I'm a newbie. Can someone please explain what is Sony RIC & why do/should we need to disable it after rooting? I've rooted my M2 Aqua running Lollipop. Should I also need to disable RIC after that? Thanks in advance.

Sony RIC is here to protect the system and doesn't allow you to remount rw the system you have to disable it if you want to mod your system.

It's matter of taste, i like Xperia look and i made some changes so i don't miss some CM staff
But from my experience with Xperia, stock rom is best performance and battery life. And i have looked bootloader with rooting status: No, so I'll have to wait for year and so to try CM on my M2.
All The Best.

Windows 10... Hum... Did you properly install ADB Drivers? I recommend this one. Also, be sure to enable 'Unsigned driver installation' before installing anything, as explained here: http://www.howtogeek.com/167723/how...8.1-so-that-you-can-install-unsigned-drivers/
You can flash into recovery this 2 zip files (RICdisable.zip and BETA-SuperSU-v2.49.zip). I had the same prob than you. I have find this solution and it work perfect.
Flash RICdisable.zip in first.
RICdisable.zip:

BETA-SuperSU-v2.49.zip:

Hi, nicopoto88
Sorry for my english i'm not a native speaker.
I would like to thanks you because your workaroud to root my xperia d2303 lollipop works very well for me too.
When i reboot my phone supersu app make an update from google market and update to the latest release (now is supersu v2.82).
And so a notification appear asking to update su (i think binaries need to be update).
So i would like to ask to you if there is a safer way to make this update.
Thanks in advance
