I think it would be great for the experienced members of this board to start taking a look at the hw6515. It is after all made by HTC. There is so much crap on mine, and I wuld love to take mst of i off. So anyone who knows what they're doing...help! P.S. I think Imay have extracted the rom but when I try to open it with the rom editor the passwords won't work, and I have tried several others. p.s.s i also unlocked ipaq file store and ipaq rom using the Harrier_EXTrom.Unlock.exe found on this site, however there is next to nothing in it.
Okay I just used DumpROM and extracted all the files in my ROM, I am completely new to this so what would be the next step?
I have upgraded to HW6515 from mini too, was able to install CallerID for HW6515.
Hope this website will support HW6515 too.
Yes me too i have now got a HW6515
And is very very good
I do hope that support will be on this website
Can any of you guys post the BT Cab file here so that we can try it out on the XDA's ? Apparently, the HP6515 BT stack supports BT voice dial and is very stable with clear audio without any static.
Would be highly appreciated.
if you tell me how to getit of the device i will do it for you
as for the voice dial its very good ihave just had in a few southwing headsets and they work very well £11.99 in P & P from ebay

I'm thinking of getting thr 6515 but it is still very expensive at the moment. Has anyone managed to get BB Connect for it yet? Until this is available I won't buy. Plus later this year it is supposed to have WiFi and WM2005 added.

I too would love to see a specific ipaq 6500 forum on here. (since it's made by HTC behind the scenes)
Here are some good URL's for anyone looking.

ETEN X500 Vs ASUS P535
don't have the device yet, but you there is also ASUS P535, very similar (and maybe better) than the ETEN X500. Check the comparison out at:http://www.mypocketpcmobile.com/ETENX500andASUSP535ComparisonReview/tabid/167/Default.aspx
thanks
it would be nice find a direct user of one of these devices ( htc p3300 , eten x500 , asus p535 ) to try to obtain a "personal" feedback ; I feel that they are very interesting devices but I do not find one real user .....is it possible ?
Hi all,
Regarding this quick comparison test, I prefer the Asus :
- 256 Mo
- 520 MHz
- Standard USB connector
- Design (I Do not like the eten design)
But for now I already have a P3300 and feel very happy with it despite the "slow" processor.
KR,
Imer
Salut IMer
I'm a S100 ( and now S200 ) happy user
could you tell me more about your experience with P3300 coming from your precedent devices ?
How do you feel the GPS system on board?
Could you help me to understand if it is true the story about different version of p3300 ( with and withour WiFi)
Thansk in advance

Yes the P3300 is really a good device, even if it does not work as fast as my "old" S100. Depending on your use, you could need a little more speed. Ex : I tried to run both wifi and GPS with Wififofum, but the device freeze as it is not fast enought. Wififofum works well without the GPS enable.
Note : I never tried this with the S100.
The onboard GPS (sirfIII) works very well, and tomtom 6 provided with the device is fluid.
In France the P3300 is wifi enabled, but in some countries and depending on the mobile operator, other versions may to be sold with no wifi. See http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=282421 for more details. There is an interesting thread about this subject.
KR, Imer.
Hi I will be getting 2 X500's in today

HI
sorry for the delay in posting my thoughts but here thay are.
Wel i have used a lot of PDA devices over the years and i must say that the X500 is one of the best i have every used its FAST very FAST.
It fits in your hand a lot better than the xda's its vey light.
The gps works very quick under 6 seconds to get a Fix witch is alot better than the G500 or the G500+.
I will be posting some pics of the phone later.
Here are a few pics os the software
And a Few More
Looks great !
what are the pros and cons so far ?
Not found any real problems yet apart from
as the pds is very thin it dose flex a bit andthis might be a problem if its in your pocket.
Now eten has supplyed a nice case thats not much bigger than the pda that will sove the flexing in your pocket.
i willpost a few pics of the case next
sounds good ,hope it tuns out to be good for ya
Some Pics of the New Case
And a few More
I have the new ish v1520 or asus p550
I have a problem though and that is the sound isnt very clear when paired with my cars hardwired hands free kit.
So a couple of questions:
1) are there and patches etc that I can look to use or indeed reg tweaks.
2) is this a radio version issue.
The device ist an XDA i grant you but it is windows mobile 2006 profesional.
Any help would be great or will have to give my brand new car back lol
couldnt give up the phone now could I
cheers
Please Help
Can anyone help me at all
Hello all,
Can someone help me to find out why I don't hear the name of the person who's calling me on my bluetooth jabra cruizer 2? I heard it once during the time I was on one's of Kalim version but never heard it again. The jabra cruizer 2 is capable of that function.
Is there any settings I'm missing.
Thank you
