[Q] Samsung "puzzle piece" lockscreen?

Does anyone know any app or something that replicates samsung's fit the puzzle piece lockscreen? I just came across it and found it kind of cool, so i was just wondering if its possible to get it on other devices as well

I want to know also!

LOL If this works, what about the HTC SENSE Lockscreen? lol

Just get widgetlocker and you can also have widgets on the lockscreen as well

Lockbot pro has a "galaxy" lockscreen, but i dont think it works properly. It also has hero, but becaus eof the responsiveness of the app, it isnt as quick as built in sense

The stuffs from lockbot pro and widgetlocker isnt the real thing.. they suck basiclly

Btw- Lockbot Pro suck, Widget Locker ok but not gud enough...

There is a miui theme to have that lockscreen .... I don't think its available on any other rom.

mod your framework-res.apk under keyguard_unlock.xml in /layout/ if you dont understand, then your just a 133ch.

Sense 3.0 Lockscreen

Hey guys
I saw this on XDA TV, not sure if some of you have seen the Sense 3.0 lock screen, I think the effect is pretty cool. Is pretty much the Sense Lock screen as an app, and it works on any android device. The app is called Agile Lock.

There is one called simply lock screen that works nice also.

I like the lockscreen. Having issues with the standard lockscreen becoming active at the same time. Even after setting it to none. Basically i have to unlock the standard lockscreen then unclock the agile lockscreen..

im having the same issue....its cool though.
Edit:After setting it up how I wanted it I restarted the phone and problem solved.

Thank you so much for posting this! I love this phone but I can't stand the lock screen! I have been wondering why the ROM developers have not included some way of changing the lock screen, at least back to the vanilla Android lock.

I'm assuming you mean the developers at OEMs because I'm loving the ability to change between quite a few lock screens on Audiophile thanks to Raver. xD

[Q] change lockscreen wallpaper?

I've been through about 7 or 8 android devices and one feature I've LOVED on mostly Sense ROM's and MIUI, is the ability to change lockscreen wallpapers. Is there some kinda app or mod to allow that? I'll keep searching in the mean time..

There may be others but widgetlocker, ripple lock and agile lock allow that. Agile lock is a sense 3.0 look themed lockscreen, ripple is honeycomb theme lockscreen. They have wallpaper lockscreens though. They are paid however.

I actually found one that's pretty awesome. "Lockscreen agenda pro" like 2 bucks, its really good

actually aftr like 10 minutes or so it makes you unlock twice. The app and the stock one. Its BS. Ima look for other ones
Update* there is a app called "No lock" which disables my stock lockscrreen. And so far so good.

Thanks for the heads up. I got that as well so I'm on stock cm7 lockscreens for now. Waiting for something to come along.

GB Lock Screens

Is there any custom lockscreens for the GB ROM that can be flashed through CWM? Just like the one in KD1 ROM? Thanks!

I'm glad I am not the only one that wants lockscreen options. Touchwiz is beautiful except for the lockscreen. I wonder what they were thinking at Samsung when they designed it.
I tried the Agile lock app which is like the Sense 3.0 lock screen but it is quirky with our devices. It works great for a while but then the samsung lockscreen somehow becomes enabled and I end up with two lockscreens even if I use the no lockscreen app.

I like the WidgetLocker app for my lockscreen. It is a paid app ($1.99) but it is highly customizable. It gives you a lot of options for the look of the slider to unlock, including multiple sliders to open apps straight from the lockscreen. It also lets you use widgets on the lockscreen.

yeah but doesn't it make your phone a little laggy tho?? When I was using that app, my phone kept restarting on its on and it got really laggy, almost as if my phone was allergic to it lol. I wonder if it works best on gingerbread rom gotta try that out.

The only time my phone ever reboots is when I am playing Plants VS Zombies. Plans Vs Zombies was doing this before I got WidgetLocker.
With Gingerbread I do get a notice that widgetlocker has been granted superuser permission at weird times. Like while I have an app running. It has superuser access to avoid the 5 second rule for the lockscreen timeout.
I am using the ICBINB KH2 rom.

Before I had an andriod I jail broke my iPod and I could customize lock screen is there any way I could do that on my andriod

Yes you can if you got root.
Some GB roms Eman, Aeon, Legend etc. got lockscreens option builtin.
otherwise you can flash Nuns 8 lockscreen mod on Rooted GB based rom.

Is there any possible way to get the Glass lock (or other) on top of the pattern unlock? Like having two phases of screens to unlock, kinda like on an HTC where you have the "Drag down to unlock" screen and then your choice of security?

I remember having that option on one of the roms...can't remember which one though...I remember it was like a little setting I had to check first...

I know with AOKPCB Broccoli ROM it is possible but i was wondering if it can be done on GB, without the use of any 3rd party app.

I really like magic locker, it has multiple themes you can use and security settings. It doesn't work with the current ROM I am using ([Dev]astation), but I did enjoy it when I had it.

I use MiLocker and it's free in the Market. Loads of different Lockscreens, Lockscreen Wallpaper and you can learn to customize the lock screens yourself. And as far as I know, you do not need root.
