Hello guys,
Yesterday I got my XPERIA tipo (dual) and I rooted it via UnlockRoot pro, then installed the CWM successfully with this tutorial: LINK and now i want to install this: LINK It is a JB ROM... I am running ICS... how is this gonna happen ? I dont even know if my bootloader is unlocked... It should be because i installed CWM... (the phone is 2nd hand the previous owner migh have unlocked it bcs it was rooted and i rerooted it).
So... can someone explain me how to install this PROVISION rom, and tell me if i have to do anything else ?
Thank you in advance ! :fingers-crossed:

Ok thanks! But if I have CWM does this mean I have unlocked bootoader and do I have installed flashtool ? I mean... these things are part of the requirements in the video.
Also, what is the best ROM for the tipo ? This cm10 ? there is 11... These things are new to me. Please explain me.
Thank you in advance!
P.S. When I try to enter in fastboot... I enter in CWM is this normal ?

first of all, thank you for posting this tutorial. I cant continue the installation because flashtool show me "Your device bootloader cannot be officially unlocked". i know only version D2203 can be officially unlocked. I am doing something wrong ?
PS: you said "ESPECIALLY FOR MODEL D2202 and D2212. "
I heard that some D2203 models have this problem. This method successfully works for D2202 & D2212.what's your firmware version?

Just follow the instructions carefully.. you'll eliminate the chances of bricking..!
Obviously bro.. Its gonna stay there .
Links are working now..
Could someone confirm if it really works in the E2243 model ?
I'm noob and I am afraid of performing the procedure and brick my phone.
I really need root because this model ( D2243 ) only has 2GB of internal storage .
I saw this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=58115875&postcount=222
But i'm very afraid to do the procedures.
does the problem of getting usb'ed exist in this method?
Please screen shot my id [email protected]

Init.d support?
Hi,
The described steps worked fine 3 times for me (bricked for another reason ) on my D2212 Dual (Brazil). Now I am having a hard time to achieve a working init.d. Did try "universal init.d" and "init.d toggler" and none worked. Looking for flasheable zips found none E3 specific and so I didn't risk (yet).
Thanks!

So, since I've unlocked my bootloader to root I won't be getting updates from Sony. Checking XperiFirm there are two Brazil customized roms, one still on 4.4.2 (18.4.B.2.14/R5B) which I've used, the other missing files from Sony (18.4.B.2.14/R4B) and no US/intl there.
Any tip where can I find a 4.4.4 to flash?
DRM keys?
Brother What about DRM Keys?

I dont know whether your problem has been solved or not, I just try to help you and others who may have similar issue.
Installing flashtool driver in windows 8/8.1 need to disable driver signature in the computer setting:
Go to Settings
1.) Change PC Settings
2.) General
3.) Scroll down to Advanced Startup > Restart Now
4.) Trouble shoot
5.) Advanced options
6.) Windows startup options
7.) Restart
8.) Press F7
9.) Reboot
Now you can install the driver

You need to disable RIC and mount system as read/write.
Good Luck.

It's matter of taste, i like Xperia look and i made some changes so i don't miss some CM staff
But from my experience with Xperia, stock rom is best performance and battery life. And i have looked bootloader with rooting status: No, so I'll have to wait for year and so to try CM on my M2.
All The Best.

Cm12 problem
Hey I downloaded cm 12 and i installed the boot.img but when i was doing this the phone ends in a endless blackscreen and nothing happens and I have to flash the stock rom can you please tell me how I can fix this
Hi hope you guys can help.
I've done a clean install of cyanogen 13,which is awesome BTW!
However root seems only half working if that makes sense?
I can't update super su either through reboot or other method, as it won't reboot into twrp option when I choose it?
Do I need to reroot my phone again, and will that solve it?
Hope this makes sense!
