3g / 2g HTC WILDFIRE S help!

I am using wildfire s gsm with android 2.3.7 (rooted) mobile .
my question is that how to toggle between 2g and 3g data connection .
I dont see any options provided in the settings>networks and connections .
I'd like to pay for 2g connection and get 3g speed . this can be done in samsung mobiles as they have option to toggle between 2g & 3g Is this possible in wfs?
can anyone help me ?

[Q] Samsung Galaxy s II i727r Skyrocket have signal problem in 4g

I buy Unlock Phone Samsung Galaxy s II i727r LTE Rogers from Canada right now iam in India my android version is 4.1.2
When i open Network Mode Its showing me
GSM/HSPA/LTE (Auto connect)
GSM/HSPA (auto connect)
GSM only
HSPA Only
1) When i select any of the above option except "GSM only" its showing me weak network signal only 2 to 3 point instead of 5 and its keep on changing frequently not stable and its shows 4G sign but internet speed is good but weak signal because 4g Won't support in india
2) when i select "GSM only" then its show full signal and its work fine but its show 'e' sign means 2g speed very slow internet speed
3) So i talk with Idea Operator they told you select WCDMA Option but that option is not available so how to bring that option in network mode
so please help me to solve this signal problem with 3g running right now weak signal with 4g

Your observation is true..I have Skyrocket,but the ATT Version,using with BSNL..
My network mode is not exactly the same...so..I have 'WCDMA Preferred'..and using it I get 4G(HSPA)..but with 1 or 2 signal bar at my home...but at some places I get good signal(4G is not avaialbale everywhere).Since I'm not a internet freak,i switched over to 'GSM Only'.in which I get at least 4bars..with good internet connectivity('Edge'!)
India is not truly a 3G place,leave alone 4G..Mind you this is the situation at 'India's so called silion valley'--Bangalore:highfive:
If the Rogers one don't have this,may be FLASH a ATT ROM---I use

[Q] Question regarding GSm / Global call setup and battery

So as im researching the problem with my unlocked verizon phone , i bought the phone on ebay and currently using it in israel.
I currently have the phone on preferred network settings as : Global . My question is , if i switch it to the GSM/ UTMS option , will it save battery power ?
or leave it on global network ?
thing is , when i switch it to GSM / UTMS option , sometimes I lose internet connection when not surfing the web on Wi Fi...

Question Honor 10 Lite CDMA Network Problem

Hi Everyone,
I have Huawei Honor 10 Lite (Model : HRY-LX2)
I'm in Yemen.
It works directly on GSM networks but , It can't work on CDMA network
I need to force this device to work on CDMA ( Yemen Mobile Carrier 800MHZ ).
the mobile signal is full and the carrier name appears but It work (4G LTE data only ) by using 4G SIM card but give me SOS only when I use 3G Sim card.
I cannot make any call from CDMA 4G SIM card just use it's mobile data , I need to make it work on 3G signal I think the problem is in frequency Bands .
I notice on gsmarena.com the HRY-LX2 isn't work on CDMA so I convert the phone firmware to HRY-AL00 which work on CDMA the pictures in attachments but I get the same result, also I use SetEdit.apk to show the hidden network mode but when I choose CDMA mode It return directly to GSM,WCDMA,LTE Auto .
I hope you will give me the solution.

SMS Sending Big Problem

Hey Guys ,
I have Samsung galaxy J7 (S767VL)
after I unlock the network it works fine on CDMA network but can't works on GSM
I download combination modem to this phone so the GSM and CDMA networks work fine but I can't Send SMS messages from GSM although I can send SMS from CDMA the internet works fine 3G and 4G on both CDMA and GSM.
I download the odm.img file from combination rom to this phone and format the phone now the SMS on GSM works fine but I can't use the internet data on 3G or 4G on both systems on GSM and CDMA .
I notice there is no SMS service center number on the original odm SMS app
but I found it on the combination odm SMS app.
please what is the solution for this big problem .
