I was getting decent battery life until I decided to calibrate my battery. I charged til 100, bumped charge, went into recovery and wiped stats, drained phone til shutdown, charged battery til 100 while off. Almost a minute later I went from 100 to 98. My thunderbolt used to do that but never on this phone. I've been unplugged for approximately 16 minutes and I'm already down to 95.
I'm on wifi, good signal (81db) , not overclocked, removed google plus. Etc
Any tips?

I have CM10.1 on my HTC One S. Everything was good until I thought my battery was miscalibrated of something. So I run the battery calibration app, let the battery drain, and then charged without interruption. Now battery won't last me more than 4 hours. Before it lasted about 6 - 8 hours, which was pretty acceptable, but 4 hours? I tried making a factory reset but didn't help. Battery drains about %20 or more per hour. What should I do? Does reflashing kernel will work? Or what? Please help..
PD. Charging also takes too long about 4 hours...

Have you reflashed the ROM?
It seems to me my phone is running through the battery much faster after the Marshmallow upgrade. I am running OEM (not rooted). Also, is there a document somewhere that shows the new settings (assuming there are some)?
It's too early to tell, but today I was at work and from 6am when I unplug it to 430 pm my battery would be around 71 percent on 5.1.1...today on 6.0.1 I was at 84 percent so doze definitely helped me. I would wipe your cache if you haven't and as a last resort factory reset.
It is to early mine was killing it yesterday I was headed for an easy 4 hrs sot. Then it died at 10%. I think it'll work out after a couple days. Either way mine hasn't gotten worse even dying 10%early I was in better shape sot wise.

My battery is better on idle (at least when doze kicks in) and the exact same when in use. No real difference.

My battery on idle has improved significantly. Lost only 4% overnight last night, compared to 10% - 15% on LP.
+1 on over night battery. Went to bed at 12, woke up at 8 had only lost 5% instead of the normal 8-15%

Also, my bat is at about 76% where as by now my batt is around 50-60 towards the end of the day..seems to be better.
Must be my luck, lol, upgraded yesterday around noon, got home and later charged the phone fully around 11pm. Got up in the morning 6:30 -- 74% left !!!!!!! By 12:30pm had 10% left, horrible, before I used to get 91-96% juice left on battery overnight, and now it is horrible beyond belief , thinking of going back to lollipop or resetting the phone first.

Try a reset, I lost less than 2% last night. I am using greenify paid but my stand by drain is insanely good.
Anyone know where to see the battery % remaining, besides having it set to always show on the status bar? I never liked having the % on the status bar, and instead would occasionally just go into settings/battery and it would show the % remaining. Unless I am missing something, I don't see the % remaining in 6.0.1.

Nervermind I misread your post....
Well, that was short lived... I've lost about 50% battery overnight for the past few nights.
I lost 20% last night with WiFi always on, will try tonight with WiFi set to sleep.
Anyone use Google now or now on the? Curious about how much extra battery it will drain

Nobody else has an issue where there is no battery % remaining info available in Settings/Battery? I did a clean factory reset and still don't see it. I attached a screen capture of what I see.
My battery life was great on 5.1.1. On 6.0,1 it is horrible. I've done a factory reset, wiped cache, using greenify and package disabler and I'm still getting horrible life. My problem is not drain overnight like most. My battery just drops fast while using the phone. Also, wifi is now very unstable if bluetooth is on.
been experimenting lately with the voice activation...
I was running both s voice and google now ok google detection any screen when I posted my previous battery %'s..
I turned both off for ****s and giggles and lost 3% over the night and so far usually my battery is around 40-50% by the time I get home from work and I still have 65% left.
I dont use any greenify or battery apps. I used the system disabled and disabled about 60-70 apps, kept pay and all the bells and whistles enabled, mostly disabled verizon bs and samsung activation agents and unused programs I wasnt using like amazon app, etc.

Yea, resetting worked , standby time is awesome now, even during the day after medium usage the battery still has plenty of life left, a lot better than on 5.1.1. Overnight I lost only 2%, with wifi and data/location disabled.
Did you do a factory data reset or just a simple reset that saves your files and apps?
Is there any difference between doing a reset in settings vs a reset in recovery?

Try to re-enable all the packages. Something might be trying to call one of the disabled packages repeatedly. Then recheck the usage.
Battery was bad from the beginning before I even installed package disabler.
My battery is work perfectly i can reach 5_6 hour screen on time
But i have a problem with last 5 % it's drain too fast
From 5 to 1 within 3 minute but when i connect the charge it's

Samething to must of users of s6.. i think the battery has some problem and didn't calibrate well..
I tried to calibrate with some methods but always same drain... so do't know..
But if your battery reaches 5 or 6 hours of sot is incredible.

Exactly same for me and I've tried 'recalibrating' the battery at least 10 times with all methods available!
For me, sometimes this rapid drain starts from 10-15%. I usually reboot the phone and it goes to the correct number and discharges less rapidly, but still quicker than usual. I experience the same thing on my tablet.
I guess it's the outdated Li+ battery technology
So the problem not from my charger or cable
Before i face this problems with my old s2 plus
And i never see that with my s6 untile last 2 week

is it normal discharge rate ??
or there is something wrong with my battery
Either something from your google account isn't syncing or its one of the apps running in the background. Have you gone into settings>battery and see whats taking most of the battery?
