Accidentally broke Ultra Power Saver - Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note5

I was setting things up, and noticed there were a ton of frozen apps. I assumed being frozen they wouldn't affect anything being deleted. I was wrong, Emergency Manager Service fc every restart. Then i get a toast stating that emergency manager service just flagged configuring device, when i try to turn on ultra power saver. I stumbled across the frozen apps in titanium backup. Anyone would be kind enough to throw me the files for the Ems?

[Q] Black screen after uninstalling Nuance with titanium backup, impossible to flash

I think I killed my phone hahaha! Right when I need it for job interviews :silly:
So I rooted my phone, installed Titanium backup to uninstall useless applications on my LG optimus one (LGP500H). Started backing up everything and removing one application at a time, being careful. When I got to "Nuance", I thought it was a useless program for voice control, so I backed it up then uninstalled. Then before it finished (Or after, I don't know), "force close" messages kept looping and I couldn't get out. So I restarted my phone (managed to do this between two "force close" messages).
Surprise, my phone reboots, but to a black screen with only the notification area up top. When I lock then unlock the screen, I see my background, then I swipe to unlock the screen and it goes back to that black screen. Even the "Search" hard button does not show up anything. So all I can do is check my notifications, turn on/off the wireless, gps, data, sound. Nothing else.
So I decided it was time to install CyanogenMod, but found out you absolutely need to install ClockworkMod to reboot in recovery mode. So I'm stuck. Can't do anything, can't find on google how to flash CM without ClockworkMod, no idea what is the problem.
I even tried to reset to factory default, I get past the configuration screens to choose the language and the time, then it goes back to the black screen. So I need to completely wipe my phone and replace it with cyanogen mod, I think it's past trying to recover anything.
I saw one other guy with that problem on google and nobody really answered.
EDIT:
I think maybe I just found out that I might have deleted the home screen somehow? although I didn't delete anything that I wasn't sure of.
If anybody else has this problem and can't get an answer like me, I figured out the solution.
Send a message text to your phone from a friend's phone with a link to the market for any application. Then find Titanium backup and install it. you will be able to run it from the notification area, then find your backups, and reinstall them. Boo-yah!

[Q] twlauncher and android.process.acore unexpectedly stopped.

Hello and thanks for your efforts! I recently got a Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G SGH - T769 for T Mobile but as I have Verizon I can not use it, so I decided to use it as a toy basically. I did a factory data reset then successfully rooted it using blaze-root-kernel.tar, blaze.pit, and using Odin 1.85 and everything was working fine. I installed Titanium Backup pro, backed up entire phone which was basically just the stock apps, just for the purpose of removing bloatware and if necessary restoring them later. My daughter got ahold of my phone, went into Titanium and froze, and uninstalled the contacts app. I restored it but because it was frozen it did not appear in my applications window. Of course I tried defrosting it but when I would check it still wasn't showing up. Also I noticed that the phone app was gone too. Im not sure if she deleted them, I guess it's possible. I tried rebooting after restoration, nothing. So I did another factory data reset, which I read in a few places would not harm my phone to do so after it's been rooted. After the factory reset it had all the animations and went to screen that says touch the droid to start. I touched it. It said to sign in to google account I hit sign in button and the screen went black and kept showing messages saying twlauncher has unexpectedly stopped and another saying android.process.acore has unexpectedly stopped. I re-performed the rooting process ( blaze-root-kernel.tar, blaze.pit, Odin 1.85 )stil nothing. Any how now when I turn on my phone the lock screen works but when I swipe everything goes black again and the messages (unexpectedly stopped) appear every few seconds. I can however see and pull down notifcations bar menu and play with wifi, bluetooth, gps, etc. Its actually connected to the house wifi right now. I can also long press the home button and pull up recent applications menu (its empty) and I can also enter task manager from here. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Any help is greatly appreciated!

