Hi Guys,
I just wanted to know if there was anybody here from Melbourne, Australia that has a bluetooth headset. Just wanted to ask a few questions.
I dont have a head set but I have a BT car kit that uses the bt headset profile.
If you have an XDA2 I would appreciate being able to see if it will conect to my car kit. I want to get the XDA2 if it will work with the kit in my car.
Shoot me a PM if you can help.
Cheers
Jon
I tested XDA II working well with Parrot CK-3000

Hi,
I own a GN8010 wifi and a Galaxy SIII.
I'm wondering if it's possible to send SMS and calls (especially video calls) by connecting the Galaxy SIII to the GN8010 on bluetooth?
I know that the HP tablet allowed this...so I guess it's technically possible...but I don't know how...
If someone has the answer....
Thanks.
If by video calls you mean like Skype you do that over wifi. Or anyway your tablet gets an Internet connection. Not sure about straight bluetooth connecting.
As for sms there's already a thread with a long list of options.
Thanks for your answer. Actually, I was not talking about skype or stuff like that, but real GSM video calls, just like the HP Touchpad does (http://www.nuwave-marketing.com/comment-telephoner-avec-votre-tablette-hp-touchpad/).
The bluetooth link makes the tablet acting like it's GMS connected...so you can use it like a smartphone. I think that's a real great thing for those who don't buy a 3G GN10.1 as they don't want to put a SIM into it, but like to be able to use it as a cellphone sometimes....
That's not even an android based device. I've never heard of integrated GSM video calling here in the US. No idea about international.
So I'll bow out now but as far as I know there is no integrated video call feature native to android.

Click to collapse
Yeah, I know that the Touchpad is not an android device
But as all the galaxy smartphone (S, S2, S3 ) and, here, in Europe, integrate native video call, I wished that won't be really hard make this work with a GN10.1 wifi, through bluetooth....
But as far as I can read, that seems much more difficult than I thought...
Hello, everyone,
I've been using a very nice Sony headset (made for iPhone) with my old Desire HD without a single problem. But now I am traying to use it with Desire S and the mic doesn't work. The audio is ok, the button functions as well, but the mic is silent.
I 'm pretty sure that both the headset and the phone are working (I tested them with other non-iPhone headsets and other phones). So, wht could be a solution?
Would be gratefull to any comment.
Regards,
Ignat
Hey there the Oh so wonderful XDA community. I recently purchased the Alcatel Idol 3 and Watch combo off of Amazon for my father as a replacement for his Note 2 and so far he has been loving it.. Except for one issue.
As the title says he's having some slight Bluetooth issues and is only able to connect to the watch itself and other phones. He generally used his phone to connect to his truck and as well as his Bose speakers but the Idol 3 is unable to do so. Any idea as to how to fix this issue or if it's a widespread thing?
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
I am experiencing problems with Sony Ericsson MW600 and Plantronics Explorer 50. I am unable to perform a call through BT even if I select it on the call screen. The only way is to reboot phone while device is still connected. After then everything works fine.
