I have the Gigabyte GSmart Mika M3 running on official rom and Kitkat 4.4.2. Is there any way to root it and install the Lollipop 5.0?

Hello, and welcome to XDA!
Unfortunately, there is little resources about your device on XDA. Besides release of kernel sources and a review, well, there is nothing else.
My recommendation is to check the root directory, and once you have created an XDA Account, document your rooting progress in a new thread in the following forum:
> General discussion > Upgrading, Modifying and Unlocking
That would get you root. As for a new ROM, unless it is done officially, there is no development to get you to 5.0+. Sorry.
But, hope the rooting advice helps, and good luck!

Hi,
I suggest reviewing this thread,

If you need help, ask in that thread.
Good luck,

Hi
Thanks for writing to us at XDA Assist. I can't find any custom firmware for your phone on XDA, your best bet is to contact the manufacturer and see if they're planning a Lollipop upgrade.
Good luck!

[Completed] [need help] mt6735 marshmallow 6.0 firmware back up.

Hi guys, does mtkdroidtools support this kind of chipset? mediatek 6735 running on android Marshmallow 6.0 with kernel 3.18.9+
This is a new device, it's and OEM Of Wiko U Feel Lite I believe. Here in the Philippines, we call it Cloudfone Thrill Acess
My friend was trying to make a full ROM dump for this device. What he did is back up the firmware the way it should be(I guess, based on older mediatek SoC running KK and LP). But when he tried to create a scatter file for this device it showed an error:TotalBytTotalBytesPerChunk not found. Set default.....2048/64
Unknown ROM structure. Back up not possible.
Please help me thank you guys.
