Hey guys,
I have a G920F locked to all of Europe, if I flash an Australian ROM (where I'm from), will it remove the region lock and let me use Australian sim cards?
Same here
I've got the same problem / question for my European bought s6 edge g925f. I'm very tempted to flash to the Australian rom.
2 days ago I got in touch with Samsung Germany and got very quick replies. After giving them the imei number they said unlocking should not be a problem and they will get back to me with the unlock code "within a few days". I'll wait to give that a try first.
Did you try flashing the Australian rom yet?
I got my s8plus from t-mobile. I got it unlocked and was using if with att for months.
few days ago I upgraded software (standard Ota). After restart I got message that new sim was detected and I need to restart again
after that all t-mobile apps were removed and I got plenty of new stuff from att together with att logo
How can I go back to t-mobile version?

Flash the Tmobile csc for your current firmware
This is stock phone. I don't want to go through root and custom recovery
any other options?
Thanks

You don't have to root to flash tmobile software.
So I flashed a global firmware instead of the firmware my phone originally came with (three carrier UK). I found one but it's pre rooted and I don't want a rooted phone.
If you lot can't find a firmware, is it possible I could get the pre rooted firmware and unroot?
Thanks in advance
Title pretty much
I have a Honor view 10 that has never been rooted or any major modifications but is stuck on older firmware. Firmware Finder from the play store no longer works due to Huawei changing how the system works, A way where i could update without losing data would be appreciated
[if you use the full update with the dload method... You will lose all data.
Only way not to is just keep using system update...I just received the b161 update this way and I have a India c675 model in America and I received the official ota with 0 problems.

install the sim and connect to wifi
Check you're updater app
you Need the same region SIM (for example if u bought the device from India, you have to insert Indian SIM to get Oficial OTA )
or you can try Dload Method to flash full Rom

I guess you're on latest version & for European BKl-L09 8.0.0.162(C432) is the latest build

Nope. Same situation and stuck on 8.0.0.160 (C432). No updates.
I used a DNS changer on my laptop so that HiSuite can find the update, but it refuses to install.
I'm on same version as you but the June update is already out and July is just around the corner,
Frustrating as firmware finder from the play used to work every time but Huawei had to mess with their methods and now the app is broken

B163 is on FF and is not approved yet. may be rolling out in few days. OTA comes every 2-3 months.

Incorrect.. You do not need a India sim.
Ok, So I'm in the UK and the only update I had was the 162... But I'm using two SIMs. In the SIM1 I have an UK SIM and in the SIM2 I have a Spanish one... When I was trying to update with that configuration, it told me I didn't have any updates... I removed SIM1 and left only the Spanish one in the SIM2 and TA-DA! I have the 163 available and installing now! Just in case you can do something similar! If you have a family member/friend with a SIm from a country where an update is available, you can ask for it for a minute so you can update!

Hello this is androidadmirer
I have a sm-a136u 5g united States
Version from metro pcs
I recently took the a136w Canadian firmware and combined it with my original firmware for the a136u and flashed it successfully
Everything works except the software update which I'm glad that it doesn't that way it can't update every time there's an update and the bootloader keeps changing anyway,
I got stupid a d decided to see what would happen if I patched the entire ap file through Magisk
It patched, I flashed it in Odin it took but then it gave me the verify error of course.
So it took me all day to figure how to unbrick it but I got it back
So my question is with some of the international firmware for the a13 5g
Could I port that firmware with mine like I did the other and the international firmware will allow bootloader unlocking and have oem unlock in developer options
Couldn't that throeritically work
Only problem is the waiting
I have to wait for bit 4 to come out on any of the other firmware right now only
Canada and the u.s are on bit 4
Anybody ? Any input is good input !!