[Q] VZW Note Edge Safe Mode

hi friends, hope all is well with ya. i have a question, for anyone else with a VZW Note Edge that they obtained on release date or shortly afterwards. does anyone else have a phone that's booting in Safe Mode, and will NOT exit out of Safe Mode whatsoever? I had some trouble activating it (despite VZW's simple instructions of just popping the new SIM in the phone and turning it on) so i got that taken care of, but even when I first booted it up initially, it was still in Safe Mode. There's a notification in the drop down bar stating, "Safe Mode is enabled" and to tap it to disable Safe Mode, which essentially just restarts the phone. and every time it boots back up, it's still in Safe Mode, which restricts any/all customization whatsoever, and what is the point of having a phone if you can't customize it. thankfully i still have my Note 4 handy if necessary, and i've backed everything up with VZW's cloud, Google + photos, SMS Backup/Restore for texts and Helium for my game data. i've done a battery pull, checked the settings, powered it off and on, performed a factory reset, and i can't find anything that will disable it, other than the predetermined instructions that Samsung has on the VZW variant page (http://www.samsung.com/us/support/owners/product/SM-N915VZKEVZW). turning to you guys first before i decide to harass customer service and/or take a trip to a VZW store to handle it in person. is anyone else having this issue? thoughts? ideas?
I got mine on the 9th. Booting normally after lots of restarts and tweaked configs. I'd go swap it out if you haven't already.

Click to collapse
thank you. i did swap it out, turns out the down button was jammed completely, you could actually see that it wasn't at a perfect vertical angle when comparing it to my replacement device. so far booting perfectly fine, getting everything restored from Helium as well.

Bizarre black box lorem ipsum bug

Has anybody ever seen anything like this? I'm experiencing a black box popping up maybe 20 seconds or so after booting that is unclosable with lorem ipsum text in it, here are some screenshots:
[xda won't let me post links yet so bear with me and fill in the rest of these urls]

The box cannot be closed, and anything above it doesn't respond to touch input, but everything below it can still be used (like the shortcuts to chrome, contacts, etc. in the last screenshot). This box persists everywhere, including the lock screen.
Additionally, when I go to the lock screen the screen starts turning on and off rapidly, forcing me to reboot by holding the power and volume down key into maintenance mode.
I am able to start the phone in safe mode with no problems (safe mode disables all apps that aren't samsung or google), making me believe it's a third party app that is causing the issue and not something in android. But before I begin the awful task of uninstalling apps one by one to see which is the one that's causing the issue I figured I'd turn to reddit for help.
Additional info: I'm on verizon, the phone is rooted and I'm on 5.0.2
Flash with stock 5.1.1 ROM via odin.
Update: If you're reading this from the future it was cerberus, the security app. Really ****ing pissed because I uninstalled just about everything else because I didn't want to uninstall my security app until I had my phone back at my house (just tempting fate too much). Oh well, at least I've figured it out.

[BUGFIX/Troubleshooting] Substratum Theming Causing 'UI has Stopped' after update

I did the T-Mobile update that pushed to my phone, and because I was groggy and didn't bother researching it beforehand, my Substratum theming caused the phone to boot to a black screen with a persistent 'System UI has Stopped' message. I could see my Samsung Pay drag up and get to that, but other than that I couldn't access anything! I didn't have my phone remembering my computer, so I couldn't perform any ADB commands, safe mode and/or clearing cache via the recovery menu did not work, and a tip about removing SIM card also had no effect. These are all tricks I found on forums and this reddit thread.
I was just about to do a factory reset, and a thought occurred to me. I called upon Bixby (which I'm slowly finding more useful), and did a voice command to set the phone to Max Battery Saver Mode, which launches it's own minimalized UI! Then, because the settings and apps are also minimalized you can't access Substratum to untheme, but at least you're operable for the moment. But from a previous experience (I am using XDA user tytydraco's mod to remove the navigation bar and use LMT instead), I knew that coming out of Max Battery does a full/clean UI refresh (aka for the mod I used would not be loaded coming out of Max Battery saver until I did a restart). This allowed me to get a 'clean' UI load, and I unthemed with Substratum at that time. The only casualty was that I had to click on my widgets to reconfigure after I restarted, which took all of 1 minute, and resetting Accessibility settings for LMT use.
TL;DR: Switching first to Max Battery Saver mode then to Mid using Bixby saved me from having to do a factory reset, and let me get back into the OS to make the changes I needed to fix to avoid the 'System UI has stopped' loop. YMMV, but I hope this helps someone else while Googling how to fix similar issues!
Thanks....
Thanks Brother! I am in the same situation as yours, but even worse I cant access bixby unless i unlock the phone (UI says 'Bixby got an update, unlock and click the button again'). So I guess there is no other way than factory reset?
