Dolby Atmos - LG G Flex 2

Here is the link for Dolby Atmos file http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3109446
Works great on my H955.
How I installed it.
Download the file. Then use flashfire to flash the zip file, while you wait for this to install make a coffee and a sandwich and hopefully when you return it'll have installed.
Again this is not my work I'm just sharing the link!
P.S. Don't forget to thank worstenbrood for their hard work.

How do you get 2nd screen? I can't find Dolby Atmos as an app.
Did you overwrite folders?

Yes just over write. You should see the Dolby Atmos app in with the rest of your apps.

Then I did something wrong, will try once more.

Hahaha, now stuck here. I will go trought the mean thread to take a look. Thanks anyway.

I've seen the reply, its odd as i literally only copied the files into my root system and it works perfectly for me? Did you have any other sound mods installed? Such as Viper.

@francescrm All i could suggest is try it with flashfire I might have used that and forgot. I mess about doing all sorts toy phone my system folder must be a right mess ?

In fact, it wasn't a polite reply but i presume that he is sick of answering stupid questions in that thread. I will take a look about flashfire, only used for xposed installation. No Mods for sound.

Rgds,
P.S. By the way, you won't be Arsenal's supporter?

Was it flashfire that did the job? If so I'll edit first post, glad its working ?

Yes, it did!! Thanks again.

And thank you for pointing out i messed up with install guide ? fixed it now, as i said I'm always messing around and i must have forgot i used flashfire to install it, thanks @francescrm

Coffee and sandwich, hahaha. First time i used FlashFire i almost had a hard attack [emoji51] [emoji51] [emoji51]

What firmware do you have? And you know that you must use Flashfire v0.24? @englishmale please add this note to first post
Sent via my H955 (I'm from Poland)

So flash zip using Flashfire v0.24, not the newest one and it should be OK, on my phone it always solve the problem.

Maybe is not the thread to ask, but seeing that you have XPOSED working already, I wanted to know, how most of usual XPOSED mods are working for you? GravityBox and Tinted Statusbard for example, how are they working on your G3? I'm really used to them on my Nexus 5 and since I will probably get a G3 when an Internarional version is released in US I'm really interested in your answers!
Thanks!

gravitybox is working excellently , all my mods i used on the htc one m7 are running without issues. I cant say i ever used " Tinted Statusbard " before, but xposed misc modules / downloads searches works as you would expect, run the root method above, install xposed, and enjoy.
the one caveat i guess i should mention is that no custom recovery / backup has been run. So, install at your own risk,

I don't have a G3 yet so I guess by the time I get one there will be a custom recovery that works.

Hi guy's
I just got my G3 yesterday and I want to root it but it's still currently on 4.4.2. Do you think it's worth just waiting for 4.4.4 and then rooting?
I can root using towelroot but it's not still possible to install a custom recovery... right?

I have three questions to you guys who already rooted the G3 with towelroot:
Does a factory reset unroot the G3 again and makes possible to install OTA Updates again? How can I perfom the factroy reset without a custom recovery? Do I have to install SuperSU (or something equivalent) after using towelroot?

There is one guy I saw posted on a rooting thread that he has developed a ROM for this device but, does not know how to write the updater-script so he is looking for help with that. Perhaps you can help.

I have ported roms in the past to Kindle Fire HD from the Nexus tabs. It's way easier to port than to build a rom from scratch. The tricky part is finding the easiest roms to work with.
Well I can't do either.
Wouldn't we want to get something on here other than stock?

Well I would think that you would need a working custom recovery with external SD card support first. Though the big feature I am looking forward to is a kernel that supports Roehsoft Ram Expander (swap) which while it works fine on my S3 does not work at all on the Tab 4 7.0.

There is a fully working recovery with SDcard read/write support as mentioned in THIS post.
What I did was downloaded the TWRP 2.8.0.1 .img for t230 then flashed it over the older non-working TWRP using #Rashr. It works for me on SM-T230NU and wipe works. Dalvik/Cache, everything.

I resstored the device in odin to the latest factory firmware then flashed the twrp in odin, rebooted directly to recovery and flashed supersu. Rebooted to system, set up all my stuff and flashed the new twrp over the old twrp using rashr. I had to reboot once to set up rashr before i could flash but, it all worked perfectly for me

Xposed framework on stock ROM?

I've been out of the XDA game for awhile now since my last phone couldn't be rooted. I just got this phone, and immediately rooted it
Well, my question is can the xposed framework be installed on the stock ROM? Xposed seems to be really different since the last time I used it haha
If it can then what would I need to do to install it? Thanks to anyone in advance

Why is this is the Verizon thread? We don't have root or recovery and probably never will.

We need this mod now that we have root. Still waiting on our version.
Does this work now that we have root?

I read this comments and I think that if I will create a mod for your model or if I prefer to wait to other person to create the mod.
I have created a theath on every s7 model forum and I read a lot of comments like this. I have to say SORRY for open a treath and now you have root and want a mod.
I Think this is not the way and people like " ironbesterer" are the guilty
This is my first BETA for VERIZON S7 AND S7 EDGE
Please, download the two files because i don't have this model and i can't test the mod. Is easy that this beta can bootloop the phone.
If you have problems, flash REVERT TO STOCK and say me the problem please.
Test the beta and say me if dual speaker works and if there is more volume on main speaker.
If i can make a mod for Verizon, in a few days i will upload the mod for all models.
FOR MAKE THE UPDATES EASILY, THE MAIN THEATH IS HERE:

I only see these treath, please, don't comment or request in this treath.

Just today I installed Fontfix, (even though the app, states it does not work on S7).
I had a hard time installing it at first, then i discovered two major steps. 1) you have to have "install from unknown sources" checked, which, is weird since its coming from the play store. and 2) you have to go into the app settings and find where it says install method and change it to root.
That's all I did, and now have "Gloria Hallelujah" throughout my whole system. If you have any questions or problems don't hesitate to ask. I get on just about every day or so, hoping to see any kind of mods or development for this S7, which, is scarce.
