Yessssssss, me too with the DEEP sleep. It happens too often sometimes...like for instance..right before I posted this reply, my LG V10 running 5.1.1, I had to hard reset my phone 3 Times in a row bc of the DEEP sleeping. I do love everything else about it tho bc it helps my battery life a good deal.

[Q] Android system draining battery

About a week after I got this phone, android system began to drain a lot of my battery. I turned off sync, disabled a lot of apps, and adjusted Google now, didn't seem to help. I don't know what else to do. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I'm having a similar problem except it is Call Standby, no one could answer it with a proper fix, though apparently it is VoIP, sadly we can't disable it on VZW S6.

Try clearing cache in recovery, I heard that fixes it.
For Cell Standby drain see this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/ver...ow-to-significantly-increase-battery-t3109799
Thank you!
Help please!
I would also LOVE some help with this too. Currently, Android system is taking up 29% of my battery resources and cell standby is at 10%. I think I've exhausted all possibilities too. I've tried wiping the cache partition, factory data rest, odin back to stock, advanced calling on and off, changing the WiFi sleep policy and nothing seems to tame either one of those from being at the top of my battery stats. I struggle to get 3 hours of SoT. Gsam regularly says that WiFi active uses 40% - 50% of the battery. Any ideas what's going on or how to fix it? I am amazed at some of the screen shots I see with people easily getting 5+ hours of SoT. Ps, I'm on VZW.
What are you running? Stock now? Clean Rom? Try downloading Better battery stats in the Play Store, see if you can get a better handle on what's running more specifically. Have you removed all Verizon's bloat?

And yes, I've disabled all bloat and unused apps.
What I would do is root, and flash Clean Rom 1.5. Then try that and see how you do after that there's a few things you can do that might help if you don't see a jurassic change. Keep us updated though. But thats where I would start.

You also can try to turn off things like smart stay… auto brightness helps if you turn it off and turn your brightness down manually. And make sure if you do flash a rum to let it settle for 3 or 4 days before your give up hope.

It does not trip knox, there's a guide that I take no credit for http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3104094

Experiencing distortion on calls

I'm experiencing some kind of disturbance on calls in which the person on the other side is not able to hear me.. It only happens 40% times though. I have to cut the call and call back again for it to go away. It has never happened while I'm calling from whatsapp. Can it be a phone problem or a network problem? Coz everytime it happens my network signal is full and it didn't use to happen on my other phone. It has been only 48hrs that I bought OnePlus one.

Disable Ok google voice command , also you can edit your build prop this way
BEFORE FIX
ro.qc.sdk.audio.fluencetype=fluence
persist.audio.fluence.voicecall=true
AFTER FIX
ro.qc.sdk.audio.fluencetype=fluence
persist.audio.fluence.voicecall=true
persist.audio.fluence.voicerec=false
persist.audio.fluence.speaker=false
this can also be done by flashing kernels such as AK or any other which support synapse and you can use the inbuilt lowmicFix
I followed the above and now i dont face any problems !

i have the same problem, it's driving me crazy.
i am on cm 12.1n, updated to the latest one, tried to clear cache, dalvik, doesn't work.
i had multirom installed, though it was related to the problem so i removed it, still have problems.
my next step is to clean install back to stock, but i don't have time to do that right now, also, i like the nightlies.
i think i noticed that after i update to a new nightly, and my xposed framework is not installed yet, my calls are fine, but i am not sure.
do you have xposed installed?

Thanks Pras96... I have disabled Ok Google on all screens and just left it on in the app. I can see it could be related. I thought the problem could be related to the LTE Problem of the OPO in Germany, and some problem I've been experiencing with losing signal at home, where I always had signal with the Nexus 4.
Thanks for this recommendation, I will keep checking if it gets solved.

Galaxy S7 Audio Issues

Hey, I've recently bought a S7 and now I face audio issues. Whenever I watch a video, listen to music, or play games, the audio would usually cut out, and resume after a minute or so. I've never gotten this issue using the 3.5mm headphone jack. Do you guys think it's a hardware or software issue?
Thanks.
that never happened to me before, did you drop it hard someday ? if not, then get it replaced
There is a whole thread about this issue, just type s7 sound problem in search box, one user posted videos. I have the same problem, still don't know what's causing it.

Apparently it has something to do with some Google apps, I'm not too sure how to fix it though.

I did dunk it in water a few times.
Hi,
I have the same problem with audio. It looks definitely as software problem. When the problem occurs i run Hardware diagnostic tests - *#0*# and run speaker test. After that test the speaker works fine.
For me it is something wrong with deep sleep or this doze feature.
Regards

I tried contacting samsung, but they only said that i should bring the phone to closest service when the sound bug happens. The problem is that it can happen any time, and go away in the same manner -.-

I browsed around and found out that other devices suffer from these issues. Also, Samsung customer care told me to do a cache wipe and it still didn't fix the issue.
FIXED! After becoming angered with the device, I slapped the living hell out of it and there are no more issues! None whatsoever for about 1 month.
I also have the same problem, someone has solved?

I wouldn't recommend abusing your phone out of frustration (as noob924 claims to have done). Odds are greater that you'd damage it than that you'd find your issue resolved

i make an applications thats try to fix it temporary.
download : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wendyliga.s7soundfix
how it works?
This app simply request Audio Focus and then relase it again , so your Media Player (Youtube , Music , etc) can gain Sound again.

Ghost touch when I get a call

Lately my phone has been acting strange. I had ghost touch issues in the past but it has stopped then. But now all of a sudden it's started again. But this time only when a call arrives. When I get a call there are random touches happening on the screen. I tried different ROMs but same is happening in every rom.

Maybe your Moto G3 display itself has a problem in it.
Or Try this one
Flash Stock Firmware. And then check if the same problem arises.:good:

I know there's a lot of info re "calibrating" batteries but I don't think that's real for todays phones/batteries. Only way to be sure is to get an OEM battery on fleabay and replace it, which is tedious, but there are "teardowns" that describe how to do it. Just be sure the new battery says OEM.

LOL fleabay is just my made-up name for ebay. Yes, when you order something from ebay there is always the chance that it is fake.
Here are 3 I picked that had the Motorola name - one if you need tools. I can't "recommend" anything obviously but if I were doing it I would probably order from one of these.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Motorola-FC...340572?hash=item2371c12c5c:g:S8QAAOSwGtRXzzcG
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Motorola-FC...645905?hash=item281fd37e11:g:LToAAOSwknJXzzfe
http://www.ebay.com/itm/OEM-Motorol...632335?hash=item3ad3b008cf:g:9HcAAOSwEzxYPcEG
I was hoping to see one from China since that's where they're all made anyway, but saw none saying Motorola. ymmv.

I'm facing this issue that started a week ago. It seems that the signal is interfering with the touch panel on my LG G4. The problem started when i went on vacation and the signal im only getting when I open data is "G". The screen would go crazy. When I go outside to get strong signal it goes back to normal.

Major battery drain from Phone Idle and Android OS

Here are some screenshots.. These 2 are just eating the battery all the time, I thought 7.0 was meant to save battery but it's a constant drain..
happens with me and with many. but it seemed that after some days, the mobile is adapting to the running applications and the battery usage is getting better... still not perfect, and those (android, phone idle, and google services) have the most usage, but better than before.

I really hope so.. I think this is a clash of Google and Sony battery saving efforts.. But more of a issue with Google.. Sony in the past have proved their battery stamina mode was ahead of its time..
