Any given Device can have an AOSP (Android Open Source Project) Rom/Firmware. Either Developed by Google or by developers here on XDA. That would give you GPE experience even if that's not a Official GPE device.
Please post in [RC-FAQ] >> Frequently Asked Questions for Motorola Moto G [Updated : 2014/12/08] so that one of the experts for your device may be able to chime in.

I wanted to root and install either cyanogenmod 12 or moto x pure rom over my Vivo v3 . My mobile have a fingerprint scanner, but moto x purr rom don't, will it work or not later. My vivo v3 have lollipop version right now, can I switch it to Marshmallow after installation of custom ROMs.

Hi, Thanks for using XDA assist.
It looks like there is no dedicated forum for your device, however
There is a general forum for android here http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help where you can try to ask to get expert's help.
Good luck
Hello everyone.
This is only a question regarding one of the applications that, in my opinion, have excellent usability proposal in some Motorola devices.
I have a Moto G 3rd Generation (16 GB). Because Lenovo abandoned this model, I decided to go to the ROMs customizable alternatives, and in this case I am using the ROM AICP 12.0 with Android 7.0 Nougat.
But I wonder, why not is possible install those native apps Moto G3, such as Moto screen, Moto Shares and etc?
The hardware is the same, the device still remains the same... there any way to force installing and running these apps on another ROM?
