Don't know what to do - General Questions and Answers

First I tried to update from jelly bean 4.2.2 to lollipop 5.0 . first I get into odin mode tried to update to nb1. But I can't odin says fail. I tried a lot of times but same so I was tired and switched off my phone then switched on it said firmware update failed. Try recovery mode in kies. I downloaded stock rom and tried to install it but still fail. I downloaded stock recovery and installed it. So the thing happened is now if my battery is charged it gets stuck on Samsung Galaxy s4 and if the battery is not charged it just get switched on and gets off again after 1 second showing the logo. I can boot into odin mode. If I plug in charge it sticks on battery and a loading sign in the battery. It is stuck even the loading not move. I'm confirm that the stock rom,nb1 rom and stock recovery are for my device only that is sgh-i337. Please help xda.

6810 hangs on boot. Cannot get into Recovery no matter what

Hi All,
I have a 6810. I was running a custom CM10.1 ROM from daniel_hk.
The battery would drain overnight (few days in a row) and I'd charge it the next morning.
Then one day, it wont go past the Samsung Logo boot screen. I cannot get into recovery. I can get into download mode and can flash whatever ROM from ODIN without any problems.
This is what I have tried:
1. drain the battery completely and tried recharging.
2. Flashed stock HC via ODIN
3. Flashed stock ICS via ODIN
4. Flashed just CWM via ODIN
5. Flashed stock HC + 6810 PIT
6. Flashed stock ICS + 6810 PIT
Still stuck on the Samsung boot screen (or a battery icon with G in the middle if connected to power). Cannot get into Recovery. Only Download mode working.
Anything else that I should try before giving up?
Thanks.

The only way that i know to boot it back up requires the use of recovery... other than that... you need to send it for service
Anything can be done via ADB or flashing modified PITs? Would any of that work at all?
Apparently in Australia the warranty is 2 years. I was under the impression that it was only 1 year. They said that there was a change of policy with regards to warranty since 2011. Warranty has been 2 years for purchase since then. Didn't see that mentioned on their website. Oh well. Tab is back up and running.
Samsung picked it up from my house. Fixed it and couriered it back. Cant complain (given that I was running a non stock ROM).

[Q] GT-P3100 won't boot nor charge

It's my first time I encountered this problem on my device so I'll try to do my best to give the details. So a few months ago probably early January, I flashed a KitKat ROM on my tablet and it works smoothly so I installed a few apps and allowed my mom to use it for a few months until now. She gave it to me and said that whenever she tries to turn it on, it just shows the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 Logo and then the screen shuts down and it shows it again meaning it has a bootloop so I booted it into download mode and used Odin3 v1.85 and I chose the firmware file and flashed it and it failed, now it shows firmware flash failed or something like that, so I used Odin3 v1.83 and 1.3 and they both failed. Now I used Odin3 v3.07 and it worked. Now it won't boot nor charge. I tried doing many button combinations and it didn't work. I heard that I need to remove the battery for it to discharge the remaining juice and plug it back in again. So does the method I heard work? If not can you give me other methods?

samsung galaxy stuck on boot loop

heyy buddy i am stuck on battery logo of my samsung galaxy s2 after happily using latest work[lollipop 5.1] nightly build... but unfortunately my phone got switch off and it would never start...anyhow i flashed the rom once again...it got start and after 2-3 minutes it got switch off again.... and i am unable now to go into recovery mode.... i can go only into download mode and thats after only when i connect it to charger or usb...otherwise it wont go in download mode also.. i have also tried flashing stock rom using odin...but its of no use,,,even though odin shows pass mesaage the phone would stop on battery image... and its not getting charged also(i think so because the battery percentage is not increasing).... please help me guys
Hello,
if your phone don't charge, the battery can be defect.
My first step would be:
Buy a new battery for the I9100
It seems like battery is not an issue here.
Through odin flash a new cwm/twtp recovery and try factory reset and wipe delvik catch.
After that flash the rom.
This may work

