Just select your photo and put Deal with It glass on it and animate it then you can save it as GIF or PNG.

Awesome app!!!! Any possibility to have an option where the user can edit the the text? Instead of it saying "deal with it" have an option to input a custom text?

I was just looking at a friends Droid pro and it had an editing tool that if you held you finger over text it would blow up so you could move the cursor where you wanted like ios. Is this a new app or a new one? Would love to have it for editing text.
I believe he had the Droid pro on a pre-release.

Sense can it does that is just diferent and needs tone redifined IMO but it works mostly in browser (for some reason not text msg and is limited to gmail ) and when you highlight the word in the browser a little option will appear the first one is to copy, and the loop is too search it and the last one is share

Does anyone know of a simple "text box" widget that allows you to post a word or two, similar to minimalistic text but instead of the time, just whatever you want.

minamilistic text acutally does it you just need to change the text and drag a box to do it, I used it on my nexus s for my daughters baby scan pictures on my home screen

I've been quite closely following Alterbridge and his Overcome GB custom rom, and since i travel around alot, its been so worth my while following it through the XDA app.
The app itself is clean, no extra fuss, and gives exactly what you ask for. What i'm driving at here is, do you feel its missing anything? Maybe we can get the developer to join us and see if they like our ideas and possibly add them to the app.
i'll go first - i think the option to THANK someone in the forums, if they helped you in any way could possibly be added to the menu (for me in android, its long-pressing menu drop-down on a specific post )

i still can't figure out how to post with it
Search function, being able to see the smileys instead of text wrapped in colons, ability to re-arrange the order of the favorites list, and the ability to attach files other than images.
I use the XDA app alot, probably more than I visit XDA on my PC, so I guess the little things that the tapatalk app don't do tend to bug me a little after awhile lol.

There is an option to use different themes. Press menu/more/settings/display style. And you want the simple theme.

Everyone knows how the inbuilt SMS app has text templates that are used when we need to type fast. What about WhatsApp, Viber, Email and stuff like that which is replacing text messaging? They don't have templates do they?

Yes. Just long press on any template to modify and save it

Actually, I have no idea... I know you have to send me the string.xml (I think), I will translate it and send it to you, but I don't know how to implement the translation.

I think I said it wrong the option is same as gosms or handcent have. It's called strip unicode. Hope I'm clear now (sometimes I can't get my mind to say things clearly)

I have fixed the Unicode stripping bug, this will be available in the next release.
Big thing for me is, making the icon blue lol but i look forward to seeing where this goes. Will definately buy a paid version.

I am so glad that you guys like it, I am working very hard to put in as many features are I can, every message I get about the app with ideas and changed I am writing down, I want to make an SMS app that I would be happy to use on a daily basis, I cannot stand Go SMS or HandCent as they are ugly and get it the way.
If you have any ideas or changes please feel free to let me know, I am to release 1 update a day.

Thank you for you opinion, The reason messages from us have their pic is because I feel that it is the best way to know who the message is to, if it is right align'd then you know we(you) sent it. Do you have an idea that would improve showing who it was too + that it was from us? I am happy to take on any ideas and changes.

Change the colour of the messages Grey or white for them and blue or green for us. Like iMessage or textplus.

Out of interest. Are you using the most recent version of the app where the messages are right / left aligned to show if they were sent/received? I will test color changes tonight.
