Hello this is androidadmirer
I have a sm-a136u 5g united States
Version from metro pcs
I recently took the a136w Canadian firmware and combined it with my original firmware for the a136u and flashed it successfully
Everything works except the software update which I'm glad that it doesn't that way it can't update every time there's an update and the bootloader keeps changing anyway,
I got stupid a d decided to see what would happen if I patched the entire ap file through Magisk
It patched, I flashed it in Odin it took but then it gave me the verify error of course.
So it took me all day to figure how to unbrick it but I got it back
So my question is with some of the international firmware for the a13 5g
Could I port that firmware with mine like I did the other and the international firmware will allow bootloader unlocking and have oem unlock in developer options
Couldn't that throeritically work
Only problem is the waiting
I have to wait for bit 4 to come out on any of the other firmware right now only
Canada and the u.s are on bit 4
Anybody ? Any input is good input !!

Hello there XDA Members,
I have a massive problem and I hope someone in this forum is able to help me, I have an S6 Edge SM-G925F, I recently broke my phone and sent it to repair they repaired it and installed firmware that is non EE therefore I lost my WiFi Calling feature, I was like okay let me just flash the EE firmware unfortunately due to the bootloader they installed being newer then the one from the EE firmware it wont let me install (SW B: 2 K: 4 S: 4) this means that the firmware I am trying to install is older and samsung bootloader wont let me, now I want to know if there is a way I can:
1) Downgrade Bootloader or get it to accept this firmware
2)Have EE WiFI calling another way
3)Install EE WiFi calling onto the phone somehow
My phone is on version 6.0.1

I would say look for a ee firmware that doesn't include the Bootloader. That way the firmware should load, most mm firmwares will run as long as you have a mm bootloader.

Hi All,
I have a moderate experience in flashing firmwares and modding my samsung devices over the years.
I have recently purchased an S7 which is unfortunately a SM-G930V model, i thought it would have been the SM0G930F which would have made life much easier.
I want to know if it is possible to get the original Australian firmware or even generic stock firmware on this device?
My issue is with the network settings where i have manually put in APN settings my match my carrier and 4G coverage in australia.
If not am i able to just flash a different baseband to this device preferably Australian?
I have read that flashing a different model firmware will soft brick the device, i just want some insight before i start breaking things, also what are my options.
Much appreciated, thanks, Will
You have the snapdragon s7, you can't flash the exynos 930f firmware on it, you can only flash the american firmware. You might have luck with the 930u unbranded firmware just do some research on it.
Thanks mate,
I'm going to flash this firmware using ODIN, do you know if it will be successful?
https://forum.xda-developers.com/att-galaxy-s7/how-to/xda-community-love-g930u-t3415875
not sure how to check my bootloader version etc
No clue, goto the verizon subforum and see if anyone flashed the 930u firmware on their 930v.
Just tried to flash the firmware to my phone and recieved an error, the phone is now stuck at download mode with error:
sw rev check fail : [system] fused 3 > binary 4
this means the bootloader won't accept the firmware?
LOL, guess ill try another firmware.. Any ideas?
I have an unlocked phone on Marshmallow.
Will it become locked again if I upgrade it to Nougat using Odin and the official firmware?

https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=1322778262903991333
Thank you for the firmware source.
Just to clarify, you flashed only that AP, no additional modem or bootloader files?
In addition, is T-mobile a cell phone provider also in Arab emirates? I did some search in internet and it seems the answer is no.
Would it be possible somehow to compare if your phone and mine have been unlocked the same way?
Thank you for any additional help