Can't Root Galaxy S5 Stuck At Blue Bar

TLDR;
Trying to install custom recovery with odin auto-reboot checked off so stock doesnt replace odin says PASS I disconnect the phone but in downloading mode the blue bar is full and the phone doesn't want to shut down. I remove the battery and try to boot into custom philz-recovery it gets stuck in samsung logo. But functions perfectly on normal boot. I reset the whole phone and try the cf-auto-root method and the phone gets stuck in samsung logo now not even booting up normally. So i reset the whole phone again with odin and firmware from sammobile now sitting with a stock android and knox warranty ticked without having a root.
(Sorry for the long post I've tried to provide as much info as I can) So I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 exact model number SM-G900H. And I'm trying to root it. I go into download mode than I launch Odin and check off Auto-Reboot so it won't boot up and the stock recovery replaces the custom I'm trying to install, I connect the phone it says its connected than I select AP and than choose philz-recovery (latest version) and start it. So the Odin finishes its work says "PASS" in green letters. I disconnect the phone but on S5 the blue bar is full and it does not want to shut down (if the auto-reboot is checked it just reboots and it doesn't even want to boot into stock recovery just stuck on samsung logo) I've waited a good hour and still nothing. So I pull out the battery for it to shut down and than I straight try to boot into recovery and it just gets stuck on samsung logo and the blue letters don't even show up. Before rooting the recovery worked and I factory resetted the device before so samsungs knox does't interrupt with its not-being-able-to-boot-into-recovery-if-you-dont-know-the-password-to-the-samsung-account. And I'm now sitting here now with knox warranty ticked and not even rooted BUT I CAN STILL USE THE PHONE PERFECTLY WITHOUT TRYING TO BOOT INTO RECOVERY JUST BOOTS UP NORMALLY. So what I do than is reset the phones firmware with Odin from sammobile. Ok stock android. Than I try the Cf-auto root method with Odin. No luck phone just doesn't even boot up. So I reset the phone again same method. Ok stock android again. Sitting here reading through google for 8 hours 5 of thise spent on xda. STILL NO LUCK. So I hope someone can resolve the issue. I can't provide any pictures as I just rage closed my computer and didn't take pics. And if I install cynogenmod with heimdall is it going to be rooted (i know you don't need a root to do that) and can someone provide a guide to that heimdall cynogenmod install method?

My S7 Duos is totally unresponsive, black screen but blue LED is on

I had my phone just sitting on a wireless charger this morning and had been there for about 15-30 minutes. I noticed it was rebooting, odd I thought? I took it off and then realized it was going into a boot loop. I gave it a soft reset and then it would turn on and stay on for about 10 seconds before boot looping again. I again gave it a soft reset after a couple loops and now it seems to totally dead, as the title implies.
No button combination has worked and I've held them all down for well over 30 seconds each. I've tried plugging it into my PC and haven't gotten any response that way. The blue LED is on so I know it's not dead...I think? To make matters worse, I bought this phone off Craigslist about 5 months ago and it's the Exynos version so I definitely can't get any kind of warranty on it. I'm hoping someone has had this problem and can help or just has some advice. Thanks everyone.
EDIT: To keep this updated, I have been able to get into Odin Mode and have tried to flash stock firmware. Odin says everything went fine but the phone hangs up at the Samsung Galaxy S7 logo. I'm unable to boot into recovery mode and I've even tried to reinstall TWRP with Odin and that has not worked.
Seen the LED only problem before, waiting for the battery to drain and the phone to turn off seems to be the only known cure atm
Once it does, connect the charger for 15 mins, then boot directly into recovery and clear caches to try fix the bootloop, possible it may need factory resetting / clean flash of stock ROM
Using the MicroUSB > USB white adapter, you may be able to connect a power hungry USB peripheral to the phone to drain the battery faster, I use a USB desktop fan, but some people report it not working when it is stuck in this LED loop and have just had to wait it out
Thanks for that advice, I'll let it drain over night. However, I have been able to get it to boot into Odin Mode and Odin v.3 recognized it. I flashed the stock firmware but upon rebooting nothing happened and now it gets stuck at the Samsung logo screen. I can still get it back into Odin mode, which I believe will be the fastest way to kill the battery, but I find it odd that I can get into that but not recovery? I am rooted and have TWRP installed, if that matters at all.
If you can get into Download (ODIN) mode, then letting the battery drain probably won't help, that only seems to help when the phone is completely stuck with nothing but the LED working
Make sure you flash CSC (Not HOME_CSC) along with the other 3 sections of the ROM, using ODIN 3.12.3, that should factory reset the phone after the flash
If you successfully flashed stock with ODIN already, you are no longer rooted and do not have TWRP installed, flashing stock with ODIN replaces all that with stock
I updated Odin and once again tried to flash the 4 parts, making sure I used the right CSC file, but I'm still getting hung up at the Samsung Galaxy S7 logo. Do you have a suggestion as to which region's firmware I should use? I have been trying the Australia one from SamMobile's site.
EDIT: And to clarify, I have the G930FD(the duos one).

Any region would work, and the F firmware works for the FD too
