[Q] Kitkat radio on Marshmallow ROM? - Nexus 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
I own Nexus 5 for enough long time to know how Kitkat worked. There is one thing that has drawn my attention - when I had Kitkat radio running on my phone, the mobile signal was great but after each upgrade to Lollipop and Marshmallow it's gotten noticeably worse. I was wondering, is it possible to install Kitkat radio when running Marshmallow ROM (Cataclysm)? Will that work right away or is there something I need to take care of beforehand?

Yes, it should be possible to run KK radio on M; I'm running 5.1.1 radio on M with no issues.

from g870w 4.4.2 to g900we lollipop? ?

I know it's possible to turn our g870w into a g900.
Well.. I believe since I've seen done by AT&T users.
From there since I'm 4.4.2 I might have to flash a 4.4.2
version of the g900, is it possible to update to lollipop.
Reason for wanting to flash g900w8 is that I'd like
to have a recovery.
and my reason for lollipop is telus haven't provided any
release date yet. So it may take a while.
Thanks.

[Q] Upgrade to Lollipop radio on KitKat stock rom

I'm rolling back to KitKat 4.4.4 on my Nexus 5 because, although I loved it at first, I've grown a little tired of the material design. Also, I really miss stable Xposed.
But I want to ask. When I do roll back should I keep the radio that came with the 4.4.4 factory image(version 2.0.50.1.16), or should I upgrade the radio to the one in the 5.1.1 stock image(version 2.0.50.2.26)? I don't want to miss out on any possible radio optimizations from the newer version but I'm also not sure if the lollipop radio would be worse on KitKat than the KitKat one.
PS: I have searched, but all it returns is things like instructions on rolling back to KitKat. Nothing about using a lollipop radio on a kitkat rom.
Radios don't matter. Use which works best for you

Worth upgrading to Lollopop? from D80020y ?

I'm contemplating upgrading to official stock Lollopop 5.0.2 on AT&T D800, I'm currently on D80020y, however I've read that people have had tons of issues mainly battery life on 5.0.2, is there any fix for it and would still be worth upgrading?
I would love to know this. I am on D80020c right now and am not sure what to do. I cannot get the OTA updates even before loading a custom recovery. I just want to have lollipop but keep having issues.

anyone have a kitkat stock rom?

can't find one that works, especially, since i'm downgrading, i always get the error. ok4 is the best one, since i can go from lolipop to marsh, but does anyone have kitkat one that works?

[Completed] [Note 3| N9005] Does downgrading the Android version downgrade the Modem as well?

I bought a used Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (N9005) recently, and it was updated to Lollipop 5.0. And after few days I found out that the Phone Radio/Modem was not functioning well (I almost had full 4G coverage when I was using my J7 with the same SIM card, and now it's EDGE. What the ....! ).
I'm not an Android or any type of Mobile expert (not a good English speaker at least ). So as their were rumors saying that the Lollipop update for N9005 had many issues, I removed that and installed the CM13 ROM just to find that it was not the solution for my problem. So I searched the web for almost a day and now I think that the problem is with the Modem and CM13 didn't change it.
My current Baseband version: N9005XXUGBPB1
I was going to downgrade my phone to Android Kitkat 4.4.2, hoping that would downgrade the Radio/Modem as well and fix the problem. But then I got this wise idea to ask some wise guys in this forum if this is gonna work or not?
