Do anyone of you know a person who ports roms? Like someone can port cyanogen mod 13 for this phone I'm pretty sure everyone who has this phone would absolutely love that

I myself even tried to port some rom for the phone but with no results the phone dont even have any stock flashable zip of its own .... dunno why lg sticks with its .kdz file.... if any one want to port any rom by themselves for this device you can check out this website :- mtkroms.com/p/custom-roms-for-mtk6582.html ......... if any one can please share it :fingers-crossed:

You can extract the /system folder through ADB using this codes:
Code:
adb devices
adb pull /system C:\Users\YOURNAME\Desktop (or wherever you want)

I can't do it myself because i do not understand the guide. I have tried though, but i've only achieved bricking my phone!

I just hope that people would pay attention to these 'small' phones. Like alot of people are tired of the skins that OEM forces us to use and besides it takes up too much ram and drains the battery. Someone should make a rom for this phone and needs to do it quick.

Its false, that explains OTA update, the lg bello does not have any new update, LG did not confirm any marshmallow update for this phone

If you are looking for a MIUI rom your best bet is to go to the miui site. My best advise would be to search the internet as most roms are not for China based dual Sim phones.

I would check the MIUI site as no development for those roms are done here due to GPL violations. All the roms here are only translations

Get ahold of the OEM and have them release the kernel source code and see what they say

Who makes the phone? They are the only ones that can release the source code for the kernel. And under the GPL they have to release it.

I've been able to root with z4root, and I need some basic rom, clean 2.2 or 2.2.1, to replace the original one.
The Acer beTouch E210 has the same processor and similar basic characteristics.
I appreciate any ideas, experiences, ....

All ideas are welcome, the chinese device isn't important, the really important is the challenge, : for 40$ get a mobile fully operative, upgradable and 100% compatible.

Recovery is : VolUP + Call + Reject(power) then wait until you see the droid. Then press call again.
Problem is how do you upgrade the firmware.

Today I've bought the LG L Fino (D290n), running 4.4.2, kernel 3.4.0+. This phone was released in August/September 2014, so I was not able to find informations regarding rooting or tweaking. I tried the Kingo, Towelroot and some other 1Click-Root solutions but I was not able to root it? Is there a manual universal exploit that I could use to root it, like running into recovery and updating a file from the sdcard? Where should I ask for help?

Many people tested this at android.com.pl so you can be sure it's working fine and it's safe. And this is PurpleDrake so maybe try dowload from other serwers.

Its fake. Rom file is never givn in broken link as max change of getting corrupt.

I have this phone and I rooted it (manually because bat file was always freezing on "Waiting phone") but I can't uninstall applications.
Did someone encountered this issue and have you a fix.
(I precise that I used system tuner and rot uninstaller and when I try to freeze or delete an apk, I have a fail message, it's not the first android phone that I root)

I can't finish rooting it the PurpleDrake method, since I can't upate the SU binary file ;/ can anyone help?
Try diferent super user. I first tryed CWM SU, couldn't update binary. Then I have instaled Super SU and I have rooted device now.
The program indicated to root lg l fino is "Purple Drake" its work perfect on my device
