I have a galaxy s4 gti9505 . It cannot connect to 3g service .gsm is working fine but no 3g . When i select wcdma only mode it removes all signal and a circle with a line

my problem is with 3g internet
after i subscribe with 3g i face a problem that's my phone cant get the 3g it only show 2g internet with slow speed show only letter E instead of 3G or H
the setting for 3g subscription 100% right
the 2g mode setting is unchecked
my place is covered with 3g network
i tried to put my SIM card on another identical phone Samsung galaxy ace and the other phone is working very good with 3g coverage showing H on the status bar while my phone only show E
i tried by reinstalling the software and the problem still exist
i tried by entering *#*#4636#*#* and change the setting to Wcdma proffered i got the same result
and when i changed the setting to Wcdma only i got no signal, no connection
i tried to connect with the network operator telling me that there is no problem with connection the problem is in the phone
any one can help me to fix this problem
Sending it back to Samsung or your carrier is the best solution if you do not know what to do.
I buy Unlock Phone Samsung Galaxy s II i727r LTE Rogers from Canada right now iam in India my android version is 4.1.2
When i open Network Mode Its showing me
GSM/HSPA/LTE (Auto connect)
GSM/HSPA (auto connect)
GSM only
HSPA Only
1) When i select any of the above option except "GSM only" its showing me weak network signal only 2 to 3 point instead of 5 and its keep on changing frequently not stable and its shows 4G sign but internet speed is good but weak signal because 4g Won't support in india
2) when i select "GSM only" then its show full signal and its work fine but its show 'e' sign means 2g speed very slow internet speed
3) So i talk with Idea Operator they told you select WCDMA Option but that option is not available so how to bring that option in network mode
so please help me to solve this signal problem with 3g running right now weak signal with 4g

Your observation is true..I have Skyrocket,but the ATT Version,using with BSNL..
My network mode is not exactly the same...so..I have 'WCDMA Preferred'..and using it I get 4G(HSPA)..but with 1 or 2 signal bar at my home...but at some places I get good signal(4G is not avaialbale everywhere).Since I'm not a internet freak,i switched over to 'GSM Only'.in which I get at least 4bars..with good internet connectivity('Edge'!)
India is not truly a 3G place,leave alone 4G..Mind you this is the situation at 'India's so called silion valley'--Bangalore:highfive:
If the Rogers one don't have this,may be FLASH a ATT ROM---I use

Hi all
I've got a problem with my Verizon S III device
I live in a country that doesn't have any 4G networks ( 3G only )
so i went to "settings">"more settings">"mobile networks">"network mode"
there i tried these:
Global witch doesn't connect to 3G
LTE/CDMA witch gave me that my SIM have "no service"
GSM/UMTS witch didn't connect to 3G also
so if anyone would help me on how to connect to 3G network I'd appreciate it
When ı change my mobile data options, for example ı switch 2g to 3g, they relapse their old. I can't stay 2g or 3g

Since i have updated to the latest firmware . Y3xcsn06a1000mpx1806223
The phone doesn't wants to connect to 3g or gprs or edge .
When I make a call it's said . Cellular network not available .
It's only connected to 4g with no call and no sms
When 4g is not available . It's said no services .
Please fix it or send me the older firmware to revert back to it .
