Hi all
Just got myself an Asus TF103C and have been looking at other posts here like http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help/asus-transformer-pad-tf103c-tablet-root-t2802995/page5
which helped me to root it.
However I have been reading elsewhere that perhaps a custom Lollipop ROM would help things work a bit smoother.
I have found a couple of pages which claim to outline a method taken from the pages of XDA (although I am so far unable to find it on here) and linking to file downloads that seem a bit suspect:
http://www.rom-lollipop.org/mp3-0/asus-transformer-pad-tf103c-6409.html
and here:
http://lollipop500.blogspot.co.uk/2014/12/upgradeupdate-transformer-pad-tf103c-to.html
Can anyone please advise me if these are likely to be legitimate or otherwise?
Many Thanks!
Hi,
I can't find anything relevant on XDA for your device and Lollipop. You can ask about it here,
> Android Development and Hacking > Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
I won't comment on files you found on other sites, other than saying flashing anything is always a risk that will be on your shoulders , on XDA or other sites.... And no one will take responsibility for your device. Flash at your own risk. If it makes you uncomfortable, then don't do it. That's all I can say. ?
Good luck!

Sir,
The mission of XDA Assist is to provide basic help to those who have tried searching but can't find what they are looking for and need assistance. This is not a "helpdesk" providing technical assistance but more to point you in the correct direction with your problem. Perhaps you can't find posts on how to root your phone, install custom recovery or maybe you have questions about how to navigate and use features on the site.
Our XDA Assist team will give you links to threads/forums that are relevant to your problem. You may be pointed towards guides and instructions that can be quite complex, so you will still need to read carefully and be cautious before attempting to make software changes to your device. It is essential you are in the correct forum for your device model; what works for one can ruin another.
Thanks for understanding
You can start asking in the device forum related from here: > Nexus 7 > Nexus 7 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting or directly in this thread: Nexus 7 Help Thread

So I've rooted this device several times and only once.... have I gotten the wifi to stay on.
But I decided to turn off the device and after that next reboot, the wifi was no longer allowing me to connect.
Attempting to turn on the wifi will freeze the device. I have no idea why it's doing this nor how I got the wifi to stay on previously.
Has anyone found a solution to this problem?
I have successfully rooted many devices and this is the only device that has given me this much stress.
I do not want to go back to stock again, KNOX over heats the tablet and Samsung devices are known to have
heavy bloatware. I just want this device running on wifi and block the mobile data option but that requires root.

that has not given a specific answer to this problem nor close this discussion, This issue needs a solution. I can not stress the importance on this request. Any time I ask a question generally I get re-directed to another post with in the vicinity of nowhere near the request and only to go back to square one. I just really need this issue resolved as soon as possible.
I have already search on this form

as well as this one.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/tab-4/development/rom-sm-t237p-rooted-odexed-2015-04-11-t3079083
and still no solution was found.
Again please DO NOT re-direct me nor close this post.

Hi there,
First of all I think you need to read our sticky threads about the purpose of this XDA Assist Forum. Take a look bellow with highlighted words:

I have a Chinese Android Netbook (Model: HL-PC1088) that I would like to wipe and try to resell. It runs Android Jellybean 4.2.1. I would like to wipe all of the data currently on the device by performing a factory reset, but I'm having trouble finding any tutorials or resources on how to do so for this device. If someone could point me in the right direction, or has any advice in general preparing a device for resale, I would greatly appreciate it! If you need any more information, either about the device or anything else, please ask!

Hello and thank you for using XDA Assist.
We cannot provide technical support nor can other members reply to your posts here on XDA Assist. On most Android devices, there is an option, usually under a "Backup and Reset" menu, to perform a factory reset but there is no forum specifically for the HL-PC1088 at this time and I was unable to find any reference to that device. I suggest that you ask your question with all relevant details in the friendly general Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum at http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help. That's a good place to start where members familiar with your device might be able to advise you.
Good luck!
Hey guys, I just wanted to ask how I may go onto flashing Android onto this Chinese Fake Iphone.
What i've gathered so far is that this fake Iphone has sometype of Android already on it. I just want to know how I may go to reformatting and flashing a new rom on it.
Hello and thanks for using XDA Assist,
Since we are unaware of the phone you mentioned, we cannot help you with firmwares, What I can do here is to suggest you to please create a thread here http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help. You can also ask your query here providing them relevant details about your device chipset, RAM etc.
Good luck,
