I purchase MX PLAYER PRO version from google play store .. after installing the app it say APP DOES NOT INSTALLED. i also download mx player pro from third party sites.. But i face same problem .
Please give me a good suggestion,
Try some other players like mobo, vlc, real player, vplayer

Once again ... my MX Player Pro is not able to play the same videos which played successfully last month.
I had the same problem which I posted earlier this year, but now the suggested custom codec in that thread does not work. I get this message: "video format (mpeg2video) is not supported"
I have MX Player Pro version 1.9.24 installed on my Samsung tablet running Android version: 4.4.2.
The app codec shows up as Armv7 Neon Type.
I have uninstalled and re-installed the ap, and checked for updates. Still does not play my videos.
I went to the link for mxvpen downloads and downloaded MX Player Pro 1.9.24 (ARM) using Chrome which performed an update. Still cannot get this app to play. I also tried installing the extra Neon Codec 1.9.19.
This is very aggravating and I regret buying this ap.
Any other ideas would be appreciated.
When I got my Note8, I already had a MX Player Pro license, but I noticed I am showing both MX Player and MX Player Pro in my list of apps and MXP free shows it is responsible for 50% battery usage when I have not even opened it. When I do open MX Player it is the Pro version. Do I need both of them or can I uninstall MX Player free without affecting my Pro installation?

Thanks for sharing your concerns with us. Both MX Player Free and Pro uses the same shared id. So, the system may show all resource usages under any one of them. However, both are standalone apps and can work independently. So, it's absolutely safe to uninstall the free version if you are no longer using it.
