Hi guys, does mtkdroidtools support this kind of chipset? mediatek 6735 running on android Marshmallow 6.0 with kernel 3.18.9+
This is a new device, it's and OEM Of Wiko U Feel Lite I believe. Here in the Philippines, we call it Cloudfone Thrill Acess
My friend was trying to make a full ROM dump for this device. What he did is back up the firmware the way it should be(I guess, based on older mediatek SoC running KK and LP). But when he tried to create a scatter file for this device it showed an error:TotalBytTotalBytesPerChunk not found. Set default.....2048/64
Unknown ROM structure. Back up not possible.
Please help me thank you guys.

Hello! I want to upgrade my MTK china phone (model UBTEL U8 octa-core, MTK 6592 processor) from android 4.4.2 to 4.4.4 KitKat or higher.
If none of the previous options is possible, anyone here knows about a custom ROM for this model or for ANY MTK 6592 PROCESSOR?
So, the question is, exsits and it's possible to flash a "general" ROM that fits with every MTK 6592 model and it's not for a single device?
Actually, my phone is rooted and i have a custom recovery installed.
Thank you for your help!

Have a look here: Custom ROM Central > AOKP General > AOKP Discussion > Mtk 6592 custom rom..
And here is a guide how to port a ROM to your device: Android Development and Hacking > Miscellaneous Android Development > [TUT] [TOOL] MT65xx ROM Porting.
Good luck !

http://m.gsmarena.com/blu_studio_5_0_s_ii-6244.php

Help me please!
Hi,
Thanks for writing to us at XDA Assist.
There's nothing else to say...
Chances are you will have to be patient or you can develop your own custom rom.
So, I have a brand new Myphone MY33 that i wish to root but I'm not sure which app to use or how as i can't find a guide. I recently had a cloudfone thrill 450q that i managed to root a few years back with some unknown chinese-language root software but i can't seem to find it. What's the most reliable way to root it and how easy would it be to brick this device. I've heard about using Framaroot or Kincoroot or a few others but I want to make sure that it won't brick the device first.
OS: Lollipop 5.1.
Kernel Version: 3.10.72 [email protected] #2
Build Number: ALPS.L1.MP6.V2.15.2_P25
Custom Build Version: S5420AP_MY33_20151016_V1.09
Processor: Mediatek MT6592 Octacore Cortex-A7 w/ Mali450-MP4 GPU

Hi there, my name is Erick Omar, is there a custom recovery for MTK6582 Android Lollipop 5.0? My smartphone is a G-Mobile C509Q, exclusive smartphone in Peru. I searched for the SoC, but I found only for devices running Kitkat. Thanks in advance.

Hi and welcome to XDA.
I couldn't find much information about your device here but I found these 2 threads dedicated to MTK devices:
[ROOT] [GUIDE] Tips for rooting cheap Chinese MediaTek MTK MT67xx (100s of models)
[How to/MTK65xx] ROOT, Backup & Flash (MTKDroidTools, Spflashtool, CWM) [MTK Only]
You'll have to register for an account here to post in those forums.
Good luck
My device is the "Blu Life Pure Mini", that is (Ithink he is, after a lot of reasearch in gsm arena) a mt6589t chipset device with android 4.2 jellybean.
But now I want to upgrade it to android Kitkat (at least), but there is no oficial update from BLU for my device. Anyway, BLU released an oficial update for Blu Life Play, that is a mt6589 (without the T) device. Can I flash the Blu Life Play rom in my device without bricking it? Or will I need to do some kind of port before?
If it is the case, how do I do a port? I need a really detailled tutorial to do it in windows, since I'm not a developer and don't know anything about linux. ):
