I've installed the Verizon Wireless Software Upgrade Assistant and yesterday installed a new Update to 5.1.1
This is the second upgrade I've gotten in 2 weeks.
The upgrade included changes to
the Baseband,
the build number,
the SE for Android Status,
the VPN,
the Knox version.
I'm just hoping that I'll get Marshmallow soon.

I appreciate that. It shows the update 21r but doesn't show what the update is about. I believe this is the last update I'll need for a while so I should be able to root at this point and post up for a while.
Yes id wait for marshmallow to be out for a while to to see bugs and such before updating to it too i run kk until about 2 months ago just because of all the bugs

I'm hoping someone posts a link to the firmware download (for install using Odin). I couldn't find one for the previous version.
So every month there's new security risks that Samsung failed to find the previous month. Yay!
Does anyone know if this has a new bootloader (Binary 5)? I'm trying to install this firmware on my SM-G935P so that it can work properly with Verizon. Sprint released Binary 5 over a month ago, so I am just impatiently waiting for it from Verizon.
Hello
Forgive my noob question but I searched a lot and couldn't find an answer
I bought my phone about 4 months ago
It's build number is BLL-L22C636B160(marshmallow)
Until now,I didn't get the OTA update
I downloaded the build BLL-L22C636B384
It said : fullOTA-MF
What does MF means? (I'm not a native speaker so I couldn't know)
I jst want to check :is this the official nougat update?
And could anything wrong happen to my device if I updated it instead of waiting for the OTA update?
Thanks a lot
Use firmware finder for update and check for firmware access if approved then use in app proxy
Hello XDA community,
I got an interesting notification from Samsung while browsing through the internet.
Android wants me to "update" to their 7.0 Nougat firmware with the december security patch. So far so good, firmware updates by samsung take ages anyway but there is a big problem
I already flashed to Oreo 8.0 with Odin 3.1
My question is how can I remove that forced software update? Samsung support told me Odin wouldn't be an official programm and that they won't help me with rooted devices..
From the little I've read here at XDA, the BL has not been blocked, so you should be able to re-flash the firmware you wish.
