I've just got hold of a galaxy alpha and I don't the lockscreen at all, I feel like it was handled much better on nexus phones and on HTC sense.
Is there anyway I can get the stock nexus lockscreen or a lockscreen that supports the fingerprint scanner on my stock rom?
I've tried Lockr and it was garbage

No man if you go to end of world searching for a fingerprint scanner.
You are wasting your time.
After all what position does this small alpha have in front of nexus man, just think

I saw that in this thread he has the touchwiz lockscreen as being flashable (Assuming from recovery).
"Flashables
•Touchwiz lockscreen"
So can I flash this?
You could but it would be pointless because the Epic comes with Touchwiz as its default interface.

U miss read it. He is saying the touchwiz lockcreen. BTW is this the puzzle lock screen?
this is the standard touchwiz lockscreen. most of bubby323's roms come with the standard android (vanilla) lockscreen
Yeah, I should have specified. my question is whether this is the same lock screen seen on the other galaxy s phones... I really would like to use the one from the fascinate (slide puzzle piece to unlock)
Nandroid, flash it, and find out.

Love the fact that we have something for MIUI with out buying an app.
Made by the same people that make ripple lock. Both replacements have very good graphically, but they need to learn that root users need to ability to NOT to disable lockscreen, as this is a stupid way to bypass the stock lockscreen, as Tesla the Guy who made widget locker figured out, and uses root to bypass the stock lockscreen which is better.
Tesla has stated he's going to add sense 3.0 replica style lock, but don't know when he will do it

Not for me it works great with cm7.1 RC1 i love this i used miui for a couple of weeks and i loved this lockscreen but had to come back to cm7 because how much faster and stable it was (also i love that you can change the shortcuts!
The developer of this app annoys me. He always updates his free version before he updates the paid version, he did this with ripple lock as well.
Sent from my ADR6300 using Tapatalk
I can't seem to disable the default lock so this one is only used as well as power button not waking. tried with a fresh wipe and flash install.these are effecting cm7 nightly 146 with Chad's 6/19 kernel with aggressive undervolt.
Did you disable lock screen in CM settings>tablet tweaks?
forgot about that.that worked once I disabled the poweramp lock widget which also enabled the system lock. that's all good but the power button doesn't do squat while it's locked
I haven't used the app, but it sounds like something that may need to be fixed with it, unless there's some setting for the lockscreen app that you need to change.
Multiple people are complaining about the power button problem both on xda and the market reviews. I emailed the developer about it but no response. The app is very similar to the developers on ripple lock. GREAT potential he just needs to work on it. I hope teslacoil releases a new WL with the sense 3.0 lockscreen soon, I like widgetlocker

Hey guys
I saw this on XDA TV, not sure if some of you have seen the Sense 3.0 lock screen, I think the effect is pretty cool. Is pretty much the Sense Lock screen as an app, and it works on any android device. The app is called Agile Lock.

I like the lockscreen. Having issues with the standard lockscreen becoming active at the same time. Even after setting it to none. Basically i have to unlock the standard lockscreen then unclock the agile lockscreen..

Thank you so much for posting this! I love this phone but I can't stand the lock screen! I have been wondering why the ROM developers have not included some way of changing the lock screen, at least back to the vanilla Android lock.

I'm assuming you mean the developers at OEMs because I'm loving the ability to change between quite a few lock screens on Audiophile thanks to Raver. xD
Im a fan of aosp and I have removed sense from my sensation, but I gotta say that the sense lockscreen is the best that I've used so far. I prefer it over the stock useless lockscreen or any other lockscreen apps. It looks good, and it has just enough shortcuts to convenience. My second choice would be cm7 stock lockscreen with gesture function.
Just bored so I wanna see what you guys think.

I would love it, if it could be a little more secure.I hate going through 2 lock screens.
I admit, I didn't really like it when I first got the phone. But now I really love the shortcuts.
But I'm sure when I get back to CM7 I'll use my widgetlocker :3
I liked the AOSP lockscreen but i kinda like the Sensation lockscreen too, I just wish when you used NoSense it didnt make you unlock before you could answer the call or i would stay with the AOSP lockscreen
I hate the sense lockscreen.
My White Pages caller ID does not work with it. That is a big problem for me.
For anyone that claims there's no lag on the G4, s6 or even s7 please don't even reply because you are just wasting time. I'm guessing anyone who ever experienced stock android can answer this and hopefully one of them can answer this. Please let me know if it lags and stutters, I am thinking of trying out this phone for 3 months
I have both the lg g5 and s7 edge and my onest opinion the lg g5 does not lag like the s7
Sent from my LG-H830 using XDA-Developers mobile app
I've owned an S7 and returned it back after dealing with the G5.
So, no the G5 does not lag like the S7.
I see the same. My G5 is quicker and smoother than my S7 edge. The S7E was super smooth but as with most if not all Samsungs lag develops after some time. I love Samsung devices. Heck I always have one around but I will not deny that there is a little lag.

The phone feels much slower than a Nexus device. My Nexus 6 and Nexus 5x running pure Nexus Roms blew it out of the water. You can tell tho it's the launcher, I never tried the Google now launcher cause tap to wake wouldn't work. The LG launcher seems to focus more on looking smooth and fluid than being fast.

I use Nova Launcher and it's as smooth as buttered glass. Menus, settings menu, basically everything that has been LG'ed is also plenty fast

If the smooth animation is not desired, one simply has to disable the animation in the developer's options in the settings area.. Not fair to bash the G5 for animation that we actually can turn off. I'm just saying.
I'm clearly bashing the launcher, not the phone.

Seconded. Put on Nova, custom icons, and changed System settings to a single list - snappy as all get out.

That doesn't fix the bloated lg ui, same as you can't get rid of touchwiz stutters on 2015 phone's... I tested the s7 and its still not as smooth as a nexus or my htc 10
