending it myself (I don't want to upgrade my phone to a Note 7).
Did you guys just force it in, bent it beforehand? I can't close the phone back up without bending the battery...
Thanks for any help.
@bv90andy
I bended the battery on the case where it rests otherwise you cannot close the phone. It will bend just a little bit, the problem may be repositioning the NFC antenna contacts.

Well, after some back and forth with the seller who goes by the same name as the battery brand (so I'm guessing they sell directly on ebay), they asked me the code on the original battery and the battery I received from them, then they decided to refund my money and told me a replacement would not solve the problem and to dispose of the battery.
After videos I've seen of Li-ion batteries going up in flames I'm not too happy about bending it myself.
I'd still like to know if any of the other people here bought batteries already curved, or they had to do the same thing and bent them themselves.
Has anyone had a FLASH Fires from NON-OEM Batteries Turbo-Charge yet?
