First I tried to update from jelly bean 4.2.2 to lollipop 5.0 . first I get into odin mode tried to update to nb1. But I can't odin says fail. I tried a lot of times but same so I was tired and switched off my phone then switched on it said firmware update failed. Try recovery mode in kies. I downloaded stock rom and tried to install it but still fail. I downloaded stock recovery and installed it. So the thing happened is now if my battery is charged it gets stuck on Samsung Galaxy s4 and if the battery is not charged it just get switched on and gets off again after 1 second showing the logo. I can boot into odin mode. If I plug in charge it sticks on battery and a loading sign in the battery. It is stuck even the loading not move. I'm confirm that the stock rom,nb1 rom and stock recovery are for my device only that is sgh-i337. Please help xda.
I got this Galaxy Note 10.1 a few years ago. Last year I decided to flash Gnabo Rom v7 on to my GT-N8000. The Rom was working for almost a year, until, when I tried to boot my device, it showed the cvm custom recovery thing.
So I just rebooted the device from the cvm, and it showed the Samsung logo animation. However, it was stuck on the animation for over a couple of hours, so now I can't use my device.
A few days ago, I tried some youtube tutorials on how to unbrick/unroot my galaxy note 10.1.
First I tried putting it in download mode and flashing a factory firmware(samsung) using odin 3, v1.85. I click on PDA and opened my rom. I clicked start. (I didn't touch anything except for PDA.)
The Progress was successful until the system.img part. It got stuck for a couple of minutes on system.img and then failed. I tried doing it again and using different usb ports but it still failed st system.img.
After that, I tried clicking on Bootloader instead of PDA, but it still failed on the system part.
Now my tablet shows the "Firmware Upgrade encountered an issue. Please select Kies in recovery mode & try again."
I could get into download mode but not recovery mode. (nothing happens when I hold power button)
Any help would be great. Thanks!!!
What happens if you use Kies
Sent from my SM-N920C using XDA-Developers mobile app
My tablet cannot connect to Kies.
I' m in possesion of a Samsung Galaxy tab 2 10.1 (GT-P5110) and is stuck on a boot loop. I tried reseting it but it didn't work. I tried to flash the stock rom with odin but it showed fail message(did it a few times with the same result). Then i found a thread that said I should find the hidden.img.tar file in the rom that I downloaded and use that.I did this and after about 2 seconds odin showed a successful message but the tab went on boot loop again. I did again wipe data but nothing happened. I tried Kies( my device is not compatible with Smart Switch) but the device (I have it in donwload mode since it can't turn on) can't connect with Kies(I left it an hour with no result and i plugged it in again and so on). Does anyone have any idea if there is another solution or what's the problem?
I had my phone just sitting on a wireless charger this morning and had been there for about 15-30 minutes. I noticed it was rebooting, odd I thought? I took it off and then realized it was going into a boot loop. I gave it a soft reset and then it would turn on and stay on for about 10 seconds before boot looping again. I again gave it a soft reset after a couple loops and now it seems to totally dead, as the title implies.
No button combination has worked and I've held them all down for well over 30 seconds each. I've tried plugging it into my PC and haven't gotten any response that way. The blue LED is on so I know it's not dead...I think? To make matters worse, I bought this phone off Craigslist about 5 months ago and it's the Exynos version so I definitely can't get any kind of warranty on it. I'm hoping someone has had this problem and can help or just has some advice. Thanks everyone.
EDIT: To keep this updated, I have been able to get into Odin Mode and have tried to flash stock firmware. Odin says everything went fine but the phone hangs up at the Samsung Galaxy S7 logo. I'm unable to boot into recovery mode and I've even tried to reinstall TWRP with Odin and that has not worked.
Seen the LED only problem before, waiting for the battery to drain and the phone to turn off seems to be the only known cure atm
Once it does, connect the charger for 15 mins, then boot directly into recovery and clear caches to try fix the bootloop, possible it may need factory resetting / clean flash of stock ROM
Using the MicroUSB > USB white adapter, you may be able to connect a power hungry USB peripheral to the phone to drain the battery faster, I use a USB desktop fan, but some people report it not working when it is stuck in this LED loop and have just had to wait it out
Thanks for that advice, I'll let it drain over night. However, I have been able to get it to boot into Odin Mode and Odin v.3 recognized it. I flashed the stock firmware but upon rebooting nothing happened and now it gets stuck at the Samsung logo screen. I can still get it back into Odin mode, which I believe will be the fastest way to kill the battery, but I find it odd that I can get into that but not recovery? I am rooted and have TWRP installed, if that matters at all.
If you can get into Download (ODIN) mode, then letting the battery drain probably won't help, that only seems to help when the phone is completely stuck with nothing but the LED working
Make sure you flash CSC (Not HOME_CSC) along with the other 3 sections of the ROM, using ODIN 3.12.3, that should factory reset the phone after the flash
If you successfully flashed stock with ODIN already, you are no longer rooted and do not have TWRP installed, flashing stock with ODIN replaces all that with stock
I updated Odin and once again tried to flash the 4 parts, making sure I used the right CSC file, but I'm still getting hung up at the Samsung Galaxy S7 logo. Do you have a suggestion as to which region's firmware I should use? I have been trying the Australia one from SamMobile's site.
EDIT: And to clarify, I have the G930FD(the duos one).

Any region would work, and the F firmware works for the FD too
I have been using my Galaxy S7 with a custom ROM since a while. After flashing a different ROM which I've used before it triggered FRP lock which is also fine. Then when I tried to flash an offical from downloaded from updato.com it got failed and showing a blue screen containing "An error has occurred while updating the device software.....". So I kept my device as it is so that I can download another Official Firmware from a different source/built. Next day the battery got fully discharged and I then put the phone on the charger for an hour or two to flash the latest downloaded firmware. But after disconnecting the charger it stays on for a few seconds and then it goes black. So there's not enough juice left to flash the new firmware via Odin. Whenever I tried to flash it via Odin it starts flashing the recovery then system but the phone shuts down after a few seconds before it even finishes. I have tried charging the device for several hours but no luck. Whenever I connect the charging cable it shows the blue screen above mentioned and I can even navigate to Download mode as well but it goes blank after disconnected.
Please help.
Thanks in advance.
