has anyone gotten xposed framework to work on our devices ? im rooted and in latest update
when i install the arm 64 version of xposed my device just hangs (waited 2o mins for it to boot ) . So just wondering if anyone has got it to work yet ?? :cyclops:
never mind its working just had to wait a bit longer for it to boot ( mods can delete this )
Are you sure its working? I've also try to install it but ended up with stucked at the boot logo. Could you estimate the exact time how long you have to wait to make it go thru actually? Appreciate ur feedback.. thx..
i had the same problem.. actually if i didn't have nandroid backup i'd have soft bricked my r7plusF !!
i tried with arm 64 version of xposed framework !!
Anyway if it really worked for you.. could you tell us what you did?? only wait for so long??
gives us some feedback thanks!
For all the others .. seriously no way to make it work?
Thats the point. Im waiting if someone can confirm on this. Anyone?
tried it yeasterday, ended up with bootlop showing only oppo logo same as you guys. Tried to flash two different x64 xposed zips
It works just took a while to load around half hour I just left it and it booted up here's a pic of the one I used

These files works for me.
For Android 5 (Lollipop), you need sdk22
For Android 6 (MarshMallow), get sdk23
Xposedinstaller works for both.

I used it on latest ColorOS, same as yours. Worked fine for me with app-settings and 3c-Toolbox. Just be sure to use the Lollipop file
Hi, just wanted to update.. I'm currently running Mokee rom and using xposed-v80-sdk23-arm64.zip that teemo provide and it works like charm! thanks
Wow. I became sick of all the security scanning and battery saving alerts and messages so I rolled my Oppo R7 Plus f back to the last 2015 update (5.1.1) and got bootloader back, then I flashed TWRP (used to have it on my Note) then rooted. The last thing was Xposed, which I used to use on my Samsungs quite a bit and I came across this thread when I was looking for compatibility.
I downloaded the latest Xposed installer (3.1.1 v87) and it downloaded Xposed, ran a bunch of commands, and rebooted my phone. It sat on bootloading for 22 minutes. I didn't touch it in the hopes that your results would work for me, and sure enough... 22 minutes it just finished booting! Thanks for posting, otherwise I would be rebooting and reflashing right about now!

There is one guy I saw posted on a rooting thread that he has developed a ROM for this device but, does not know how to write the updater-script so he is looking for help with that. Perhaps you can help.

I have ported roms in the past to Kindle Fire HD from the Nexus tabs. It's way easier to port than to build a rom from scratch. The tricky part is finding the easiest roms to work with.
Well I can't do either.
Wouldn't we want to get something on here other than stock?
I'll take a port! Lol

Well I would think that you would need a working custom recovery with external SD card support first. Though the big feature I am looking forward to is a kernel that supports Roehsoft Ram Expander (swap) which while it works fine on my S3 does not work at all on the Tab 4 7.0.

There is a fully working recovery with SDcard read/write support as mentioned in THIS post.
What I did was downloaded the TWRP 2.8.0.1 .img for t230 then flashed it over the older non-working TWRP using #Rashr. It works for me on SM-T230NU and wipe works. Dalvik/Cache, everything.

I resstored the device in odin to the latest factory firmware then flashed the twrp in odin, rebooted directly to recovery and flashed supersu. Rebooted to system, set up all my stuff and flashed the new twrp over the old twrp using rashr. I had to reboot once to set up rashr before i could flash but, it all worked perfectly for me

Any news on Xposed framework for the A9 or has anyone been able to successfully install Xposed framework on their device?
I tried installing the "78" version and got stuck at the splash screen. Maybe others have had better luck?
Xposed does't work, becouse rom is odex. There are no Instruments for deodex now.

After installing i get a Bootloop. What do i wrong? Thank you.
Edit: I have tried it again. Now it does work!
1. Install xposed-v79-sdk23-arm64.zip with TWRP
2. Wipe Cache/Dalvik
3. Reboot
4. Install XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4.apk
It does work now. Can not understand why. Have tried it 5-7 Times but it did not work.
Now i am happy. Xposed is my important App for my Device.

I've got it working as well but..
9-10 apps seem to be optimizing on every boot and the lockscreen takes a bit to load. Anyone know why that is?
The only modules I have are Gravity box, amplify, and xstana and I can say they're working good despite the optimization and lag to the lock screen.
I'm on 6.0.1, latest opengaps and latest supersu beta along with the stock MM boot animation!

You should post a logcat of the bootup and provide it to @rovo89 on his github issues log so he can look into/fix it.
@kamueone I am on the 6.0.1 (1.55.617.4) . Have converted from the european 1.10.401.7 to the US 1.55.617.4 .
@AnierinB At me the same with the 9 Apps Optimizing after Reboot. But otherwise it works fine

@AntikerTa Is there the German lenguage integrated in the US version? Does it have any advantage to the europeon version?
I first worked with the european version 1.10.401.7 but had issues to write on /piv-app. With the German version there is no problem at all, just xposed seems not to work.
I am s-off... so could flash the US unlocked version. Do you have a link?
Thank you,
Here is the link for Dolby Atmos file http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3109446
Works great on my H955.
How I installed it.
Download the file. Then use flashfire to flash the zip file, while you wait for this to install make a coffee and a sandwich and hopefully when you return it'll have installed.
Again this is not my work I'm just sharing the link!
P.S. Don't forget to thank worstenbrood for their hard work.
How do you get 2nd screen? I can't find Dolby Atmos as an app.
Did you overwrite folders?
Yes just over write. You should see the Dolby Atmos app in with the rest of your apps.
Then I did something wrong, will try once more.
Hahaha, now stuck here. I will go trought the mean thread to take a look. Thanks anyway.
I've seen the reply, its odd as i literally only copied the files into my root system and it works perfectly for me? Did you have any other sound mods installed? Such as Viper.
@francescrm All i could suggest is try it with flashfire I might have used that and forgot. I mess about doing all sorts toy phone my system folder must be a right mess ?
In fact, it wasn't a polite reply but i presume that he is sick of answering stupid questions in that thread. I will take a look about flashfire, only used for xposed installation. No Mods for sound.