No my service provider is Etisalat not Tmobile but i bought this phone on Craigslist and it was locked on Tmobile network so the owner sold me very very cheap he didn't know how to unlock it.
I bought it in 140$ and and it's brand new condition almost untouched.
i used a software in windows pc called "Z3X samsung tool pro v29.2" a cracked version to be honest to unlock this phone permanently.
After that i flashed nougat via odin just in AP tab and still unlocked.
I did not flash modem or bootloader separately because this firmware comes in full package Bootloader+Modem+CSC+System all you have to do is use AP tab and upload firmware then flash it.but remember you have to do factory reset from stock recovery immediately after flashing successfully otherwise it can get bootloop
Even though i try Tmobile sim unlock app that comes pre installed but it didn't worked cuz i don't have Tmobile sim card.
I am not sure your phone situation to be honest but since its UNLOCKED already so give it a nougat shot.
Hello everyone, this is my first post here.
I have a slight problem. I have an unlocked verizon Note 10+ 5G SM-976V and I changed CSC to GCF a while back because the verizon CSC had bloatware.
Now i have GCF/GCF/VZW. Im stuck on March 1 2020 security patch. The phone works great and everything is working well. I want to upgrade to android 11. That is somewhat not possible because when i try to upgrade from my phone it says, 'Your current software version isnt supported. Visit a service center.'
What firmware is for me? How can i get an firmware that can fix my usual updates? Or if i have upgrade firmware on odin, what version should i be choosing?
I do not live in the US anymore, phone was unlocked on verizon. All sims seem to be working on it. Attaching the files necessary for your study. Please help?

Have a look here for official ota updates from Verizon: https://www.verizon.com/support/samsung-galaxy-note-10-plus-5g-update/
If it does not work and you have an unlocked bootloader, you can flash latest stock firmware with Odin on pc.
Greetings,
I am a new user here. I just bought Galaxy S10e and I really like the phone, but the problem is that I ordered it from USA (I live in the Republic of Georgia). Originally the phone was from AT&T, but the seller had it unlocked for any GSM carriers and it works fine with my Georgian sim card. The only problem is that I do not receive any software updates. It is stuck on Android 9 and One UI 1.0. When I try to check for updates, it says that my software is up to date. The same happens with Smart Switch.
I tried Frija and Odin. My CSC is G970UOYN1ASD9 and PDA is G970USQS1ASD9. There is no way to download firmware for my own country's CSC, because there is no firmware for SM-G970U (Snapdragon chipset), in Georgia they only sell Exynos ones officially. So, I tried to find updates with CSC ATT in Frija and it does not give me anything. I tried XAA and XAS (which is for unlocked phones) and still nothing. I tried TMK (I think it is for MetroPCS) and USC (This one is for US Cellular) and also TMB (T-Mobile) and they do have Android 11 firmware. But now I am afraid I will break something if I install above mentioned firmware to my device. Or maybe I will not break anything by changing the CSC, but maybe there is also a chance that if I install the above mentioned ones, the phone will get locked on these carriers and I won't be able to use my sim card. Is logical, or am I just overthinking it?
Any help would be really appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
don't flash your nations CSC- that shouldn't matter. Snapdragons LTE bands should be good enough to work internationally
go and reflash a USC or XAA rom with patched ODIN... I had to do this for my phone and OTA started working once it was on the correct CSC
you could even flash it to the latest firmware if you wanted too.

Thank you for your answer.
What do you mean by correct CSC? I believe, my phone is on correct CSC now. I have already pasted it and in about phone > Software information > Service Provider it says ATT/ATT/ATT. But it seems that ATT doesn't receive updates outside US.
I cannot seem to find firmware for XAA/XAS, there is one for USC but I have already downloaded TMK. Is there any difference if I install USC or TMK? (TMK is MetroPCS).

Hi GSamkh... Did you upgraded to 11? Im trying to do the oposite, downgrade from Android 11 to 9. If you didnt the upgrade, can you check if the secure startup (or secure boot) its avaliable? Since in Android 10 and 11 isnt...
Seams that secure startup works on Galaxy S9 with Android 10 upgraded from 9.

Greetings,
I have already updated to Android 11 using U1 XAA firmware and it works great. I used Frija and then Odin if anyone wants do to do this. Weird thing happened though - when I flashed the firmware and when Odin did it's job, the laptop suddenly shut down and I couldn't turn it back on. I had to disassemble it and unplug the integrated battery, plug it back on and fortunately it turned on again.
As far as your question goes, I am sorry but I cannot check it since I am already on Android 11.

Hi GSamkh,
I am experiencing the same issue as you, purchased an AT&T branded SM-G970U for use in Australia. After you flashed to Android 11 using U1 XAA firmware, do you now receive OTA updates? cheers
