Am having this LG Optimus G Pro F240L for about a year. I have rooted it 2 months ago via CWM, but am on stock ROM. Two months ago, it started behaving badly, as it Front Soft Keys stopped working, and it pull me out of every app, seems like back key is being pressed without actually touching it (though the keys were not working actually). I have installed Ultimate Dynamic Navbar Pro app to get the Search, Back, Home, Menu,and 3 Dot keys on display, which helped me to keep this phone working easily. Until last night, everything was working smoothly, it had no other problem than those soft keys not working.
Last night, I didn't put it on charging, as I used to do regularly. It was around 40% battery when I put phone on my desk before sleeping. Today when I tried to unlock it, pressing unlock key, it showed nothing. I pressed it long thinking it might be off, but nothing happened, so I put it on charging, thinking the battery is drained completely. but even after an hour, it doesn't seems to be charging as bo red light was there on home button. I pulled out battery, wait for around 5 mins and put battery there, but no luck. I then grabbed my multimeter to check battery voltages, it shows 3.97V. Now when I put the multi-meter probes on VCC(Red probe) and GND(Black probe) pins on phone, it shows 0.434V without battery and 0.560V with battery inserted.
I charged my battery a little bit potential difference with an universal battery charger, upto 4.12V, but still the phone is not booting. I also checked for the power button failure, as there might be a chance of loose contact of pins underside the board(read somewhere), but it was fine.
Am not able to figure out where is the fault. If uUSB charging jack is crappy, then after charging the battery from other source must have worked, also if charging jack is fine, then the potential difference across VCC and GND must be around 4+Volts which is merely around a half volt.
I tried to get into CWM but no luck, I tried to get into download mode(pressing both volume keys and inserting uUSB just after it), but still no luck. I don't know how it got bricked, as I haven't made any changes recently, I was using it at a daily go. God knows what happened to it. It is out of warranty, again am out of luck.
please help me....
I have only LGFlastool_1.5.10.1120, LGUnitedMobileDriver_S4981MAN37AP22_ML_WHQL_Ver_3.8.1, WindowsLGFirmwareExtract-1.2.1.0-Release, a Windows 7 and a Windows 8 pc and a linux Ubuntu distro, a fast broadband internet, Android SDK installed with adb drivers, and a knowledge of how to root and flash ROMs(had several android phones over past years, rooted and installed several ROMs like cyanogenmod on Samsung Galaxy Wave II, Samsung Galaxy S I9000, Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc, Sony Xperia J, Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830, and a several ROMSs like PACMAN, SlimROM, SpeedDroid, MarvellousSense on HTC Wildfire S A150E) and flashing CWM recoveries aka recovery.img and boot.img from cmd and Flashtools.
I need your help, as all this knowledge is useless without your help, please help me, am stuck here so badly. I'm ready to take chances, please I beg you...

Maybe hardware issue.
I see that you have already posted on your device specific help forum (http://forum.xda-developers.com/optimus-g-pro/help/lg-optimus-g-pro-f240l-bricked-boot-t2862582).
That's the better place to get help IMO.
Hope that you get some advices there.

First of all, hello.
as this is my first post on this forum, dont give me a hard time i really need help with this phone.
I bought it recently, without battery
Than i bough battery two days later, orginal one but not new one. First two days it just kep showing invalid battery, please insert orginal battery and than it just stopped. I can power on the device and it works perfectly while screen is on, when i press the lock screen button after a couple of seconds it turns off and starts booting again. Same thing while on charger, but when connected to a pc its works perfectly. I just dont understand this. I took it apart, no water damage, didnt even fall once, i think its the cellphone but i am not sure as i dont have another battery to test it or money to get a new one they are expensive in croatia, about 40$. I would really like to get this phone working. tried diffrent usb cables, diffrent ac adapters, lock button didnt stuck even once, but the charging time is really bad too. all night got him to 89%, is it possible that maybe battery isnt giving him enough juice to turn the screen on again after a lock? i just dont know anymore tried everything and help would be great. I had my phone exposed to water but all the seal was shut tight. I had no idea how the water went in and I'm not even sure if it was water damaged. The phone was working fine for about 30 mins then it shut down itself. I tried to turn it back on but it only went to the part where there's a sound n something like a wave moving around then the phone died again for real. Tried to charge it, connect to the PC and reset it. Nothing worked. When I connected it to the wall charger and press the "off" or power button + vol up, it buzzed 3 times continuously for about 1 min. Pls help me fix this

Hey everyone 2 weeks ago I was using my lg g2 verizon model running android 5.0.1 lollipop and it felt from my bedside. Note this is not her first time the phone had fallen. I have a tpu case on it and it usually fears very well against occasional drops. That fateful night however the phone fell and when i picked it up it went blank and was switched off. I tried to power it on by pressing the power button but the phone just vibrated continuously on a second by second basis ( literally counting mississippis). I then tried to plug the phone into my wall outlet to force a boot but it just vibrated too.
Later that week i opened it up removed and reattached the battery cable and IT CAME ON!! Two short days after i rebooted the device for a new app but then it didnt power on. The same problem occured. I tried my fix again and after a couple of tries it finally worked. A week later and forgetting my phone problems i restarted ny phone again only to find out that the problem had returned. After trying my quick fix over and over again, nothing seemed to work so i decided to try troubleshooting the device myself. My results have left me baffled.
Ok so before you guys start shouting out solutions, heres what did and found ;
1) Tried a new battery and the phone still vibrated.
2) Unplugged the battery from the motherboard and plugged in my charger and the phone still vibrated. Lead me to believe that its not a battery problem.
3) Removed all un-neccessary components from the phone ( camera, screen, mic, antennas, etc...) the phone still vibrated.
4) Removed the power button module from the phone and it still vibrated when the charger was plugged in.
Note: I disconnected the vibrator behind then motherboard and held the phone to my ear while I plugged it in to my wall outlet. I could hear a faint clicking sound in a cycle.
Im completely lost sorry for the long thread but if anyone can offer some advice please help me i have no money to buy a new phone atm #life

Unfortunally for your phone this is indeed an hardware problem and i doubt it may be a software one...
If you didn't "worked" on the device from the software side i think the better way is to take it to an assistance shop or something like that in order to fix your vibration problem.

I just replaced the battery on my Mi5 and I tried switching on the phone with the new battery before assembling it again, and since then (using both the old and new battery) the phone has just gone crazy. Touchscreen doesnt work, it vibrates erratically, flashlight turns on/off by itself...
I am desperate. I did not use any anti-static current protection so it might be that, I don't know. I have tried to connect/disconnect al flex connections, soft reset the phone, everything I can think of.
I need help please, thank you
